Karanam Subrahmanyam is a Social Activist and Indian Politician with the JSP. He is also a Member of the East Godavari District Organizing Committee in the state of Andhra Pradesh and the Founder and Chairman of Swayam Krishi Yuvatha (స్వయం కృషి యువత) in Kathipudi, Sankhavaram, East Godavari, AP.

Early Life and Education:

On November 14th, 1983, Karanam Subrahmanyam was born to the couple, Mr. Karanam Thrimurthulu and Mrs. Karanam Ramanamma. He was raised in the Kathipudi village of Sankhavaram, East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh.

In 2001, Karanam Subrahmanyam completed his Board of Secondary Education from Zilla Parishad High School situated at Kathipudi in Sankhavaram of East Godavari in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

A career in Politics:

Subrahmanyam entered politics at a young age in 2009 via the Praja Rajyam Party, motivated by the party’s founder and Tollywood Actor, Mr. Chiranjeevi’s feeling of duty and enthusiasm for helping the people.

As a Party Activist of PRP, he has gone above and beyond his means to promote the party and benefit society by carrying out his duties appropriately and according to the party’s rules and regulations.

Subrahmanyam indicated a strong desire to participate in the PRP. He carried out each activity in accordance with a code of conduct and for the recognition of the appropriate party.

Subrahmanyam was chosen as PRP Mandal Vice President in 2010 due to his devotion and commitment to the people of the East Godavari district. He has never stopped representing the people, caring for their well-being, and gaining great popular acclaim.

In 2014, Subrahmanyam switched from the PRP to the Janasena Party (JSP). He did this because he was moved by the party’s founder, Tollywood actor Pawan Kaylan, and his desire to help people.

He was appointed as the Constituency Sevadal Coordinator of Prathipadu by the JSP in 2017 to serve the people and address concerns highlighted by his efficient carrying out of duties according to the party’s rules and procedures.

Party authorities elected him as the Janabata Program President from West Godavari in 2018 for his honesty and engagement in all activities and tasks.

He ramped up his service and effort by accepting the position of Parliament Committee Member of Kakinada in 2018, JSP. To provide care for the people and the difficulties they face, and he worked in that capacity.

He has been serving as the JSP District Organizing Committee Member of East Godavari since 2021 for his work humbly towards the progress and welfare of the people by offering services to the people by meeting the necessities of everyone who has appealed to him for aid.

A career in the Community:

Subrahmanyam joined the Ramcharan Youth Association in 2009 and began his contribution to the community as a member by resolving difficulties with the help of the community.

The community chose him as the Mandal President of Sankhavaram from the Ramcharan Youth Association in 2009 for his honesty and commitment in all activities, and he fulfilled his obligations under the post.

A career in Social Life:

Subrahmanyam has been serving since he was a child. He had a strong desire to work in public since he was a youngster. He participated in various voluntary efforts after finishing his degree. He has worked as a Social Activist, taking part in welfare and development efforts, as well as awareness campaigns to help the people of society.

In order to help people in any way possible, they founded Swayam Krishi Yuvatha (స్వయం కృషి యువత ) in 2008 and serve as the Founder & Chairman& President of the respective foundation to help people in any way possible by leading himself when they were in difficulty, and his pure sense of humor turned him into a great man with humanity.

Primary Objective: The Foundation’s primary aim is to support and help individuals in need in any manner possible. The Foundation is dedicated to making a substantial difference in people’s lives. It aims to “The only way to serve God is to serve others” in all aspects.

As a Social Worker, he helps society by raising awareness among the poor via creative livelihood activities, aiming for a corrupt-free society, and maintaining order and accountability in all acts aimed at uplifting the weaker sectors.

Vision: Currently Foundation wants to develop the village and serve the people, the elderly, and the homeless in their area so that everyone can live.

Activities on behalf of Swayam Krishi Yuvatha:

• During the summer season, Chalivendram was established to offer residents and tourists cool drinking water.
• Subrahmanyam arranged a number of blood donation camps, health camps, and eye camps to give villagers free health care.
• He also organized the activities and distributed the awards at the Ugadi festival.
• With the intention of no student becoming illiteracy due to lack of money, Subrahmanyam provided financial assistance for the Students.
• Distributed Books, pads, and Stationery things to High School Students and motivates them to score high marks.
• He distributed fruits and medicines to the unhealthy village people and needy people in the Hospital.
• Many service activities were organized such as blankets for beggars, clothes for the poor, and food for orphaned children, and helped a lot financially for the migrant workers and the poor. Free meals were provided to orphans.
• Subrahmanyam was primarily concerned with matters about students, such as fee reimbursement, and worked tirelessly to guarantee that students received scholarships swiftly.
• He also provided the government school’s drinking water facilities.

Party Activities:

• He briefed the youth on the development programs being carried out by the Janasena Party and encouraged the youth to join the party by informing them that the Janasena Party has decided to do zero-budget politics.
• He Organises Party programs by the JSP. He conveyed to the people the greatness of the Party all over the constituency.
• He will work for the party day and night to constantly strengthen the party at the field level and is always fighting with the government over the problems facing the people and working hard for a solution.
• He responds to any grievances the people in the village raise, brings them to the notice of the concerned authorities or ministers and works towards a speedy solution.
• He also took part in the GoodMorningCM Sir program, the Janabata Program, the Janavani program, and several more programs.

Social Services:

• Subrahmanyam participated in village development activities like repairing roads, digging borewells, erecting street lights, clearing drainage systems, and resolving water problems.
• As a part of Environmental Protection, he has taken an active role by participating in the Palle Pragathi and Clean and Green by casting the plants in the village.
• He financially assisted the poor people in the village and also helped them in all possible ways when needed.
• With the intention of no student being illiterate due to lack of money, Subrahmanyam provided financial support to the poor people in the village and also donated a certain amount to the meritorious students for their higher education.
• Every year, Subrahmanyam visits orphan homes as it marks the birth anniversary of Tollywood Actor and Indian Politician Pawan Kalyan and the Mega Star Family, and he delivers meals, fruits, and many more essential requirements for orphans.
• Many party development programs were carried out in the village for the growth of the party and he respectably accepts the work assigned by the higher authorities and is completely involved in sorting out the issues raised on any topics.

Pandemic Services:

• Subrahmanyam sneaked towards helping those impacted by the lockdown by distributing vegetables and fruits to villagers, the needy, and Municipality personnel while abiding by the precautions.
• He distributed masks, sanitizers, food to the impoverished, and financial assistance.
• An awareness program has been conducted to spread awareness about social distancing and following precautionary measures to prevent the Epidemic of Corona
• Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for the town’s safety as part of the drive to eradicate the corona epidemic.
• He looked after the people and was constantly available, mainly to the poorest people in the zone. He rushed to the hospital with the corona-affected people and admitted them after consulting the doctor.
• During the worldwide lockdown, Subrahmanyam assisted people by providing meals to them after following specific precautionary measures.
