Koosukuntla Prabhakar Reddy

Koosukuntla Prabhakar Reddy was the 2014-MLA of the Mungode constituency. He was born on 27-01-1960 to Jana Reddy and Kamalamma in Sarvail village in Samsthan Narayanpur, Nalgonda district.
He completed his B.Sc. from Nagarjuna College, Nalgonda. He has completed B.Ed. from Viveka Vardhini College, Hyderabad. He got married to Aruna. He hails from an Agricultural family.
He started his career as a Teacher. He fought for Telangana statehood with the support of Kallem Yadagiri Reddy, was at the forefront during the agitation in Munugode for statehood.
In the wake of the agitations, dharnas, and protests on behalf of the TRS party in the Telangana movement, Prabhakar got good recognition from the people of the Munugode constituency.
He became very popular with the people for the effort. He worked Actively to bring benefits of flagship programs like Mission Kakatiya, to end the Water Epidemic, Fluorosis through Mission Bhagiratha, Health, Education, etc to the people of Munugode.
He joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) party in 2002. In the 2014 Telangana assembly elections, He contested as an MLA from the TRS party and elected as a Member of the Legislative Assembly(MLA) by defeating Palvai Sravanthi as an Independent candidate with a margin of 65,496 votes.
