Koneti Venkanna

Koneti Venkanna is the Founder and State President of the All India Puttu Vikalangula Sangham. He was born on 10th March 1986 to the couple Narsiah and Sattama.

Education Background:

In 2003, Venkanna completed his schooling at ZP high school, located at Thimmapuram. He earned Intermediate at Sri Venkateswara Shankara junior college, Jaireddy Gudem in 2006. In 2010, Venkanna attained his Graduation(Degree) from Maharshi degree college, Suryapet. Then after he gets into higher education with his Post Graduation Venkanna pursuing MSW(Master of Social Work).

Venkanna’s effort for the welfare of the disabled:

The Disability Association’s major goal is to guarantee that persons with severe impairments have access to all government assistance programs that are accessible to those with mild disabilities. Venkanna distributed Wheelchairs to many floorwalkers. He donated 60-70 wheelchairs to the disabled on his own for 3 years.

Venkanna provided basic necessities to the 150 disabled families on behalf of the Foundation and Vikalangula Sangham. In 2017, Venkanna founded the Green Life Foundation and he was serving as the Chairman of it. Venkanna has admitted many disabled people with 90 percent disability to the orphanage he provided dresses, medicine to them.

In 2019, Venkanna has established All India Puttu Vikalangula Sangham and he currently serving as State President of the All India Puttu Vikalangula Sangham.

The government has waged many struggles to give more priority to those with minor disabilities than those with minor disabilities. The issue was also brought to the notice of the Adilabad State Commissioner. Venkanna handed over 40-50 times petition to the Collector in 4 years to resolve the issue.

Vikalangula Hakkula Chattam 2016:

Success is achieved by a person who has all the opportunities and facilities. However, the success of a person who overcomes obstacles and inconveniences in the face of special circumstances is history. Symbols include Stephen Hawking, Helen Keller, Braille, and Sudha Chandran. After winning the previous Paralympics, Mariappan Thangavelu made history by hoisting the Indian tricolor flag higher than any other country in the world. Their achievements are ideal not only for the paralyzed but also for the common people. The government has recently taken another step with the intention of introducing these achievements further to the world. The same Divyangula Act 2016.

The Divyangula Bill passed by the Parliament for the welfare of the diverse talents who are born with the hope that they will overcome it and live like everyone else in the society can be cited as a historic document.

Service for the Disabilities:

• Wheelchairs, Medicine for the mentally handicapped and the elderly were distributed to the disabled on the occasion of the birthday of Harshith, the first son of Koneti Venkanna, President of the All India Puttu Vikalangula Sangham.
• State President Koneti Venkanna distributes wheelchairs and fruits at Aleti in Suryapet on the occasion of World Disability Day.
• Leaders of the Disability Association Mandal Koneti Venkanna and Chamakuri Mallya demanded that the government increase the pension for the disabled from Rs 500 to Rs 1,000. People with disabilities staged a relay initiation in front of the MPDO office seeking an increase in pensions.
• Koneti Venkanna and other People with disabilities started a Relay Initiation at the Shiva temple in the center of the region to solve the problems of the disabled.
• All India Puttu Vikalangula Sangham Koneti Venkanna has demanded that village Sarpanch Sainath try to kill Ravula Raju, a dumb disabled person working as a technical assistant in an employment scheme in Kubhir Mandal he demanded that immediate actions should be taken against Sainath.

Awards and Recognition:

→ Venkanna got the International Best Service Award – 2020 for all the selfless hard work and humanity he has provided and his dedication, commendable service.

→ Koneti Venkanna, All India Puttu Vikalangula Sangham President, Thimmapuram village, has been nominated for the 2021 – Spoorthi Seva Award. Venkanna was presented with the award at a function hosted by the Padmavati Institute for the Divyanga at Ravindra Bharathi in Hyderabad. Among those who presented the award were Vakiti Sunita Lakshmareddy, Dr. Sravani Reddy, and others.

Pandemic Services:

-Venkanna rendered his service to the people of  Thimmapur village even during the corona which terrorized the whole country.

-He distributed food and rice bags to the migrants and also contributed to them financially.

-He donates rice bags, vegetables, and medicine to covid victims who are suffering from covid and cannot go out to fetch food.

-He also supported the poor financially by providing essential goods for those who could not find employment or food due to the lockdown.

-Provided annadhanam program to the Police, Municipal, front-line workers who served a lot during the corona crisis.

-Conducted awareness programs on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.

-Venkanna also put his effort during the covid second wave.

-He distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people.

-Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and about the effects of the virus.

-Organized awareness programs on precautions to be taken to prevent covid and said no need to panic.

-The area infected with the coronavirus has been declared a red zone and people have been given proper precautions and instructions.
