Journalist Vikram Reddy Vemula is an Indian politician, Contested MLA, and current Yuvajana and Rythu Sangam State Leader from the Indian State of Telangana.
CHILDHOOD AND EDUCATION:
On the 05th of May, 1993, Vikram Reddy was born to the couple Mr. Vemula Sukendhar Reddy & Mrs. Vemula Manamma and raised in Jaina Village of Jagtial District in the Indian State of Telangana.
In the year 2008, Vikram Reddy obtained his Secondary Board of Education from Jyothi High School, placed at Jaina, in Dharmapuri, and in 2011, he completed his Intermediate course from Sri Chaitanya Junior College in Dharmapuri, Telangana.
Later in the year 2014, he graduated with a degree from Navodaya Degree College in Dharmapuri and Vikram Reddy extended his education by acquiring his Mini Diploma in Journalism from Shatavahana University at Hyderabad in Telangana and accomplished it in 2016.
From 2015-2017, he obtained his Diploma in Crop Production and Management, at Hyderabad. In the year 2017, he acquired his Diploma in Astrology from Telugu University, at Hyderabad, Telangana, and in 2018 Vikram Reddy pursued Diploma in Water and soil Analysis & Social Work at Hyderabad, Telangana.
In the year 2019, Vikram Reddy finished the Mini Diploma in Sustainable and Profitable Course (Agriculture,Sericulture, Floriculture, Permaculture all epics Cows, Buffolos, Pigs all Culturs and Lifestyles).
CAREER IN PROFESSION-
Basically, Vikram Reddy hails from an Agricultural family. On the one hand, he was continuing his occupational career (Farming) by sustaining his occupational work continuing from his hereditary. On the other hand, he was handling the family responsibilities.
CAREER IN POLITICS-
While continuing his Education, In 2009 December, Vikram Reddy began his Political Career Independently, and he stood by the Students and Farmers and gave courage to the students by solving every problem.
CONTESTED POSITIONS-
During the 2013 Elections, he ran for the position of Ward Member for the 5th Ward, however, the position is dormant because of a slight difference in Vote Percentage.
On December 2018, in General Elections, Vikram Reddy contested for the position of MLA from Korutla independently, but the contested position was defeated.
Vikram Reddy ran for the reputable position as an MLA from Dubbaka during the 2020 Election Poll, but the post was vacated due to some circumstances.
Vikram ran in the Telangana By-Elections of 2021 from the Assembly Constituencies of Nagarjuna Sagar and Huzurabad, but the positions had been abandoned.
AS A TELANGANA ACTIVIST:
Vikram Reddy is an Telangana Activist, he participated as a part in a number of social programs and rallies, including the Million March, bike rallies, and dharnas, in an attempt to create Telangana as a separate state from Andhra Pradesh in India.
Vikram reddy organized and consucted a program by naming as “Thegisthene Telangana” program for a one year period as a part of Telangana Moverment.
He was active in the political movement known as the Telangana Agitation, which sought to establish Telangana as an independent state. The people of that region have been on an indefinite hunger strike because they want the Telangana safeguards put into place. This is a watershed moment for the Telangana movement.
Vikram Reddy was a fervent supporter of a separate state for Telangana, and he took part in the massive demonstration known as the Sakala Janula samme, in which the whole population participated in a strike.
Services Rendered by Vikram Reddy-
- Blood Donation Camp
- Vikram Reddy donated blood to the extreme people in the Blood Donation Camp organized at Dharmapuri of Telangana State.
- This has started by the Youth Members with the thought that no INDIAN should die with lack of blood and by implementing into reality, formed a group with countable members and started donating all the blood- Normal groups, Negative Groups, Rare Groups across INDIA with the help of donors.
- By notifying the issues in the village, he solved many problems and gave Pensions like -Widow Pension,old-age pensions, Handicapped Pension, and also dispensed White Ration Cards in the village.
- Vikram Reddy raised the consciousness of his friends about the importance of donating blood and compelled them to donate blood to extreme people.
- Journalist Vikram Reddy Vemula criticized the state leaders of Abhyudaya Rythu and Rythu Sanghas, stating that it is regrettable that the public representatives of the ruling party did not demonstrate that they would visit and stand by any single farmer who has suffered greatly as a result of the recent untimely rains and that the disregard for the welfare of the farmers is inappropriate.
- He inspected the crops in numerous regions where severe crop damage had occurred.He stated that the government is not acting responsibly towards the rice donors on this occasion.
- He criticized the government for failing to take action despite the fact that Annadata suffered severe losses as a result of two days’ worth of rainfall this week.
- He cautioned that if the government does not pay special attention and work diligently to support the peasantry, it will not face violent protests.
- The farmer leaders and journalist Vikram Reddy Vemula met with the Telangana State Minister of Civil Supplies to resolve issues such as the collection of Rabi paddy.
- According to the promises made by the government in a special meeting with Minister Gangula Kamalakar in Karimnagar, the government will solve the problems of the farmers, particularly by accelerating the procurement of Rabi paddy and wrapping up it on a war footing, by reaching out to farmers who have suffered losses due to untimely rains, by purchasing discolored grain, by purchasing thin varieties below 900% grade, and by accelerating the movement of grain.
- Vikram Reddy proffered a petition requesting that the farmers who had been weighed during the weighing pay their grain debts as quickly as possible.
Covid-19 Pandemic Services –
- Vikram Reddy distributed vegetables and fruits to the villagers and Municipality workers by following the precautions.
- Vikram Reddy came forward with humanity to help those in dire straits during the corona and provide financial assistance to those affected by the lock down.
- He apportioned Masks, Sanitizers, and food to the poor and also contributed to them financially.
- To spread awareness about social distancing and following precautionary measures to prevent the Epidemic of Corona, an awareness program has been conducted.
- As part of the drive to eradicate the corona epidemic, Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for the safety of the village.
- He looked after the people and was constantly available mainly to the poorest people in the zone.
- He rushed to the hospital with the corona-affected people and admitted them by consulting the doctor.
