Guvvala Balaraju was a Member of the Legislative Assembly(MLA) of Achampet Constituency from the TRS party. He was born on 30-06-1981 to Ramulu. He has completed SSC from Z.P high school in Wanaparthy. He completed a Master of Law From PG College Of Law, Basheerbagh, Hyderabad in 2014. He has Business. He worked as a Contractor.

He joined the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) party. In 2014, in Telangana Legislative Elections, he was won the post of Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) with the highest majority of 62,584 votes from the TRS party.  Regardless of the position, Sri Guvvala Balaraju has been working with a clear vision to empower strong leaders.

In 2018, he elected as a Member of, 2nd Telangana Legislative Assembly from the Achampet constituency. He served as a Member of the Committee on Public Accounts. He worked as Government Whip, Telangana Legislative Assembly from 07-09-2019 – till now.

Balaraju participated in a number of Welfare Programs which include distributing health and hygiene kits through the Government and organizing Purple Eye Light Camps through which free eye checkups, starting the Double Bedroom House Project in Achampet town, medicine distribution, and Conducted a Mega Job Mela.
