Kolavali Venugopal
Director, Andhra Pradesh Nayibrahmin Corporation, TDP BC Cell State Official Spokesperson, Badvel, Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, TDP.
Kolavali Venugopal: A Champion for the People and Society
I began my political journey in 1998 with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) under the guidance of SBVR, inspired by the ideologies of N.T. Rama Rao and N. Chandrababu Naidu. My initial role as a party activist allowed me to serve the people, showcasing my commitment to public welfare. Over the years, I held various positions within TDP, including Youth Wing Mandal President for Badvel, BC Wing District General Secretary and Vice President for Kadapa, and later, BC Welfare Board Member. These roles gave me the opportunity to work closely with marginalized communities, fighting for their rights and development.
My focus has always been on social justice and the upliftment of the backward classes. I have been actively involved in organizing protests, hunger strikes, and dharnas against anti-people policies and decisions, particularly in the areas of electricity tariff hikes, agricultural laws, and the rising prices of essential commodities. My efforts have been directed at ensuring that the voices of the underprivileged are heard and that they receive the support they need, especially in times of crisis.
In 2021, I had the privilege of being the Party In-Charge for Renigunta Mandal during the Tirupati elections. I worked diligently to connect with the local population, ensuring that the campaign was impactful and successful. My work earned me the position of TDP BC Cell State Official Spokesperson in 2022, where I continued to fight for the welfare of backward classes. I am also currently serving as the Director of Andhra Pradesh Nayibrahmin Corporation, where I focus on empowering the Nayibrahmin community through various development programs.
Through all these years, my vision has remained clear: to serve the people, especially the Dalits, minorities, and the economically disadvantaged. Whether through protests, welfare programs, or fighting for the rights of private teachers, small traders, and families affected by the pandemic, I have always strived to ensure that every individual has a chance at a better life. My journey continues with the same dedication to public service and social justice.
