Koram Kanakaiah

MLA, Koyagudem, Tekulapalli, Yellandu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Telangana, TRS.

Koram Kanakaiah was the MLA of Yellandu Constituency. He was born on 06-08-1960 to Pullaiah in Koyagudem. He completed the 5th Standard. Basically, he hails from an Agricultural family.

Koram Kanakaiah entered politics in 1986 through the Indian National Congress(INC) party. In 1995, he was elected as ZPTC from Tekulapalli Mandal. In 2014, in the Telangana Assembly elections, he was elected as Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) with a margin of 44,945 votes from the Congress party.

In 2019, Zilla Parishad elections, he contested and won as ZPTC from the Tekulpalli Mandal. He was selected as ZP Chairperson of Kothagudem. He joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) party.
