Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy

Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy is a Member of the Legislative Assembly(MLA) of Nellore Rural Constituency from the YSRCP. He was born in 1966 to Babi Reddy and Saralamma. He has completed B.Com from Sri Venkateswara University, V.R. College, Nellore. He has a business in Real Estate.

He was married to Sujitha and they have two daughters Lakshmi Haindhavi and Sai Vaishnavi who are married to Balanandha Reddy and Nanin respectively. Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy’s self profession is a contractor and his spouse is a designer.

In 1977, He started his career as a Student Leader when he is in Secondary education. In 1981, He selected as a Student Leader at V.R College. In 1983, He has participated in ASSAM TRUTH FORCE (SATHYAGRAHAM). In 1985, When he is in Degree final year Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy served as the President of V.R. College.

When he is working as a president of the college he had participated in AAMARANA NIRAHARA DEKSHA for 13 days against the college management as a member of Akhila Bharatha Vidyarthi Parishath (ABVP).

He also worked as a City Secretary. In 1986, He selected as S.V University Sanitary Member. In 1987, He worked as District Youth General Secretary. In 1989, He served as State Youth General Secretary. From 1987-2014, he has participated in hundreds of movements and protests.

Sridhar Reddy joined the YSRCP(Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party) and was the senior Leader of his Constituency.

In 2014, Andhra Pradesh Legislative Elections, He was won the post of Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) of Nellore Rural from the YSRCP. In 2019, Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy was elected as MLA of Nellore Rural Constituency from the YSRCP.

Recent Activities:

• He distributed Masks, sanitizers, Vegetables, Rice to people at the time of COVID-19 lockdown. Donated masks, sanitizers, food to the Migrants, financially helped them. The villages were sprayed with sodium hypochlorite solution.
• He helped the poor people financially and Financial assistant to the Poor People and free blood donation camps.
• He fought for the development activities like CC Roads, Drainage, Street lights, and Water Problems in his Constituency.
