I am Kathoju Vinod Kumar, a servant of the people, an advocate for education, and a relentless crusader for social equity and progress. My journey is not merely an individual pursuit but a collective mission—a mission to empower, uplift, and transform lives through education, governance, and unwavering public service.

Born in the heart of B. Annaram, Nalgonda District, Telangana, I was raised with the values of selfless service, integrity, and perseverance. My parents, Shri Kathoju Bikshama Chary and Smt. Kathoju Swathi, instilled in me the ethos of public service, shaping my resolve to dedicate my life to the welfare of our people.

My educational journey, spanning from Zilla Parishad High School to Mahatma Gandhi University, cultivated in me a deep passion for learning and teaching, propelling me toward an academic leadership role. As Vice Principal of esteemed institutions and the Founder of KVR Institutes, I have worked tirelessly to enhance educational accessibility, modernize curricula, and nurture young minds, ensuring that knowledge remains the most formidable tool for social transformation.

However, education alone cannot address the vast socio-economic inequalities we face. It was this realization that drove me toward public administration and grassroots activism. My political journey commenced with BC Sangam, where I ardently fought for the empowerment of the Backward Classes, ensuring equitable access to resources and representation. My tenure as a Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituency (MPTC) Member and my association with Congress under the leadership of Shri Revanth Reddy further refined my vision of progressive governance and inclusive policy making.

On November 23, 2024, I embarked on a new political chapter by joining the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) under the guidance of Shri. Chinthi Reddy, Shri. Srinivas Reddy, and Shri. Nallamothu Sidharth, with the unwavering support of my native people in B. Annaram. This decision was not driven by personal ambition but by an unshakable commitment to grassroots development, social justice, and economic empowerment. I firmly believe that governance must transcend political affiliations and focus solely on serving the people, fostering economic resilience, and building a prosperous Telangana.

Beyond politics, my philanthropic initiatives have remained an intrinsic part of my journey. Through the KVR Foundation, I have supported underprivileged students, sponsored athletes, facilitated healthcare access, and organized social welfare programs. Whether it is enrolling children in schools, arranging ration cards and pensions, conducting medical camps, or providing essential supplies, my mission has always been to eradicate suffering and create avenues for a dignified life.

The COVID-19 pandemic tested the resilience of our society, but it also reinforced the power of collective action. During this crisis, I took it upon myself to arrange emergency medical aid, distribute food and essentials, organize sanitization drives, and stand by those who lost their loved ones. When many hesitated, I stepped forward to perform last rites for the abandoned, distribute masks to frontline workers, and offer unwavering assistance to the affected families. These experiences further solidified my belief that true leadership is defined by action, sacrifice, and unwavering compassion.

As I continue this journey, my vision remains steadfast—to build a society where education is a right, not a privilege; where healthcare is accessible to all, not a luxury; where economic growth is inclusive, not selective; and where governance is accountable, not self-serving. My purpose is not just to hold office but to ignite transformation, empower the marginalized, and work towards an equitable and prosperous future for Telangana.

Early beginnings & Education of Shri. Kathoju Vinod Kumar

Shri Kathoju Vinod Kumar was born on January 1, 1995, in B. Annaram, a village in the Nalgonda district of Telangana State. Coming from a family with a strong tradition of public service, he inherited a deep sense of duty and commitment toward the welfare of the people. He is the son of Kathoju Bikshama Chary and Kathoju Swathi, whose values and dedication to community service have significantly influenced his journey. From an early age, Vinod Kumar has been devoted to serving society, striving to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those around him.

Kathoju Vinod Kumar’s academic journey commenced in his native village of B. Annaram, nestled in the Nalgonda district of Telangana. He laid the foundation of his education at Zilla Parishad High School in Annaram, where he completed his Secondary School Certificate (SSC).

Building upon this, he pursued his intermediate education at Saketha Junior College in Miryalaguda, Nalgonda, further shaping his academic aspirations. His passion for science led him to Vijaitha Degree College in Miryalaguda, where he earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree with a specialization in BZC.

Continuing his pursuit of knowledge, he further specialized in organic chemistry, completing his Master of Science (M.Sc.) at Vijaitha College, which is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda. Through his academic endeavors, Vinod Kumar developed a strong foundation in the field of science, which continues to complement his dedication to public service.

Founder – KVR Foundation: Empowering Education & Sports (Since-2024)
Driven by his deep commitment to social welfare and educational empowerment, Shri Kathoju Vinod Kumar founded the KVR Foundation in 2024, a non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting students and providing them with opportunities to excel in both academics and sports. Shri Kathoju Vinod Kumar comes from a family deeply rooted in public service and political engagement. His father, Shri Kathoju Bikshama Chary, was an active leader who dedicated himself to the welfare of the people through his association with the Indian National Congress (INC). Inspired by his father’s commitment to the community, Vinod Kumar was drawn toward politics and social service from an early age.

Joining the Indian National Congress (INC) 

Following in his father’s footsteps, Shri Vinod Kumar actively engaged in politics by joining the Indian National Congress (INC). His deep understanding of the people’s concerns and his passion for development led him to become an influential figure within the party. Through his tenure in Congress, he worked closely with various leaders and grassroots workers to address local and regional issues, focusing on public welfare, development projects, and youth empowerment.

Tenure & Withdrawal as MPTC (Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituency Member)
Vinod Kumar was elected as an MPTC, where he played a key role in addressing civic concerns, infrastructure development, and welfare programs in his constituency. However, due to strategic political decisions and evolving circumstances, he later chose to withdraw from the MPTC role while continuing his commitment to public service in different capacities.

Collaboration with Revanth Reddy’s Leadership Team
During his tenure with Congress, Shri Vinod Kumar has worked closely with Shri Revanth Reddy, Chief Minister of Telangana and the President of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC). His collaboration with Revanth Reddy’s team allowed him to actively participate in strategic planning, grassroots mobilization, and political campaigns. Srinivas Reddy, and Shri. Nallamothu Sidharth, Shri Chitti Babu Nayak. This momentous occasion took place in the presence of the people of his native village, B. Annaram, marking a new chapter in his political and social journey.

• Between 2019 and 2020, during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, he worked tirelessly to ensure that those in need had access to essential medical services, including arranging consultations, coordinating hospital admissions, and facilitating the distribution of medicines and supplies. His proactive approach significantly alleviated the struggles faced by many families during this unprecedented crisis.
  
• In response to the lockdown measures, Vinod Kumar organized Annadanam programs to provide free meals to individuals and families in need.
