Kanchi Jyothi Prasad

Kanchi Jyothi Prasad is the Sarpanch of Gudapur Village, Munugode Mandal, Nalgonda District.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION:

Jyoti Prasad was born on 10th September 1980 at Kethepally Village to the couple Sugunamma and Lurdaiah. She completed her Post Graduation from RKLK Women’s College, Suryapet in 2003.

PROFESSIONAL LIFE:

Jyothi Prasad married Nagendra Prasad in 2004. After marriage, she started her professional career as a Teacher at Sunshine High School, Chandur in 2010 and Jyothi resigned from her teaching post in 2018.

 CAREER IN POLITICS:

In 2019, Jyothi started her political journey with the TRS(Telangana Rashtra Samithi) Party and was the Active Member.

During the period of local body elections in 2019, Jyothi Prasad was elected as the Village Sarpanch of Gudapur Village, Nalgonda District by the TRS Party to look after the welfare of the people in the village.

Party Activities:

• Jyothi Prasad was very helpful in campaigning for the contesting candidate during the elections and was the main reason for the candidate to win the contest.
• She Participated very enthusiastically during the election and briefly explained the rules of the party to every single voter and worked hard for the victory of the party.
• She is in complete opposition to the state government repealing new agricultural laws and other beneficial elements that will serve the survival of farmers.
• She was briefing the people on the welfare schemes introduced by the government for the upliftment of the backward classes through a mobilization Program.
• An awareness seminar was organized on behalf of the party in the village and the zone to brief the people on the welfare schemes and pamphlets were distributed to give them brief information.
• Many District level and State level party development programs were carried out in the village for the growth of the party also organized Party Membership Programs were.

Social Activities:

• Under the auspices of TRS, Every year on the Birth Anniversary of the TRS Party Founder KCR, a blood donation camp was organized and also donated blood to the needy people.
• She has been serving as a boon to students from the weaker sections of society by providing them with financial assistance and accomodation fees for their entire course.
• Jyothi Prasad has been fighting with the government to provide proper employment to the unemployed who are worried about getting a proper job even after graduation.
• She mainly focused on issues related to students like Fee reimbursement and worked hard to ensure that scholarships were granted to students immediately.
• Jyothi Prasad conducted the Swachh Bharat Program with the slogan “One step towards cleanliness” to focus on improving cleanliness and hygiene in urban and rural areas, workplaces, and residences.
• Jyothi Prasad has taken an active interest in environmental protection by participating in the Haritha Haram Program and casting the plants in the community.
• Jyothi Prasad is always seeking and contending for the people’s well-being. He will aid people who come to him for assistance and provide people with the necessities they desire.

Services Rendered During The Pandemic Covid:

• During the first and second waves of Corona, Jyothi Prasad assisted those who were affected by the lockdown by offering financial and humanitarian aid.
• Jyothi Prasad moved forward with humanity to assist people in distress during the corona and to provide additional aid to those affected by the lockdown.
• She apportioned Masks, Sanitizers, and food to the poor and also contributed to them financially.
