Kothareddy Narendra Reddy

Kothareddy Narendra Reddy is the YSRCP Party Activist from Velpumadugu, Bathalapalle Mandal, Anantapur district. He was born on 5th March 1994 in Velpumadugu village. His parents were Laxmi Reddy and Chinna Krishnamma.

Education Background:

In 2010, Narendra Reddy completed his schooling at Shanthinikethan high school, located at Gorantla, and from 2010-2012, he completed Intermediate from Sri Sai junior college, Dharmavaram. In 2015, Narendra Reddy attained his Graduation(Degree) from Srinivasa degree college, resided at Dharmavaram.

A career in Politics:

Narendra Reddy believes that politicians alone are capable of putting an end to corruption, bribery, and a variety of other unlawful actions in society and transforming the nation into a corruption-free state. With the belief that he entered into Active Politics and has started his political career as a Member of the Yuvajana Shramika Rythu Congress Party(YSRCP).

From 2011-to 2014, Narendra Reddy took charge and served as YSR Student Union Division President and is carrying out his tasks in order to fulfill his obligations and responsibilities. He was appointed as Mandal President of Bathalapalle from the Student Organization in recognition of his outstanding service and valuable contribution to society. He staged many movements, dharnas over students issues such as the immediate release of job notifications, fee reimbursement, scholarships, etc.

He become an Party Activist and took part in “Gadapa Gadapa ki YSR” program, he made people aware of YSRCP schemes such as Jagananna Amma Vodi, Jagananna Chedodu, Jagananna Vidya Kanuka, Illa Pattalu, YSR Arogya scheme, YSR Bima, YSR Pension Kanuka, YSR Rythu Bharosa, YSR Sunna Vaddi Pathakam, YSR Vahana Mitra etc. He made the Navaratnalu scheme available to everyone. He gave his contributions to Samaikyandhra Movement, for Special Status, also took part in Y.S Jagan’s, Y.S Sharmila’s Padayatra.

YSRCP Activities:

• The “Ammaoodi” scheme introduced by Jagan Mohan Reddy for students is Historic. MLA Kethireddy Venkata Ramireddy said that it was possible to eradicate illiteracy through this. He participated in the inauguration of the second installment of Ammaoodi which is set up at the Municipal High School. The cultural dances performed by the students on this occasion impressed everyone. The event was attended by Mandal President Narendra Reddy and party leaders.
• MLA Kethireddy Venkata Ramireddy said that the YSRCP government was working for the welfare of the farmers. Agricultural power transformers were distributed to 84 farmers in Tadimarri zones at the power substation at Battalapally, the center of the zone. Power Minister DE Surendra Babu presided over the meeting and MLA Kethireddy Venkata Ramireddy was the chief guest.

• Mandal President Narendra Reddy and YSRCP leaders staged a dharna in the Dharmavaram constituency in support of CM Jagan’s Hunger Strike for handloom workers.

• YSRCP activists laid wreaths at The author of the Constitution of India, BR.Ambedkar’s statue on the occasion of his birth anniversary.

• YSRCP leaders anointed CM Jagan’s photo for introducing the “Jagananna Vidyadivena” scheme for students.

• YSRCP leaders went on an innovative bullock cart to protest the reduction in inflated petrol and diesel prices

Social Service: 

• Narendra Reddy also worked as Social Activist in the Domadugu village.
• He complained to the relevant authorities for the solution of several issues. He protests and holds dharnas against the decisions taken by the government against the people and seeks justice for the people.
• He engaged in programs like Palle Pragati, Harithaharam, and Swachh Bharath, organized the blood camp and medical camp in the village, and donated the blood for the needy people.
• Narendra Reddy financially assisted the poor people in the village and also helped them in all possible ways when needed.
• He conducted Village development activities in the village like laying of CC Roads, Digging of Borewells, Putting up Street Lights, Clearance of Drainage systems, and Solving water Problems.
• He distributed fruits and medicines to the unhealthy students and needy people in the village.
• He fought and solved the issues like pensions, Ration cards, Health cards, and also the issues relating to Aadhar cards.
• Distributed Books, pads, and Stationary things to High School Students and motivates them to score high marks.
• He provided his financial support to the poor people in the village and also donated a certain amount to the merit students for their higher education.

Narendra Reddy’s effort during the Covid Crisis:

-The epidemic has badly damaged people’s lives. Ordinary people could not survive during the Covid Pandemic.

-During the pandemic, Ravindra Reddy gave his contribution to the poor as his best.

-He distributed food and rice bags to the migrants and also contributed to them financially.

-He donates rice bags, vegetables, and medicine to covid victims who are suffering from covid and cannot go out to fetch food.

-Provided annadhanam program to the Police, Municipal, front-line workers who served a lot during the corona crisis.

-Conducted awareness programs on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.

-Narendra Reddy put effort even during the Covid second wave.

-He distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people.

-Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and about the effects of the virus.

-Organized awareness programs on precautions to be taken to prevent covid and said no need to panic.

-The area infected with the coronavirus has been declared a red zone and people have been given proper precautions and instructions.
