Kottakota Visweswara Rao is an Indian Politician of the JSP and Mandal President of Burja Mandal in the Srikakulam District in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

Early life and Education:

On January 12th, 1981, Visweswara Rao was born to the couple Mr. Kottakota Kurminaidu and Mrs. Kottakota Venkatalaxmi. He was raised in Thotavada Village, Burja Mandal, Srikakulam District, Andhra Pradesh.

In 1996, he completed his Board of Secondary Education from Zilla Parishad High School located at Thotavada and he obtained his Intermediate from Shanthinikethan Junior College situated at Srikakulam.

He acquired his Graduation from G.C.S.R Degree College and he sustained his Post Graduation in Information Systems from Nagarjuna University in Guntur.

A career in Politics:

Visweswara Rao entered politics at a young age in 2014 via the Janasena Party (JSP). He did this because he was moved by the party’s founder, Tollywood actor Pawan Kaylan, and his desire to help people.

As a Party Activist of JSP, he has gone above and beyond his means to promote the party and benefit society by carrying out his duties appropriately and according to the party’s rules and regulations.

He worked as Mandal Leader of Burja in the Srikakulam District of Andhra Pradesh due to his continued commitment and genuine interest. Since then, he has contributed to the welfare of society by doing his tasks according to the norms and regulations.

In 2020, the JSP made him the Constituency Leader of Amadalavalasa so that he could help the people and solve their problems by doing his job right and following the policies and procedures of the party.

His constant attention and dedication to service led to his promotion to the Mandal President of of Burja from JSP in 2023 to promote the proper focus on the need for effective and comprehensive expansion in people by doing his part to overcome the hardships faced by the people.

He keeps the faith that the people have put in him and continues his service, focusing on the welfare of the people at the present time and engaging in actions that would promote the party.

Contested Position:

During the period of elections in 2021, Visweswara Rao contested for the position of ZPTC from the Janasena Party, but the contested position was defeated.

Activities are done by Visweswara Rao:

Organized blood donation camps to promote blood donation awareness in their area.
The Vana Mahotsavam brought attention to the importance of planting, and they planted 5,000 saplings in their district.
Organ donation awareness programs were organized in their area.
During the summer, Chalivendras are placed to quench the thirst of tourists and residents.
He often organized free medical camps.
He has donated meals, fruits, and blankets to patients in hospitals, nursing homes, and orphanages.
Swachh Bharat projects have been implemented by educating people that they would not get any illnesses if the environment is maintained clean.

Party Activities:

He briefed the youth on the development programs being carried out by the Janasena Party and encouraged the youth to join the party by informing them that the Janasena Party has decided to do zero-budget politics.
He Organises Party programs by the JSP. He conveyed to the people the greatness of the Party all over the constituency.
He will work for the party day and night to constantly strengthen the party at the field level and is always fighting with the government over the problems facing the people and working hard for a solution.
He responds to any grievances the people in the village raise, brings them to the notice of the concerned authorities or ministers and works towards a speedy solution.
He also took part in the GoodMorningCM Sir program, the Janabata Program, the Janavani program, and several more programs.

Social Services:

Visweswara Rao participated in village development activities like repairing roads, digging borewells, erecting street lights, clearing drainage systems, and resolving water problems.
As a part of Environmental Protection, he has taken an active role by participating in the Palle Pragathi and Clean and Green by casting the plants in the village.
He financially assisted the poor people in the village and also helped them in all possible ways when needed.
With the intention of no student being illiterate due to lack of money, Visweswara Rao provided financial support to the poor people in the village and also donated a certain amount to the meritorious students for their higher education.
Every year, Visweswara Rao visits orphan homes as it marks the birth anniversary of Tollywood Actor and Indian Politician Pawan Kalyan, and he delivers meals, fruits, and many more essential requirements for orphans.
Many party development programs were carried out in the village for the growth of the party and he respectably accepts the work assigned by the higher authorities and is completely involved in sorting out the issues raised on any topics.

Pandemic Services:

He distributed 10,000 masks across the district by raising awareness about Corona.
He distributed essential goods to about 5,000 people affected by the Corona crisis.
Visweswara Rao sneaked towards helping those impacted by the lockdown by distributing vegetables and fruits to villagers, the needy, and Municipality personnel while abiding by the precautions.
An awareness program has been conducted to spread awareness about social distancing and following precautionary measures to prevent the Epidemic of Corona
Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for the town’s safety as part of the drive to eradicate the corona epidemic.
He looked after the people and was constantly available, mainly to the poorest people in the zone. He rushed to the hospital with the corona-affected people and admitted them after consulting the doctor.
During the worldwide lockdown, Visweswara Rao assisted people by providing meals to them after following specific precautionary measures.
