Early Life and Education:
On April 16th, 1877, Kothapet Laxmaiah Kunti was born and raised by the esteemed couple Mr. Kothapet Chandraiya and Mrs. Kothapet Pentamma in the village of Kothapet at Keshampet Mandal of Ranga Reddy District from the Indian State of Telangana.
It was in the year of 1993 that Laxmaiah Kunti obtained his Secondary School of Education, which he accomplished with excellence, from the Zilla Parishad High School, located in Kothapet. He further went on to complete his Intermediate Education with distinction, in 1995, from the Nalgonda Junior College, situated in the same eminent city of Kothapet.
A career in TDP:
In 1995, Laxmaiah Kunti made the conscious decision to join the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) after being impressed by the party’s commitment to providing services to the community. From the beginning of his tenure, Laxmaiah Kunti has been steadfast in his dedication to advancing the people’s welfare while meeting his constituents’ specific needs.
Laxmaiah Kunti has worked tirelessly to promote social development. His unwavering commitment to serving the community has earned him the respect and admiration of his peers. In recognition of his hard work and humility, he was recognized as an Active Member of TDP, allowing him to further his efforts to support the community.

Laxmaiah Kunti had a sense of service since childhood and intended to be able to do all services to the people politically; Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao, the founder of the Bharatha Rashtra Samithi(BRS), formally knowns as Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), was enchanted by the services rendered to the people and joined the TRS party in and served as a Leader of the Party.
Laxmaiah Kunti, a dedicated BRS Party Activist, has tirelessly worked towards promoting social development, earning the admiration and respect of his peers through his unwavering commitment to serving the community. Acknowledging his hard work and humility, he was appointed the Village Committee President of Kothapet in 2008, allowing him to further his efforts in supporting the community.
Laxmaiah Kunti has consistently maintained the people’s trust in him and continues to prioritize the community’s welfare. In keeping with his enduring commitment to the party and community, he was appointed the Mandal Vice President for Keshampet in 2008 from TRS. He was pivotal in ensuring that critical tasks were executed efficiently during his tenure, and he served in this position until 2009.
In recognition of his commitment to the people’s welfare and adherence to a strict code of conduct, the BRS Party appointed Laxmaiah Kunti as the Mandal SC Cell Secretary of Keshampet in 2011. The year 2004 marked a significant turning point in the life of the distinguished activist and Member of Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti; with his dedication to serving the people, he was appointed Vice President of the Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti, commonly known as the MRPS. This was a momentous occasion for the individual in question, as it represented a new chapter in their career as a social justice advocate.
As Vice President of the MRPS, the individual assumed great responsibility within the organization. They were tasked with leading efforts to fight for the rights of the Madiga community, a marginalized and historically oppressed group within Indian society. In this role, they worked tirelessly to raise awareness about the issues facing the Madiga community and to advocate for their inclusion in various spheres of society.
In 1998, he became a Member of the Ambedkar Yuvajana Sangam, an organization dedicated to promoting the principles and values of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, a social reformer and architect of the Indian Constitution. Through his unwavering dedication and commitment to serving the community, he quickly rose through the organization’s ranks and was eventually appointed its Secretary.
As Secretary of the Ambedkar Yuvajana Sangam, he played a critical role in advancing the organization’s mission and values. He worked tirelessly to promote social and economic justice, equality, and empowerment for marginalized communities, particularly those from lower castes and economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Laxmaiah Kunti played a pivotal role in the Telangana Movement, which aimed to carve out a new state from the existing Andhra Pradesh in India. Between 2008 and 2014, he actively participated in numerous social events and programs, including the Million March, Bike Rallies, and Dharanas, to further the cause of Telangana statehood.
During this movement, Madhukar exhibited his unflinching dedication to the cause by enduring imprisonment and the following hardships. He also organized the Rasta Roko and Sakala Jamula Samme protests and set up Vanta Varpu during the former to attract attention to the cause.

On August 15th and January 26th of every year, games and tournaments are organized to celebrate India’s Independence Day and Republic Day, respectively, providing an opportunity for community members to come together, showcase their talents and skills, and foster a sense of community spirit, with prizes distributed to the winners as a token of appreciation.
