Karanam Dharmasri

Karanam Dharmasri is the MLA of Chodavaram Constituency, Visakhapatnam Dist. He was born in 1974 to Visvanadham in Anedenpunam.

He completed his Graduate B.A. in 1989, B.L in 1992, B.Ed in 1993 from Andhra University. He worked as an Advocate.

He has started his Political Journey with the Congress Party and was the Active Leader. From 2004-2009, He was the Served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Chodavaram Constituency from the Congress Party, Andhra Pradesh.

In 2014, He contested as MLA from Chodavaram Constituency, but he lost the post of MLA. He joined the YSRCP and was the Senior Leader.

In 2019, He elected as a Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Chodavaram Constituency, Visakhapatnam Dist from the YSRCP.

Recent Activities:

• MLA Dharma Sri Gari handed over Rs.1000 / – to the poor who have a Komalapudi ration card.
• Chodavaram MLA Karanam Dharmashree distributed essential commodities to the poor in Padalapalem, Lagudu Kothuru, and Velankayalapalem villages in the Rolgunta zone.
• MLA Karanam Dharmashree distributed essential items to households in Rolgunta JP Agraharam. MLA Dharmashree asked the employed laborers to follow the social distance at work.
• The legislators visited the Goa Co-operative Sugar Factory and then utilized the funds recently given by the Government of Andhra Pradesh to strengthen the Sugar Factory. Arrears due to farmers on time. In such a way that the workers working in the factory are paid the total wages without any arrears in wages. The legislator is Shri Karanam Dharmashree.
