Kuntanolla Shiva Kumar

Kuntanolla Shiva Kumar is an Indian Politician belonging to the TRS Party. He is a prominent TRS leader with plenty of experience in the political field. He is the current Siddipet District Kabaddi Association General Secretary.

Born and Education:

He was born on 05th June 1990 in Erravalli. His parents were Rajaiah and Chandramma.

In 2007, Shiva Kumar completed his schooling at APSLRS Residential school, located at Thoguta. He earned Intermediate from Grupa junior college. Shiva Kumar graduated with a Degree from Osmania University.

Professional Life:

Shiva Kumar had acquired a great reputation in the Sports field. He strongly believes that youth have to focus on Sports as well studies. It builds their mental ability.  He served as the Kabaddi Coach. Sivakumar has always been praised by the authorities for supplying sports equipment to the young and offering special services to them in whatever manner feasible.

In 2019, Shiva Kumar General Secretary of Kabaddi Youth Association, and he currently serving in the position.

A career in Politics:

In 2009, Shiva Kumar started his Political Journey with the Telangana Rashtra Samiti(TRS) party. He was recognized as a Public Leader for contributing to each activity. By identifying his commitment, and pure attention to serving people the Erravalli residents elected him Village President.

Telangana Movement:

The Telangana Movement refers to a movement for the creation of a new state, Telangana, from the pre-existing state of Andhra Pradesh in India. The new state corresponds to the Telugu-speaking portions of the erstwhile princely state of Hyderabad. After several years of protest and agitation, the central government, under the United Progressive Alliance, decided to bifurcate the existing Andhra Pradesh state, and on 7 February 2014, the Union Cabinet unilaterally cleared the bill for the creation of Telangana. Lasting for almost a decade, this has been one of the most long-lasting movements in South India.

Shiva Kumar played an active role during the late 2000s Telangana Separate State Movement spearheaded by now-CM, K.Chandrashekar Rao. He took part in Chalo Hyderabad, Vanta Varpu, dharnas, rasta rokos, protest programs, and rallies as part of the Telangana Movement.

Under the supervision of Shiva Kumar, he did equal justice to the party and the people. The party high command praised his strategic and organizational abilities and was recognized as a key strategist for being instrumental in successfully working as a party activist and Social Activist.

Shiva Kumar Narendra was appointed and took charge as Siddipet District Kabaddi Association General Secretary. He was credited for having successfully carried out the responsibility of being District General Secretary.

Activities by Shiva Kumar being a Responsible General Secretary of Kabaddi Youth Association:

-Kabaddi Youth Association General Secretary Shiva Kumar lauded Gajwel’s young players for their talents in various sports at the National Youth Festival.

-Shiva Kumar, General Secretary, Kabaddi Youth Association, participated in the Gajwel Black Level Sports Meet jointly organized by Nehru Youth Center Siddipet and District Kabaddi Association, Gajwel Volleyball Association.

-Under the auspices of the Gajwel Cricket Association, the winners of the Gajwel Premier League GPL Cricket Tournament were presented with their prizes by Kabaddi Youth Association General Secretary Shiv Kumar and congratulated.

-Gajwel Pragyapur Municipal Chairman NC Rajamouli honored Shivakumar at his residence with the election of Sivakumar as a working member of the Kabaddi Association at the state level. Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman said that sports are very useful for the future of the students. Sports are said to cause mental development. On the occasion, Sivakumar lauded the Kabaddi Association for providing exceptional services at the district and state levels.

Service During the Pandemic Covid-19:

-Pandemic hit the people’s lives very badly poor people’s lives become very difficult during the covid crisis.

-Shiva Kumar gave his contribution to the poor, village people during the pandemic.

-He distributed food and rice bags to the migrants and also contributed to them financially.

-He donates rice bags, vegetables, and medicine to covid victims who are suffering from covid and cannot go out to fetch food.

-He also supported the poor financially by providing essential goods for those who could not find employment or food due to the lockdown.

-Provided annadhanam program to the Police, Municipal, front-line workers who served a lot during the corona crisis.

-Conducted awareness programs on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.

-Shiva Kumar put effort even during the Covid second wave.

-He distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people.

-Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and the effects of the virus. Organized awareness programs on precautions to be taken to prevent covid and said no need to panic.

-The area infected with the coronavirus has been declared a red zone and people have been given proper precautions and instructions.
