Dr. Kothwal Dayanand is the South India Home Guard Spokesperson in the Indian state of Telangana.
EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION:
On the 29th of July 1983, Dayanand was born in Secunderabad, Telangana to the couple Mr. Kothwal Rama Krishna and Mrs. Kothawal Sakkubhai.
In the year 2000, Dayanand studied his Secondary board of education from Govt Boys High School Hills Street Sec located at Secunderabad of Hyderabad.
He completed his Undergraduate course in 2004 at Amaravathi Talent School situated at Namalagundu of Secunderabad and acquired his bachelor’s degree of B.A. from Ambedkar Open University.
PROFESSIONAL LIFE:
Dayanand was recruited as a Home Guard in 2006 to operate as a supplementary force to the police in maintaining internal security consequences.
His initial appointment was at the C.A.R. Headquarters in Hyderabad, where he assisted in the maintenance of critical services, encouraged communal peace, aided the government in safeguarding marginalized people, and undertook Civil Defence commitments.
The Hyderabad City Home Guards are struggling to make ends meet because their monthly wage is barely Rs 9000. Dayanand sought the SBI for them on Minister Srinivas’ instructions, and the bank granted them 125000 personal loans.
Dayanand was awarded a financial reward of Rs 3,000 by the Police Official Authority in 2012 in appreciation of his dedication to Pratibha Patil and Pranab Mukherjee’s work responsibilities.
Dayanand is continuously reacting to the difficulties that the Home Guards experience while performing their responsibilities, bringing them to the focus of Minister Srinivas Goud, the Honorary President of the Home Guards Association, and resolving the issues that the Home Guards confront.
CAREER IN SOCIAL LIFE:
He is a staunch believer that each and every individual should engage in social work that builds a sense of patriotism in their souls and one should constantly try to influence people around them by emphasizing that one is indebted to society.
With the sole idea of helping the poor in all possible ways, Dayanand joined Sri Rama Krishnaveni Seva Society a voluntary organization, and was designated as a President to serve the people in all ways by leading himself when they were in difficulty and his pure sense of humor turned him into a great man with humanity.
He Joined the Nayee Brahmana Seva Sangam (Reg.No: 500/82) and as a Joint Secretary, he serves society with the mission of accumulating consciousness among the poor through innovative livelihood activities, striving for a corruption-free society, and ensuring order and responsibility in all actions aimed at improving the weaker sections.
He was serving as the State President of Home Guards Welfare Association, has been constantly worked for the people, thinking about their welfare, and gained immense admiration from the people.
His unwavering dedication and genuine interest have earned him the position of National Janata Mazdoor Sangh (BJMS) South India Secretary and Representative of South India Homeguards in 2022. Since then, he has served the welfare of society by fulfilling his responsibilities appropriately and in accordance with the norms and regulations.
He was appointed as the Human Rights Council South India Working President due to his continued commitment and genuine interest. Since then, he has contributed to the welfare of society by doing his tasks according to the norms and regulations.
Social Activities:
- Every year at the orphanage, Dayanand celebrates his birthday and serves fruits and meals to the children and organizes a blood donation camp and a health camp in his region by donating blood and distributing medicines to the needy.
- Dayanand has organized and conducted a number of social initiatives, as well as providing assistance to those in need.
- He broadened his efforts by assisting impoverished people who had been harmed by the death of family members, as well as offering a guaranteed amount for the well-being of bereaved families.
- He is always seeking and contending for the people’s well-being. He will aid people who come to him for assistance and provide people with the necessities they desire.
- During the first and second waves of Corona, Dayanand offered financial and humanitarian help to people who were affected by the lockdown.
- He distributed masks, sanitizers, and food to the underprivileged, as well as financial assistance. Dayanand conducted a Corona Virus awareness initiative and advised residents on ways to resist contracting the disease.
- In the corona-infected quarantine, necessities were provided along with fruits and vegetables to families who did not even have the essentials to eat at home. He is always accessible, primarily to the zone’s poorest inhabitants.
- During the corona lockdown, Dayanand conducts an Annadanam Program for orphans and those suffering from corona disease.
PERSONAL LIFE:
Every year, Dayanand adorns the Ayyappa Mala. During the 18th Ayyappa Mala, Dayanand trekked 1350 kilometers from Hyderabad to Sabarimala. For reciting the Ayyappa Mala Deeksha for the 25th time, Dayanand Gari was titled Spiritual Guru(Adyathmika Guru Swamy).
Awards and Recognition
1. On the occasion of the Silver Jubilee under the auspices of the Bojja Foundation in Rabindrabharati, Chairman Rammohan Rao presented the National Reformer of National Service Award to outstanding service reformers, including Kothwal Dayanand.
2. The Telangana State Corona Warrior Award was presented by the Srikaram charity in recognition of the community reformers who have done service to the community during Corona.
3. On the occasion of the 158th Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, the Swami Vivekananda National Award was presented at the Chikkadpally Thyagaraja Gana Sabha under the auspices of Sri Ramakrishna Seva Society and Shikharam Art Theaters for outstanding personalities in the fields of education, medicine and social work in all fields of service in India.
