Academic Journey: Building a Strong Technical Foundation

Kandi Shravan Kumar Reddy pursued a structured and disciplined path of higher education that blended academic excellence with strong technical proficiency. In 2010, he earned his B.Tech in Computer Science from Guru Nanak Engineering College, Hyderabad, acquiring comprehensive expertise in computational logic, system design, problem-solving methodologies, and advanced engineering principles.

He advanced to his Intermediate studies at Narayana Junior College in 2006, a phase that sharpened his analytical mindset and ignited a keen fascination with scientific and engineering concepts. His academic foundation was built through secondary schooling at Saint Joseph’s High School, Ramanthapur, completed in 2004, where core values of orderliness, intellectual curiosity, and disciplined learning were deeply instilled.

Early Association with Indian National Congress (Pre-1980)
Even before formally contesting elections, Kandi Agi Reddy joined the Indian National Congress well before 1980. Uppal Municipality Councillor – INC (1988–1993)
In 1988, Agi Reddy successfully contested and was elected as Councillor from Uppal Municipality on the Indian National Congress ticket. Returning to active electoral politics, Kandi Agi Reddy was elected as Councillor from Uppal Municipality in 2000. Between 2009 – 2015, Agi Reddy was appointed as Vice Chairman of Gaddi Annaram Market Committee. Kandi Shravan Kumar Reddy’s foray into student politics began during his college and university years when he actively aligned himself with the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) in 2013

In 2018 he led to the Position as Malkajgiri Parliament Secretary from IYC. He extended services to strengthen the Youth COngress Organization under the dynamic leadership of AICC President Sri. Rahul Gandhi, IYC President Sri Keshav Chand ji, TPYC President Shri. From 22 October 2019 to 03 December 2021, Kandi Shravan Kumar Reddy’s outstanding performance, consistent hard work, and unwavering loyalty to the organisation led to his well-deserved elevation within the Indian Youth Congress. He was appointed as the Working President of Uppal Constituency, a key leadership position that entrusted him with the responsibility of guiding and strengthening the youth wing’s activities in the area.

Elevation to Youth Congress Medchal-Malkajgiri District Youth Congress President (04 December 2020 to 25 December 2024)
From 04 December 2020 to 25 December 2024, he was appointed as the Youth Congress Medchal-Malkajgiri District Youth Congress President in Telangana. In this role, he worked to strengthen the Congress Party’s presence in the region, focusing on mobilizing support among diverse communities.
