Kilari Venkata Roshaiah

Kilari Venkata Roshaiah was the Member of the Legislative Assembly(MLA) of Ponnur Constituency from the YSRCP. He was born in 1968 to Koteswara Rao (Late). He has completed B.Com from J.K.C College, Acharya Nagarjuna University in 1987. He has Business. Venkata Roshaiah is a Volleyball player. He has so much interest in Sports.

Venkata Roshaiah’s father worked as Councilor and Mirchi Market Yard Chairman he contested as MLA from Guntur West constituency but he lost. In 1985, Venkata Roshaiah elected unanimously as Vice-President of JKC college.

In 1993, He served as Vice-President of the Mirchi Association. He elected as Guntur Mirchi Yard Association President in 1994.

In 2009, He joined the Praja Rajyam Party(PRP) and appointed as Guntur Town President from the PRP party. In 2009, he contested as MLA from Tenali constituency but he lost.

He joined the YSRCP(Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party). In 2019, In Andhra Pradesh Legislative Elections, he was won the post of Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) with the highest majority of 86,458 votes from the YSRCP party. He served as State Secretary from the YSRCP.

He has a special interest in Social Activities. He has been sponsored 5,00,000 rupees to poor students every year. He also conducted blood donation camps, medical camps.

Recent Activities:

• Legislator Shri Kilari Roshaiah presented the Jagananna Educational Gift to the students on 08-10-2020.
• Recently, Koppuraju Shiva Shankara Rao of Koppuravuru village in the Pedakakani zone died of an accidental electric shock while on duty as a lineman. MLA Venkata Roshaiya addressed the family and expressed his condolences to them.
• MLA Kilari Venkata Roshaiya said that they are committed to the development of all the villages in the Ponnur constituency. He said roads, side drains, and infrastructure would be provided keeping in view the needs of the people in the villages.
