KC Chennaiah is the Mala Mahanadu and State President of Andhra Pradesh.
Early life and Education:
KC Chennaiah was born to the couple Mr. Koppera Krishna Murthy and Mrs. Koppera Prakshamma and resided in the S Nagulavaram Village of Gospadu Mandal in Nandyala District in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
He completed his 7th Standard at the Government High School located in Nehru Nagar.
Professional Life:
Since childhood, he has been farming with his mother and father and simultaneously handling his family’s responsibilities.
A Career in Community:
In 1993, Chennaiah joined the Mala Mahanadu with great zeal and the desire to serve people by addressing their problems and solving them.
In 1993, he improved his work ethic by becoming the Village President of S Nagulavaram. By doing his job well and according to the law, he helped improve society.
He was appointed as the Mala Mahanadu Mandal President of Gospadu and continuously worked for the well-being, community development, and striving hard for the benefit of society from 1996-1999.
He strived constantly for the welfare of the people and expressing his feelings of service, he provided a kind of encouragement with a passion for serving the people as the Nandyala Divison President in 1999 and has been doing so in the past with gratitude and tirelessly fighting for the well-being of society.
Later, Chennaiah was appointed and took leadership of the District President of Kurnool in 1999, and he serves in the designation.
In a flash of time, i.e., 2004, he was elected as the State Joint Secretary of Andhra Pradesh and has constantly worked for the people, thinking about their welfare, and gained immense admiration from the people.
For his impressive performance during the course of his services, Chennaiah was designated as the State General Secretary of Andhra Pradesh in 2006 and has served in the position quarterly with gratitude and perpetually working hard for the well-being of society.
His persistent attention and selfless dedication towards the service made him promoted to the National Secretary in 2009 to promote the right perspective in people about the need for holistic and sustainable development by doing his part to alleviate the villager’s hardships.
Since 2013, he has been in the position of State Mala Mahanadu President of Andhra Pradesh, working in the position by doing his part for the betterment of society by carrying out his duties properly and following the rules and regulations.
Since the beginning, he has worked hard for the good of the people and the growth of the party and society. In the positions he has held, he has been of great help to society.
Community Activities:
- He fought and solved the issues regarding house schemes, pensions, ration cards, health cards, and also the issue relating to Aadhar cards.
- He played an active role and raised his voice to ensure welfare schemes for poor people and help them survive their lives.
- He accompanied many Mandal-level party meetings in the town and also organized party membership programs. Many party development programs were carried out in the village to grow the party.
- Chennaiah has participated in a variety of community activities in the village, and he has supplied meals to the elderly and orphan children, as well as delivered mineral water to the villagers.

- Being a member of a scheduled caste and having vast knowledge about the problems of the downtrodden, Chennaiah strives to effectively serve the downtrodden communities, to put the best of their efforts into improving the living conditions for the upliftment of backward people (ST and SC people), to work hard for the as lighting socio-economic development of the downtrodden, and to contribute the maximum in drawing more and more strength from weaker sections towards the party to further strengthen the ST and SC people.
Social Activities:
- He is involved in many social activities like Harithaharam, Palle Pragathi, Swachh Bharath Programs, and helping poor people in his village, as well as lighting development activities like CC Roads, Drainage, Street Lights, and Water Problems in his village.
- Conducted many party meetings and development activities for community development. He stood up for the poor and ensured the development of welfare. He always raises his hands to serve the poor.
- Chennaiah financially assisted the poor people in the village and also helped them in all possible ways when needed.
- Money was donated to the families of the poor during the wedding to support their families financially. He assisted the death-affected family financially for their survival.
- If anyone in the village encounters any problem, he will be at the forefront of the problem. He will assist those who come to him for help and provide the essential things they require.
Pandemic Services:
- To spread awareness about social distancing and the precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic, an awareness program has been conducted.
- Food item packets were distributed to drivers and migrant laborers, whose livelihoods have been affected during this lockdown period.
- He came forward with humanity to help those in dire straits during the corona and provide financial assistance to the people who are affected by the lockdown.
- As part of the drive to eradicate the corona epidemic, sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for safety of the village. Chennaiah also provided free masks and sanitizers to people with corona deficiency symptoms at the hospital.
- He worked all day (day and night) during the COVID period and looked after the people. He is constantly available, mainly to the poorest people in the zone.
