Hanumanthu Lajipathi Rai is an Indian Politician and Former Vice Chancellor of Dr BR Ambedkar University of Srikakulam from the State of Andhra Pradesh andProf Hanumanthu Lajipathirai, Chairman, Non-Political Joint Action Committee for A.P. Paripalana Vikendreekarana.

CHILDHOOD AND EDUCATION:

On the 19th of June, 1957, Lajipathi Rai was born to the couple Mr Krishna Rao & Mrs Susheelamma and raised in NGO Colony of Visakhapatnam in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh.

In the year 1972, Lajipathi Rai obtained his Secondary Board of Education from NTR Municipal High School, placed at Srikakulam in Andhra Pradesh and in 1974, he completed his Intermediate course from Government Arts Junior College, Srikakulam.

In 1977, Lajipathi Rai obtained graduation with a degree from Acharya Nagarjuna University situated at Guntur of Andhra Pradesh State and, in 1979, finished his master’s degree from Osmania University at Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.

Lajipathi Rai acquired his P.h.d (Doctor of Philosophy) from Osmania University in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh.

Lajipathi Rai’s Academic & Administrative Experience-

• Lajipathi Rai was a University Professor having 33 years of experience preceding his superannuation.
• Lajipathi Rai was subsequently appointed to the position of Rector (Academic head of the University) at SK University in Anantapur District in the State of Andhra Pradesh beginning in the academic year 2017–2018. This remarkable endorsement of his abilities came from the university’s administration.
• Lajipathi Rai functioned as the Chairman of the Board of Studies for the Commerce Department at SK University in Andhra Pradesh, as well as holding the roles of Academic Senate President, Head of the Commerce Faculty, and Dean through 2 distinct terms.
• During his administration, Lajipathi Rai was awarded the16 Philosophy of Doctorates and 12 Master of Philosophies in research guidance from the Andhra Pradesh State.
• He has authored 84 articles based on his research that have been published in major media outlets in Newspapers & Journals.
• In addition to this, he sparked the interest of additional novelists and published six books in the spheres of tourism, international trade, consumer protection, and other related aspects.
• Lajipathi Rai is an accomplished researcher who has published two works on the topics of leadership qualities in tribal communities and Indo-SAARC Trade (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC),) an economic and political organisation comprising eight countries in South Asia.

Roles As a Founder & Convenor-

As the Founder Director and Convenor of the Andhra Study Circle for BCs for the Government of Andhra Pradesh, Lajipathi Rai assisted 72 candidates from underrepresented groups into the Indian Administrative Service, the Indian Police Service, and other similar positions.
Through his creative career development programmes for BCs, he developed more than 200 individuals for Group I and Group II State Services positions.

As a Trainer under Good Governance-

• More than eight thousand officers from varying Group I and II service cadres were trained by Lajipathi Rai. At the same time, he was a Professor of Human Resource Development at the Dr MCRHRDIAP, Government of Andhra Pradesh. and then he reported to the government on the challenges he encountered while working on the ground to implement various government policies and programmes.
• Lajipathi Rai enrolled in the High-Level Leadership Training in Resource Mobilization that was organized by ASCI in Hyderabad, Telangana.
• He has recently taken part in a Knowledge Mission Workshop that lasted for two days at the Centre for Innovations in Public.
• Lajpathi Rai undertook the Higher Education Mission Workshop (Jun 30-July 01, 2015) at ISB, Hyderabad, where he attended the Centre for Executive Education conference.
• On July 9th, 2017, he exhibited Sri Krishnadevaraya University’s Best Digital Vision at the GOI HRD Ministry National Convention on Digital Initiative for Higher Education, hosted at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi.
• On September 23, 2015, Lajipathi Rai delivered a presentation on Poverty Alleviation through NALSA Interventions before the Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh State at a Work Shop organized for Judges.

Revolutionary / Artistic Creation of Lajipathi Rai–

Through Student Community Engagement, he has initiated the first programme of its sort at any university in the State, dubbed “Classroom To Common Man Programme” (CRCP).

The knowledge and experience of the faculty were brought up in the households of the average citizen.
Translation of theory & concept taught in the classroom into action outside the university.
In order to assist people, Lajipathi Rai embraced an interdisciplinary approach, particularly to issues pertaining to the economy.

Consumers who have disputes with merchants over purchases totalling several hundred thousand rupees may be able to avoid going to court by instead trying to negotiate amicable solutions with the businesses in the issue.

• On the honour of Republic Day, Lajipathi Rai received a slew of accolades from both the district and statewide levels.
• He received numerous awards & Honors from organisations in Hyderabad, including the prestigious Vidya Ratna, for the countless ways in which he had improved the lives of his compatriots.
• He was recognized as the best teacher at the Andhra Pradesh state level and the presenter of the Priya Darsini Award from the International Society for Performance Art.

Editorial Experience:

Lajipathi Rai has contributed to the publishing industry in a number of roles, including Founding Editor of Viniyogavani Consumer Crusader and Chief Editor of Compete.
The University Grants Commission of India has summoned Lajipathi Rai to give lectures at universities in Egypt.

• Lajipathi Rai won the people’s respect by upholding the promises, duties, and powers bestowed upon him. As a consequence, from the years 1993-96, he was designated as the Lok Adalat Member from Andhra Pradesh State.
• From the years 1998-2000, Lajipathi Rai has appointed as the Chief Coordinator for Continuous Education Centers at Hyderabad, thinking about the welfare of the people for the moment and dealing with activities for Society’s advancement.
• Lajipathi Rai’s unwavering commitment and genuine effort in 1994 gained him the position as a Member of the District Blindness Control Committee. He has constantly been working for the people, thinking about their welfare, and gaining immense admiration from the people till 1996.
• Because of the efforts being made for the development of the society, in the years 1993-96, he was offered the post of Member at State Level Prices Monitoring Committee, Civil Supplies Ministry from Andhra Pradesh State.
• His constant attention and pure dedication to service in the year 1994 led to his promotion to the President and Secretary of Mid Town Rotary Club from Anantapur of Andhra Pradesh State to promote the proper focus on the need for effective and comprehensive expansion in people by doing his part to overcome the hardships faced by the people.
• Lajipathi Rai was promoted as the Coordinator of Government Leprosy Rehabilitation Center in 1990-96 at Anantapur from Andhra Pradesh after receiving the authority and carrying out all operations as his commitment to the welfare of the people and by carrying out his full compliance with a code of conduct and also for the benefit of the recognition.
• He organized National & Regional Conferences on Consumerism as General Secretary of CAPCO from the State of Andhra Pradesh.

• Lajipathi Rai functioned as an ODF (open defection free) Nodal Officer at the University level from 2017-18, leading various campaigns with 10000 student volunteers under the Swatch Bharat and Swachandrapraesh programmes.
