K.Chennakesava Reddy is a Member of the Legislative Assembly(MLA) of Yemmiganur Constituency from the YSRCP party. He was born on 01-07- 1942 to Chenna Reddy.

He has completed SSC from S.S.L.C High School, Yemmiganur. Basically, he hails from an Agricultural family.

He started his political journey with the Congress party. From 1985-1990 Vice-Chairman of Zilla Parishad, Kurnool.  He was the Ex-Director of Sri Venkateswara Veternity University. 

In 2004, in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Elections, he was won the Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) with the highest majority of 78,586 votes from the Congress party.

He elected as Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) with the highest majority of 53,766 votes in 2009 from the Congress party.

He joined the YSRCP (Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party). In 2012, in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Elections, he elected as Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) from the YSRCP.

He served as Mandal President and Council Member of APSRTC. Chennakesava Reddy is a Staunch Supporter of the YSR family.

He is one of the Senior Leaders in the Kurnool district. In 2019, he elected as a Member of the Legislative Assembly(MLA) from the YSRCP party.
