Early Life and Education 

 

Kadhuri Achaiah: A Journey of Learning and Growth

Born on May 10, 1974, Kadhuri Achaiah spent his formative years in the village of Yadagirigutta, nestled in the Indian state of Telangana. From an early age, he demonstrated a thirst for knowledge and a determination to excel in his studies.

Educational Pursuits

In 1990, Kadhuri Achaiah embarked on his educational journey by completing his Secondary Board of Education at Zilla Parishad High School in Alair, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Telangana. He laid a strong foundation for his academic pursuits at this esteemed institution.

1993 he furthered his educational aspirations by obtaining his MPC (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) qualification from Government Junior College in Alair. This milestone marked his continued commitment to academic excellence and personal growth.

In 2013, Kadhuri Achaiah realized his educational goals by earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Kakathiya University in Telangana. This achievement underscored his dedication to lifelong learning and his unwavering determination to acquire knowledge to pursue his dreams.

Early Engagement in Politics: In 1986, Kadhuri Achaiah’s foray into politics commenced with his affiliation with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Alair, Telangana. This marked the beginning of his lifelong commitment to public service, driven by a passion for addressing the needs of his community and fostering social change.

Transition to Mainstream Politics: As his involvement in political activities grew, Kadhuri Achaiah’s dedication and leadership qualities became evident. In 1991, he was elected as the Vice President of Government Junior College, a testament to his popularity and grassroots support. Subsequently, he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), inspired by the party’s principles and vision for societal development.

  • Supportive Initiatives: Since 2019, arrangements have been made to provide food facilities for activists and leaders attending sanction classes in the Alair constituency. These programs, held in Alair and Yadagirigutta, aim to support and nourish participants.

Telangana Movement: Empowering Youth and Mobilizing Support

During the Telangana movement from 2002 to 2016, significant strides were made in mobilizing youth and garnering support for the cause. TRS blocks were established across all towns in Yadagirigutta Mandal, igniting enthusiasm among the younger generation and integrating them into the party’s movement for Telangana statehood.

Kuruma Sangam organized Telangana Bonalu, marking a significant cultural event during the movement. Notably, the closure of roads in Wangapally village with goats symbolized a unique expression of solidarity and determination, showcasing the community’s unwavering commitment to the Telangana cause.

The Telangana movement witnessed a series of impactful protests, including bandhs, dharnas, and people’s strikes, aimed at amplifying the voices of the masses and demanding statehood. Despite facing multiple arrests, the resilience of the movement remained steadfast, with a large number of people actively participating in Mahasabha gatherings to demonstrate unity and resolve.

Empowering BC Communities: Advocacy and Support

Since 2009, concerted efforts have been made to advocate for the rights of BCs (Backward Classes) in the Alair Constituency through the BC Welfare Association. Meetings have been organized to sensitize the community and raise awareness about their entitlements and privileges.

Campaigning for Rights: Dharnas and Rallies

In 2010, campaigns were launched advocating for various rights of BCs, including fee reimbursements and an increase in reservation from 25% to 50%. Under the leadership of Jantar Mantar R Krishnaiah, protests, including dharnas, rallies, and the siege of Parliament, were held from 2009 to 2012 to amplify BC voices and present petitions to key government officials.

Political Participation: Mobilizing Votes

In 2009, Kadhuri Achaiah contested for the Alair Assembly, highlighting the need for increased BC representation in Parliament and Assembly. Through mobilization efforts, approximately 2,500 votes were cast in favor of BC candidates during the MLA election, marking a significant step towards political empowerment.

Supporting RTC Employees: Community Solidarity

In 2017, the BC community in Bhuvanagiri organized a dharna to support sit-ins and protests by RTC employees, demonstrating solidarity and advocating for the safety of Telangana RTC workers. Additionally, initiatives such as cooking programs and provision of food facilities were undertaken to support employees at RTC Depot Yadagirigutta.

Cultural and Social Initiatives

The BC movement has actively participated in cultural events, such as the unveiling of the Jyoti Rao Pule statue in 2017, commemorating the contributions of prominent figures like Ambedkar and Swami Vivekananda. These events serve to honor their legacies and inspire future generations to pursue their aspirations.

Community Welfare: Support and Assistance

In 2018, BC Sanghas extended support to impoverished BC Kuruma families, providing financial assistance, rice, and other essentials in times of need. Additionally, initiatives such as offering rice or financial aid for weddings and providing rice to underprivileged children on their first birthdays reflect a commitment to supporting the welfare of BC communities.

“Advocacy and Activism: Kamari Acchaiah’s Commitment to Farmer Welfare and Social Justice”

  • Formation of Samyukta Kisan Morcha: Established in November 2020, the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) represents a coalition of more than forty Indian farmers’ unions, unified in their pursuit of coordinated satyagraha.
  • State-Level Training Initiatives: In 2020, Kisan Morcha organized state-level training sessions in Yadagirigutta, Yadadri Bonagiri district, where leaders such as PV Shyam Sundar, Dasari Mallesham, Racha Srinivas, and Kamari Acchaiah provided lunch to participants.
  • Participation in Protests: Throughout 2021, SKM responded to calls from central and state governments, participating in sit-ins and bind-overs on multiple occasions to assert farmers’ demands and grievances.
  • Confrontation with Authorities: In a demonstration of protest, SKM members, including Kamari Acchaiah, surrounded the state agriculture commissioner with armed forces, highlighting their determination to secure farmers’ rights. Kamari Acchaiah was arrested twice during these protests.
  • Support for BJP Party Workers: From 2019 to 2022, Kamari Acchaiah extended support to bereaved families of deceased BJP party workers, visiting their homes and providing financial assistance during their times of need.

“Community Engagement and Philanthropic Initiatives”

Role in Dharnas and Rallies:

  • Kamari Acchaiah actively participated in numerous rallies and protests aimed at advocating for the welfare of the people, both at the village and district levels.
  • From 2021 to 2022, he led several collectorate sieges and protests addressing various public issues, including railway concerns.

Role at Ram Mandir:

  • Kamari Acchaiah fervently supported the construction of the Ram Mandir, participating in rallies and protests advocating for its realization.
  • In 2021, he contributed one lakh fifty thousand two hundred and twenty rupees towards the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, symbolizing his dedication to the cause.

Activities at Yadagirigutta:

  • In 2022, Kamari Acchaiah donated One Lakh Fifty-One Thousand Rupees for the construction of the gold gopuram of the Lord Yadhadhri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple, underscoring his commitment to religious and cultural preservation.
  • Additionally, he provided financial aid for the temple in Yadagirigutta, contributing to its maintenance and upkeep for the benefit of the local community.

Shelter to Sheep, Cattle:

  • Kamari Acchaiah extended support to Kuruma Yadava families in the Alair constituency by offering financial assistance to mitigate the impact of livestock losses.
  • During the drought in 2004, he facilitated the provision of fodder to farmers in the village, demonstrating his concern for agricultural sustainability and livelihood preservation.
  • He also oversaw the construction of a water tank in the town, aimed at providing essential resources for cattle and goats, ensuring their well-being.

Aarogyasri Cards:

  • Recognizing the importance of healthcare accessibility, Kadhuri Achaiah facilitated the distribution of Aarogyasri cards to individuals in the Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, enabling them to access quality medical services.
  • In 2019, he facilitated the issuance of forty-three ration cards to residents of the Mylarugudem village, furthering his efforts to support vulnerable communities through government schemes.

Community Development Initiatives: A Chronicle of Service

  • In 1991, a bandh was organized in Yadagirigutta by the BJP central party following the arrest of LK Advani during his padayatra for the construction of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir.
  • In 1991, residents of Yadagirigutta Mandal were informed through video presentations about the destruction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
  • From 1991 to 2000, Semya Payasam was prepared during the Kartika month, accompanied by explanations of the significance of the month and the distribution of payasam to the people.
  • Between 1996 and 2007, various community events and public services were conducted in Yadagirigutta Mandal, including resolving registration issues, organizing Rangoli competitions, cultural events, tree planting programs, and addressing public concerns.
  • From 2001 to 2006, under the Indiramma Scheme, houses were provided to residents of Saida Puram Upasarpanch and Mylar Gudem, along with completion of drainage works, new boreholes, water accommodations, and electric pole installations in three wards.
  • Kadhuri Achaiah contributed five tractors of fodder for cattle in the Yadadri Bhuvanagiri village.
  • Ration cards were distributed to forty-four individuals in the Yadadri Bhuvanagiri Mandal at Yadhagirigutta by Kadhuri Achaiah.
  • Kadhuri Achaiah provided financial assistance to beneficiaries through the two-girls scheme, with cash distributed through the post office.

He personally distributed vegetables to alleviate food insecurity and provided masks and sanitizers to ensure hygiene amidst the crisis.

    2. Support for Livestock and Wildlife: During the pandemic, Kadhuri Achaiah didn’t overlook the needs of animals. He ensured food provision for cattle and even distributed fruits to monkeys, displaying his commitment to the welfare of all beings.

    3. Widespread Relief Efforts: In 2021, as the pandemic persisted, Kadhuri Achaiah’s efforts expanded to encompass a broader spectrum of relief measures. Sanitizers were distributed across Alair Constituency, and infected individuals received meals to aid their recovery.
    4. Generous Support for Vulnerable Populations: Bearing in mind the hardships faced by beggars, Kadhuri Achaiah arranged for thirty days’ worth of provisions, including vegetables, chicken, mutton, and fish. Additionally, water packets were distributed across various locations, providing vital hydration during challenging times.
    5. Community Awareness Initiatives: Kadhuri Achaiah played a pivotal role in raising awareness about COVID-19 safety protocols. He organized sanitization drives at primary health centers and emphasized the importance of social distancing and proper hygiene practices.
    6. Continued Support Beyond the Crisis: Even after the peak of the pandemic, Kadhuri Achaiah remained dedicated to assisting those in need. He continued distributing essential supplies, including fruits and vegetables, to residents and migrants alike.
    7. Empowering Through Vaccination Awareness: Recognizing the importance of vaccination in combating the pandemic, Kadhuri Achaiah conducted awareness campaigns and seminars to educate the community about the COVID-19 vaccine and its benefits.
    8. Ensuring Safety Measures in Affected Areas: In areas designated as COVID-19 hotspots, Kadhuri Achaiah took proactive measures to inform residents about necessary safety precautions, contributing to the containment efforts in these regions.
