Kanumala Prasadu

Kanumala Prasadu is the State General Secretary of MBC Welfare Society from Andhra Pradesh. He intends to do his bit to help the nation and the people, no matter how little his contribution may be.
Born and Education:
He was born on 15-February-1986 in Velapamuru. In 2000, Prasadu studied SSC from ZPHS, Velapamuru. From 2001-2003, he earned Intermediate at Neelam Sanjiva Reddy junior college, Veligodu.
Service through MBC Welfare Society:
In 2013, Prasadu joined the MBC Welfare Society and has done many welfare activities through the organization. He was promoted as State General Secretary of MBC Welfare Society from Andhra Pradesh in 2018 and currently serving in the position.
The MBC Welfare Society’s primary goal is to assist individuals from all walks of life, regardless of caste, creed, or gender, in any circumstance.
Chief Secretary Prasadu handed over a petition to sub-collector Kalpana Kumari seeking distribution of government lands in the village to the poor. Prasad said that even after submitting the petition to the Collector some revenue officials were doing injustice to the villagers by not following the orders given by the Collector.
In the Gani village, some members of the MBC welfare society make a living by driving an auto. They decided to provide free services to pregnant women in the village. They are providing free services to pregnant women for a year and set up 4 autos to carry them.
Following in the footsteps of Savatribai Poole, who fought for the education and growth of women, the MBC Welfare
Society launched some service programs.
→ Honoring auto drivers who provide free travel for pregnant women.
→ Financially assisting orphanages.
→ Organizing blood donation camps.
→ Distributing food, dresses for the poor people in the village.
Demands:
1. Savitri Bai Poole’s birthday should be officially celebrated by the government.
2. Government girls’ schools should be named Savitri Bai Poole.
3. Savitri Bai Poole’s birthday should be declared Teachers’ Day.
4. The biographies of Savitri Boy Poole and Jyothi Rao Poole should be included in the textbooks.
5. Bharat Ratna should be given to Jyothi Rao Poole and Savitri Boy Poole.
Social Service:
-Prasadu has performed many developmental programs and social activities for the welfare of the Gani people.
-He fights over the problems of the people, for the welfare of the people.
-Gave support to the poor people by providing food, money, basic necessities.
-He helped the death-affected family in the village by providing the basic essentials to them for survival and also assisted them during financial crises.
-Prasadu fight over every issue raised in the town and persistently worked to solve the issues.
-He distributed food, clothing, and Bedsheets to the Orphan Children and helped them by donating a certain amount.
-Engaged in Haritha Haram, Swachh Bharath programs as part of Environment Protection.
-Prasadu is always at the forefront in doing Social Service.
Pandemic Services:
-Prasadu gave his contribution even during the covid crisis.
-During the Pandemic Period, he distributed fruits, food packets, and water bottles to the road siders and also distributed blankets to them.
-He provided food and rice bags to the migrants and also contributed to them financially.
-Provided annadhanam program to the Police, Municipal, front-line workers who served a lot during the corona crisis.
-Conducted awareness programs on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.
-He financially helped covid victims by providing vitamin tablets, masks, Sanitizers, and fruits.
-Prasadu put his effort to serve people even during the covid second wave.
-He distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people.
-Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and about the effects of the virus.
-The area infected with the coronavirus has been declared a red zone and people have been given proper precautions and instructions.
-Delivered food, supplements for the covid victims by home delivery.
