Kethi Reddy Suresh Reddy

MLA, MP, Choutpally, Kammarpally, Nizamabad, Telagana, TRS.

Kethi Reddy Suresh Reddy is a Member of Parliament(MP) of Rajya Sabha, Telangana. He was born in 1959 to Govind Reddy(Late) in Choutpally. He completed his graduation with a Bachelor of Arts from Osmania University Nizam College, Hyderabad in 1980. Basically, he hails from an Agriculture family.

He started his political journey with the Indian National Congress(INC) party. He started his career as Mandal Youth President in 1984. Suresh Reddy has a political career spanning nearly two decades and he elected four-time Indian National Congress(INC) MLA from the Balkonda assembly constituency(1989,1994,1999,2004).

He was appointed as Library Committee Chairman of the Assembly from 1990-1993. In 1997, He worked as Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee, and he also served as the Congress Party Whip from 2000-2003.

Suresh Reddy appointed as Director of Andhra Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation.  He served as in Incharge of Armoor Constituency(INC), Nizamabad District. From 2004-2009, he became Speaker of the 12th Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly. He was the first person from the Nizamabad district to act as Speaker.

In 2018, He joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) party. He was the Member of the Standing Committee of the All India Presiding Officers, regional representative of the India Region.

He served as a Member of the Indian Region Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Executive Committee. He was the President of the Andhra Pradesh branch of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association. He was the Member of the Committee on Estimates. He worked as a Member of the Cricket Association of Telangana. He was elected as Member of Parliament(MP) to the Rajya Sabha in the 2020 Rajya Sabha elections.
