Janni Gopal Rao

Janni Gopal Rao is the Social Activist and Adivasi Girijana Chaitanya Vedika Sangam Secretary of Santhoshipuram, Srikakulam District.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION:

On the 01st of October 1983, Janni Gopal Rao was born to the couple Mr. Janni Chinna Babu and Mrs. Janni Arudramma in the village of Santhoshipuram of Pathapatnam Mandal in Srikakulam District in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh.

In the year 1999, Gopal Rao obtained his Secondary Board of Education from GTW High School located at Killoyi and completed his Intermediate from APRJS Junior College placed at Sithammapeta in 2002.

He attained his Graduation of Degree from Government Degree College at Palakonda in 2006 and acquired his B.Ed Course at Gurujada College of Education at Srikakulam in 2009.

CAREER IN THE COMMUNITY:

In 2022, Gopal Rao was appointed as the Secretary of Adivasi Girijana Chaitanya Vedika Sangam of Santhoshipuram, Srikakulam District, and has been serving the people with their assigned position to the people by satisfing their necessities of them.

Activities Undertaken:

• Health scheme projects have been undertaken in tribal areas to provide medical facilities to the people.
• Through the Community, Gopal Rao organizes a celebration every year on August 9th as part of the Tribal Day festivities.
• He denounced the continuous unlawful assaults on tribals and called on the government to take prompt and proper action against such illegal attacks as promptly as possible.
• A siege was carried out near Pragati Bhavan to hand over the title deeds of the tribal lands to the beneficiaries.
• He condemned the ongoing illegal attacks on tribals and demanded the government take appropriate action immediately against such illegal attacks.
