Jatgonda Maruthi Kuruma

Jatgonda Maruthi Kuruma is an Indian Politician and Current Sarpanch from Malgi village of Nyalkal in the Mandal in the respective state of Telangana.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION-

On the 16th of April 1992, in Malgi Village of Nyalkal Mandal in the District of Sangareddy, Telangana. He was born into a rural middle-class household as a treasured son for the couple Mr. Jatgonda Jagannathan & Mrs.Kalavathi.

He was never a believer in a pretentious education. He came from a simple educational background, as do most people. In the year 2009, he earned his Secondary Board of Education from ZP High School resided at Sangareddy.

Later, he went to ST. Anthony’s College to complete his Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) in 2011 situated at Sangareddy.

Since going to Tara Degree College placed at Sangareddy of Telangana, he discontinued his bachelor’s degree.

EARLY CAREER IN POLITICS-

He has been interested in politics since a young age, and his passion has led him to become a politician who expects people to succeed as a consequence of his services.

During his stint in education, in the year 2009, he commenced his political career by actively engaging in the Telangana Movement.

In the respective year, he joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) founded by Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao who is the Indian politician serving as the first and current Chief Minister of Telangana.

He exposed his leadership skills by serving as the TRS Party Activist and working comprehensively all the time for the welfare of humankind.

His constant attention and pure dedication to service in the year 2014, led to his promotion to the Telangana BC Welfare Society Student Joint Medak District President from TRS to promote the proper focus towards the need for effective and comprehensive expansion in people by doing his part to overcome the hardships faced by the people until date 2015.

After governing the people through difficult times, in 2015 he relocated to Telangana Rashtra Samiti Vidyarthi (TRSV) and volunteered in the Party as a TRSV Leader by actively participating in every activity.

Despite the handing over of responsibilities, the TRSV was dazzled by Maruthi’s diligence, and in the year 2017, promoted him as the TRSV Mandal President. So he can stay close to the people and do things that will benefit them.

In 2019, for his constant dedication and sincerity towards the work he has been appointed unanimously in the admirable position as Sarpanch from Malgi Village of Sangareddy District.

Despite being handed over the responsibilities, the party dazzled by his dedication and appointed Maruthi as the General Secretary to Mandal Sarpanch Forum  in 2020 so that he could stay closer to the people and carry out programs that would benefit them till 2011.

From the beginning of his political career to the present, he has worked incredibly hard for the welfare of the people, Striving hard for the advancement of the party and society, and has rendered desperate services to society through the positions he has held.

Telangana Movement:

Maruti Kuruma participated in the Telangana movement in 2009 under the leadership of Birayya Yadav.
During his tenure as an Undergraduate from St. Anthony ITI in Sangareddy, he engaged in Movement under the auspicious of TRSV state general secretary Naveen.
During Telangana Movement, Maruthi Kuruma played an active role and fought for the creation of a new state, Telangana, from the pre-existing state of Andhra Pradesh in India.
Maha Dharna was held at the Clock Tower Center for the separate state of Telangana.
As being a part of the fight for the state of Telangana, Maruthi Kuruma has been organized Padayatra and fought for Telangana State along with party members.
Under the auspices of the Telangana movement, non-stop protests were held for 25 days.

During Telangana Movement:

He organized and was involved in Rasta Roko from a distance of the Guntur District.
He participated in many social Programs and was involved in Million March, Bike Rallies, and Dharan’s to form Telangana as a separate State.
He formed Youth students to fight for the Telangana State and to bring Telangana as a separate state.

CAREER IN SOCIAL SERVICE-

He is a staunch believer that each and every individual should engage in social work that builds a sense of patriotism in their souls and one should constantly try to influence people around them by emphasizing that one is indebted to society.

Although growing politically, on the one hand, is working hard for the welfare of the TRSV with the positions assigned to him simultaneously working as a Social Activist to be closer in terms of service to the society on the other.

In the year 2018, his incredible services to the people made him honor the prestigious Award on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda for his services to the needy and helpless people.

Performed a Range of Political Activities shortly after joining the Party

• In 2013, the TRS Flag was unveiled in the presence of Zahirabad constituency In-Charge Gauni Sivakumar and Birayya Yadav, and Maruthi Kuruma actively participated in the program by discharging his obligations.
• Many party development programs were carried out in the village for the growth of the party and he respectably accepts the work assigned by the higher authorities and is completely involved to sort out the issues raised on any topics.
• He joined a large group of people at the party and helped them when they needed it.
• Maruthi Kuruma actively engaged in the Party’s initiatives and participates in every meeting organized by the relevant party.
• He organized and was involved in Political Party Joining meetings.
• He has been serving and assisting the party members whenever they are in need.
• Many party development programs were carried out in the village for the growth of the Party.
• Every criticism is levelled at the leaders of other parties, not just the TRSV leaders but the TRSV Party.
• A lot of work is being done to keep the TRSV at a high level without compromising the decency of the party anywhere.
• He accompanied many Mandal levels and District level party meetings and also organized TRSV Party Membership Programs.

Social Activities-

• He expanded his efforts by supporting poor individuals and orphans who have been badly affected by the assassination of their families, as well as by providing a set sum for the well-being of death-stricken families.
• He is constantly striving and fighting for the well-being of the people.
• He organized eye camps for senior citizens who live far from hospitals and helped them by providing treatment.
• He will assist those who come to him for help and provide the essential things that they require.
• He assists Orphans, disabled people, senior citizens and gave his hands to serve them by providing whatever they need.
• Maruthi Kuruma has been set up and implemented many district-level Social Activities and served the people who are in need.
• Maruthi Kuruma fights over every issue raised in the town and worked to solve the issues.

Ward Developmental Activities-

• He resolved the problems of village developmental issues and was also involved in many Social service events like Haritha Haram, Clean and Green, Casting of Plants, and also participated in the Palle Pragathi program.
• Maruthi Kuruma has been installing street lights in Malgi village, paving dividers, paving roads, eliminating drainage problems, alleviating power shortage, and solving water problems.
• In order to solve the water problems in every house of Malgi Colony people, and installed taps and solved the water issues by providing pure drinking water.
• As there is damage to the Pipelines of the Water tank in the village, he Renovated the pipelines with his own money.

Schools & College Developmental Activities-

• He solved every single problem faced by the students in the schools and Colleges.
• As soon as it came to his notice that there were no proper facilities in the college, new furniture was arranged.
• He arranged all the facilities in the BC hostels without any restriction for a single student.
• Maruthi Kuruma mainly focused on students like Fee reimbursement and Scholarships, Buss pass issues, and worked hard to ensure that scholarships were granted to students immediately.
• Maruthi Kuruma laid a big platform for the students’ bright future by organizing an awareness seminar to inform them about the importance of education in College.
• Every year on 15th August Independence Day and 26th January Republic Day celebrations are held at the school and cultural events are organized and plates and prizes being awarded to the winners of the event.

Services Rendered During Dreadful Pandemic COVID-19-

• He supplied masks, sanitizers, and food to the impoverished, while also financial assistance.
• During the covid period, he worked all days (day and night) and looked after the people.
• He is indeed available, notably to the zone’s poorest inhabitants.
• Because self-isolated persons were unable to care for themselves, Maruthi Kuruma stepped forward to help them by providing basic necessities for a set amount of time while adhering to specified guidelines.
• He has been assisting unemployed people who have lost their employment as a result of the crisis and are in financial distress.
• Maruthi Kuruma conducted a Corona Virus awareness program and provided specific precautions to avoid the dreadful virus.
• For families who do not even have the essentials to eat at home for the poor family, in the corona infected quarantine along with the corona tablets for them, all the members of the party volunteered to come forward and help each member of the household with a daily supply of essentials directly to their home.
• At the hospital, Maruthi Kuruma also began offering masks and sanitizers to men suffering from corona deprivation symptoms.
