Kashi Baswaraj Patel

Kashi Baswaraj Patel is the TRS Senior Leader from Raipalle, Raikode Mandal. He was born on 10th May 1985 to Kasi Sangapa Patel.

Education Background:

In 2000, Baswaraj Patel earned his Board of Secondary Education at ZP high school, Sangareddy. He received Intermediate from Nagarjuna junior college located at Sangareddy in 2002. In 2005, Basavaraj Patel attained his Graduation(Degree) from Government degree college, Zaheerabad. He acquired his Master’s (MA) from Osmania University.

Basically, he hails from an Agricultural family.

A career in Politics:

In 2009, Baswaraj Patel started his political career with the Telangana Rashtra Samiti(TRS).

Telangana Movement:

The Telangana movement refers to a movement for the creation of a new state, Telangana, from the pre-existing state of Andhra Pradesh in India. After several years of protest and agitation, the central government, under the United Progressive Alliance, decided to bifurcate the existing Andhra Pradesh state, and on 07-February-2014, the Union Cabinet unilaterally cleared the bill for the creation of Telangana. Lasting for almost a decade, this has been one of the most long-lasting movements in South India. In 2002, Kamalakar played an active role during the late 2000s Telangana Separate State Movement spearheaded by now-CM, K.Chandrashekar Rao.

Baswaraj Patel took part in Hunger Strikes, Rally, Protest Programs, Chalo Hyderabad, Million March, Vanta-Varpu, Bike Rallies, as a part of the Telangana Movement.

He was appointed and served as Mandal Youth President of Raikode in 2014. Although growing politically, on the one hand, is working hard for the welfare of the people with the positions assigned to him simultaneously working as a Social Activist to be closer in terms of service to the people on the other.

Baswaraj continues to be the Youth Leader of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi Sangareddy district and serves as a senior movement leader and leader in the Raikod zone.

TRS Party Activities:

• Zaheerabad MP Bibi Patil’s birthday was celebrated by cutting a cake at the premises of the local Central SC and BC Boys’ Welfare Homes under the patronage of Induri Krishna, District Vice President, Youth Committee.
• Chanti Kranti Kiran’s victory as Andol MLA with a huge majority was celebrated by the TRS leaders in Raipalli in the constituency by blowing up posters. On the occasion, Mandal TRS Party Youth President Baswaraj Patel thanked the Mandal leaders for electing Kranti Kiran as MLA with a huge majority.
• Party zone president Virareddy called on the party leaders and activists of the respective villages to take part in the victory rally to be held in Jogipeta and express their happiness over the victory of Terasa candidate Chanti Kranti Kiran from Andol.

Social Service to be a TRS Leader:

• Baswaraj Patel protests and holds dharnas against the decisions taken by the government against the people and seeks justice for the people.
• He has actively participated in the programs like Harithaharam, and Swachh Bharath.
• He organized the blood camp and medical camp in the village and donated the blood for the needy people.
• Baswaraj financially assisted the poor people in the village and also helped them in all possible ways when needed.
• He fought and solved the issues like pensions, Ration cards, Health cards, and also the issues relating to Aadhar cards.
• He provided his financial support to the poor people in the village and also donated a certain amount to the merit students for their higher education.
• He conducted Village development activities in the village like laying of CC Roads, Digging of Borewells, Putting up Street Lights, Clearance of Drainage systems, and Solving water Problems.
• Distributed food and clothing to the Orphan Children and helped them by donating a certain amount whenever required.
• Conducted many party meetings and development activities for community development.
• He stood up for the poor and ensured the development of welfare. He always raises his hands to serve the poor.
• Baswaraj demanded that the government issue notifications quickly and protect the unemployed from suicide.

Service During the Pandemic Covid-19:

-Baswaraj served even during the Pandemic time. He distributes Covid kits to the Raipalle village people.

-He provided essential commodities, Masks, Sanitizers to the village and poor people.

-Provided food packets, water bottles to the migrants, arranges buses to go to their villages.

-Conducted awareness programs to prevent Covid-19.

-Gave financial assistance to Covid-19 victims.

-He provided free food service to the municipal, police, front-line workers who worked a lot during Pandemic Covid-19.

-Distributes Rice, Vegetables to the Masks, Sanitizers to the Covid victims, and to the village people.

-He says covid-19 can be conquered with courage and corona victims should not lose courage.

-Baswaraj served during the Second Wave of Covid also. He provided a packet of rice, pulihora, water packets, Masks, Sanitizers during the lockdown time to the poor and the elderly who live near the parks on the road cannot find anything to eat.

-He donates food and clothes to poor and orphaned children during the Second Wave Corona and satisfies the hunger of many orphans.

-Baswaraj would bring oxygen cylinders to the areas where Covid victims were being treated.
