Korra Nagaraj Nayak(Local Nagu)

Korra Nagaraj Nayak is famously known as Local Nagu  is currently in the position of the Youth Vice-President of Devarakonda from the Indian National Congress Party (INC). He was born on 20-August-1992 to Khandiya and Laxmi in Chinthakunta.

In 2007, Nagaraj Nayak completed his Schooling from ZP High School in Injapur & Intermediate from Naveena Junior College located at Hastinapuram in the year 2009.

In 2010, He attained Graduation from Siddhartha Degree College from Dilsuknagar & Completed a Post Graduation from Siddhartha Institute of Technology College, Dilsukhnagar in the year 2016.

In 2008, Nayak began his political career through the Students’ Federation of India (SFI). He appointed as District president of Girijana Vidyarthi Samakhya (GVS) from Ranga Reddy in 2009. In 2010, He joined the National Students’ Union of India(NSUI).

He served as District President of Sevalal Banjara Sangam from 2012-2016 for his comprehensive service, he upgraded his designation to State President in 2017.

In 2018, He was the District in Incharge of Lambadi Ikya Vedika for Nalgonda. He has been serving as Youth Vice-President of Devarakonda Constituency Since 2020.

By continuing in politics, Nayak entered the film industry in 2007. In 2021,  He elected as Telangana State Secretary of All India Banjara Film Federation.

Recent Activities

• In 2012, Nayak played an active role during the Telangana Movement.
• He entertains people by making funny videos and also plays comedy roles in movies.
• He solves the issues of students relating to Scholarships, and he besieged the collector for fee Reimbursement
• He participated in many Dharnas, Rallies, and Bandhs like Hunger Strike, Rasta Roko, Bike Rallies, Vanta Varpu, Sakala Janula Samme, Chalo Hyderabad, and Million March.
• He engaged in programs like Palle Pragati, Harithaharam, and Swachh Bharath.
• He provided his financial support to the poor people in the village and also donated money to the merit students for their higher education.
• He financially contributed to the development of hostel Infrastructures such as benches, chairs, tube lights, beds, fans, and many more.
• Conducted many party meetings and development activities for community development.
• Nayak accompanied and participated in every Mandal level and District level and State level party meetings.
• He fought and solved the issues like pensions, Ration cards, Health cards, and also the issue relating to Aadhar cards.
• Conducted Village development activities in the village like laying of CC Roads, Digging of Borewells, Putting up Street Lights, Clearance of Drainage systems, and Solving water Problems.
• Nayak supported the farmer’s strike protesting against the agriculture reforms.

Services  during Pandemic Covid-19

•  Nayak financially helped covid victims by providing vitamin tablets, masks, Sanitizers, and fruits.
• During the Pandemic Period, he distributed fruits, food packets, and water bottles to the road siders and also distributed blankets and rugs to them.
• He also created awareness on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.
• He distributed food and rice bags to the migrants and also contributed to them financially.
• Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for the safety of the village.
• Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and about the effects of the virus.
