Jeripothula Srinivas

Jeripothula Srinivas is the TRS Leader and SC Cell Mandal Vice President from Aithupally Village, Pegadapalli Mandal.

Born and Education: 

He was born on 28-05-1986 to the couple Lachaiah and Laxmi. Srinivas completed his schooling at ZPHS in 2001. He earned Intermediate from SRM junior college, Karimnagar. Srinivas attained D.Et in Karimnagar.

By his Profession, he is a Private School Teacher.

Political Life:

Journey in the YSRCP:

In 2006, Srinivas began his political career with the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party(YSRCP). He become an Party Activist and took part in “Gadapa Gadapa ki YSR” program, he made people aware of YSRCP schemes such as Jagananna Amma Vodi, Jagananna Chedodu, Jagananna Vidya Kanuka, Illa Pattalu, YSR Arogya scheme etc. He gave his contributions to Samaikyandhra Movement, for Special Status, also took part in Y.S Jagan’s, Y.S Sharmila’s Padayatra.

Journey in the TRS:

Due to some consequences, Srinivas left the YSRCP. In 2019, He switches over to the Telangana Rashtra Samiti(TRS) party. He contributed to all of the party’s activities and showed a genuine interest in the party’s growth.

Telangana Movement:

The Telangana movement refers to a movement for the creation of a new state, Telangana, from the pre-existing state of Andhra Pradesh in India. After several years of protest and agitation, the central government, under the United Progressive Alliance, decided to bifurcate the existing Andhra Pradesh state, and on 07-February-2014, the Union Cabinet unilaterally cleared the bill for the creation of Telangana. Lasting for almost a decade, this has been one of the most long-lasting movements in South India.

Srinivas played an active role during the late 2000s Telangana Separate State Movement he has participated in Dharnas, Rasta Rokos, Protest Programs, Chalo Hyderabad, Vanta-Varpu, Bike Rallies as a party of the Telangana Movement.

In 2019, Srinivas contested and was elected as Ward Member of 5th Ward from the TRS party. In view of the efforts being made for the development of the party, and recognizing his tireless work the party officials offered him the post of SC Cell Mandal Vice President of Pegadapalli, Jagtial district.

Recent Activities

• TRS leaders anointed for portraits of CM KCR and Koppula Ishwar as part of the CM Dalit Empowerment Mission program.
• On the occasion of the launch of the Dalit Bandhu Scheme for the Development of Dalits by CM KCR, TRS leaders were greeted Hon’ble Minister Koppula Ishwar with a shawl.
• Srinivas, TRS Leaders plants were planted in Aithupalli village on the occasion of Telangana IT Minister KTR’s birthday.
•  Mandal Vice President Srinivas and TRS leaders visited the village to discuss issues in the village as part of the ‘Palle Prakruti-4’ program.
• TRS leaders hoist the party flag and celebrate Telangana State Emergence Day at Aithupally village, Gram Panchayat office.
• As part of the Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations, Jeripothula Srinivas laid a wreath at the Ambedkar statue at Court Chowrasta in Karimnagar.
• As part of environmental protection, TRS activists and villagers planted seedlings in the Palle Pragati-4 program.

TRS Party Activities:

-SC Development Minister Koppula Ishwar said that CMRF stands by the unfortunate. Checks worth Rs 20.64 lakh were handed over to 82 beneficiaries from Dharmaram and Pegadapally Mandals at the Karimnagar camp office.

-Speaking at the conference, Minister Koppula Ishwar said that the TRS government, under the leadership of KCR, has shown progress in 70 years which is not shown for the past 70 years. The TRS government has replaced 1 lakh 3 thousand jobs since it came to power. The meeting was attended by Srinivas and other leaders

-Wajid, who served as Aitupalli Grama Panchayat Secretary for 13 years in Pegadapalli Mandal, was transferred to Kachapur village under Medipalli Mandal and was richly honored by the Aithupalli villagers.

-Sarpanch Kondayya and TRS leader Jeripothula Srinivas distributed masks to students following the reopening of a government high school in Aitupalli village.

Pandemic Services:

-Srinivas provided his service even during the covid tough times.

-He distributed basic necessities and food to villages and the needy.

-Srinivas along with the TRS leaders distributed masks to students following the reopening of a government high school in Aitupalli village.

-Provided free food service for migrants, financially assisted them to go to their villages.

-Conducted an annadhanam program for Police, Municipal Workers, front-line workers who served a lot during the pandemic.

-He also created awareness on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.

-He distributed food and rice bags to the migrants and also contributed to them financially.

-Srinivas continued to serve even during the covid second wave.

-He set up Covid center in the village and distributed Vegetables, fruits, Masks, Sanitizers to the village people.

-He told the villagers that no need to fear necessary precautions are enough for the prevention of corona.

-Organized awareness programs on precautions to be taken to prevent covid and said no need to panic.

-Delivered food, supplements to the covid victims.
