Jallepalli Venkateswarlu(JVR)

 

Jallepalli Venkateswarlu popularly known as JVR is the YSRTP State Official Spokesperson and Huzur Nagar Constituency Incharge. He is a firm believer that a leader is someone who exemplifies what is possible. Venkateswarlu, who has been in politics for more than twenty years and is a devoted supporter of the people, has earned a favorable reputation among them.

Born and Education:

He was born on 02nd August 1969 to the couple Bola Kotaiah in Mella Cheruvu.

Venkateswarlu completed his schooling in 1984. He discontinued his Graduation(BA) due to certain circumstances.

Apart from his political career, he balances his professional life as a Businessman. He served in the Cini field also. He worked as a Producer.

A Career in Politics:

He has been associated with the Student Federation of India(SFI) since his college days. He was selected as SFI Student Organization President when he was in Intermediate. Venkateswarlu becomes Student Organization President again when he was pursuing his Degree.

Venkateswarlu served as the President of the Student Organization and fought on a wide range of student issues.

While pursuing his degree, Venkateswarlu founded the Friends Youth Club, a youth organization. Venkateswarlu has received the Ambedkar Social Welfare Society’s “Best Social Worker” Award twice, honoring his social contribution across the area via the Friends Youth Club Organization. This is an uncommon occurrence that does not happen to everyone.

JVR’s role in organizing the Chiranjeevi’s Bahirambasabha in 2013 at the Huzur Nagar Center:

After Chiranjeevi was sworn in as the Union Minister of the Congress Party during the Telangana Movement, JVR organized a huge public meeting under the auspices of the Congress Party in Huzur Nagar, Nalgonda district with 70,000 people at its own expense, decided by MLA Uttam Kumar Reddy. Despite hundreds of attempts by the Komatireddy Brothers in the pursuit of Telangana protesters to block Chiranjeevi’s visit, the JVR made the Bahirambasabha was a Grand Success with a huge crowd. The then Union Minister Chiranjeevi specially congratulated JVR for organizing such a huge public meeting in the Telangana region and giving him a warm welcome.

JVR’s role in the victory of Former minister, MLA Uttam Kumar Reddy:

JVR has been served as the right hand of Nallamada Gautam Kumar Reddy for a decade.

JVR’s own vote bank in the Huzur Nagar constituency is the main reason for Uttam Kumar Reddy to get a huge majority in the 2014 and 2019 general elections.

Despite strong public opposition to Uttam Kumar Reddy being a politician living in Hyderabad who was never available to the public, JVR has been active on the right-hand of Uttam Kumar Reddy, being supportive of all sections and constantly available to the common man and playing an active role in Uttam Kumar’s victory.

Especially during the 2014 elections when Telangana martyr Srikanthachari’s mother Shankaramma stood in the ring from TRS, almost when Uttam Kumar Reddy’s defeat was imminent, Uttam Kumar won with a parrot majority of over 15,000 due to his own vote bank in the JVR constituency.

Journey in the TDP:

Then after Venkateswarlu joined the Telugu Desam Party(TDP). He becomes TDP Youth Leader in the year 1990.

→ From 1994-2003: TDP Mandal President

JVR’s Political Career and positions held in the Congress Party:

→ In 2003: Officially joined the Party
→ In 2004: INC District Vice-President
→ From 2004-2009: Worked as DCC Vice-President
→ From 2009-2013: INC State Youth Secretary

In 2013, JVR was elected as the DCMS Chairman of Nalgonda District with the votes of 150 PACS Chairmen and 4500 Society members across the district. During his five-year tenure as DCMS Chairman, he rose to become one of the most powerful leaders in the district itself.

From 2013-2018, Venkateswarlu was appointed and worked as District Co-Operative Marketing Society Chairman as his second term.

Then after Venkateswarlu joined the Telangana Rashtra Samiti(TRS) party under the auspices of Telangana CM Kalvakuntla Chandra Shekar Rao.

JVR’s Political Career in the BJP:

In the presence of BJP State President Dr.Laxman and Vice-President Sankineni Venkateswara Rao, JVR joined the BJP from the Huzur Nagar constituency on September 6th in a massive rally with 300 vehicles. In addition to constituency responsibilities, he was appointed as a Member of the State Executive.

Union Minister Hans Raj Gangarai Iyer, BJP state president Laxman and vice-president Sankineni Venkateswara Rao convened a meeting in Huzur Nagar on September 17 on the occasion of Telangana Liberation Day.

JVR humbly said that he would work day and night to win the BJP in the Huzur Nagar constituency as a disciplined leader in line with the directives of Union President Amit Shah, State President Laxman, Vice President Sankineni Venkateswara Rao, and some district presidents Satya Narayana.

Establishment of BC Rajyadhikara Sadhana Samiti:

The BC Rajyadhikara Sadhana Samiti was set up with the aim of bringing the BCs to a higher level politically by filling the consciousness of the oppressed sections who could not tolerate the injustice being done to the BCs politically for a few decades in the state.

BC Welfare Association National President R.K. Krishnaiah was invited as a guest and the JVR set up the BC Rajyadhikara Sadhana Samithi, which included all the caste groups across the state.

Journey in the YSRTP:

Venkateswarlu switches over the YSR Telangana Party(YSRTP) which is launched by Former CM Y.S Rajashekar Reddy’s daughter Y.S Sharmila on the occasion of Y.S Rajashekar Reddy’s birth anniversary with the aim of “A dream to bring back the legacy of YSR”.

As a result of his continuous efforts, the party authorities appointed him as YSRTP State Official Spokesperson from Telangana, and currently serving in the position. Venkateswarlu pledged to work hard for the YSRTP and the people who put their faith in him upon his nomination as State Official Spokesperson, and he vowed to be there for them at all times.

YSRTP Party Activities:

-On the occasion of YSR Congress, President Sharmila’s birthday, Telangana State Party spokesperson and Huzur Nagar constituency in – charge Jallepally Venkateshwarlu laid a wreath at the YSR statue at the crossroads of Miryalaguda Road at the Suryapeta district headquarters. Fruits and bread were then distributed to the patients at the government hospital

-YSR Telangana party chief Sharmila took part in a farmer’s Hunger Strike at Dharna Chowk, Indira Park in Hyderabad. YSR Telangana Party Spokesperson Jallepally Venkateshwarlu expressed support for Sharmila’s initiation. He then explained the problems faced by the farmers to YS Sharmila.

-Huzur Nagar constituency In-charge Jallepally Venkateswarlu honored DK Aruna, Bangaru Shruti, and Premender Reddy with shawls during the Kishan Reddy’s “Ashirvada Yatra” in Huzur Nagar.

-The river waters of three TMCs in four districts are being lost due to the KCR and Jagan collusion in the joint Mahabubnagar district, joint Nalgonda district, and Rangareddy Khammam districts on the Potireddipadu head regulator capacity enhancement. Jallepally Venkateswara Rao (JVR) started a hunger strike at the call of BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar to protest against this.

Venkateswarlu’s effort during the Covid Crisis:

-The epidemic has badly damaged people’s lives. Ordinary people could not survive during the Covid. As a responsible YSRTP leader, Venkateswarlu gave his contribution even during the pandemic.

-During the Pandemic Period, he distributed fruits, food packets, and water bottles to the road siders and also distributed blankets to them.

-He provided food and rice bags to the migrants and also contributed to them financially.

-Provided annadhanam program to the Police, Municipal, front-line workers who served a lot during the corona crisis.

-Conducted awareness programs on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.

-He financially helped covid victims by providing vitamin tablets, masks, Sanitizers, and fruits.

-Venkateswarlu put his effort to serve people even during the covid second wave.

-He distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people.

-Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and about the effects of the virus.

-The area infected with the coronavirus has been declared a red zone and people have been given proper precautions and instructions.

-Delivered food, supplements for the covid victims by home delivery.
