Guruja Jithender Reddy is an Indeed Indian Politician of the Indian National Congress Party and TPCC State Secretary.
CHILDHOOD AND EDUCATION:
On the 20th of July 1985, Guruja Jithender Reddy commonly known as Puduri Jithender Reddy (PJR) was born to the couple Mr. Guruja Mohan Reddy and Mrs. Guruja Sukanya and resided at Uppal in Medchal- Malkajgiri District in the Indian State of Telangana.
In the year 2000, Jithender Reddy obtained his Secondary Board of Education from Jhonson Grammar High School located at Habsiguda and Completed his Intermediate course from Ratna Junior College at Natayanaguda in 2002.
He finished his education by attaining his Graduation from Annamalai University situated in Chennai in 2005.
Guruja Jithender Reddy’s Inspiration:
Guruja Jithender Reddy was immensely fond of Yamjala Sridhar Reddy famously known as Uppal YSR is the grandson of Raja Reddy ( the former Member of the Legislative Assembly for the Uppal constituency), a massive supporter of YS Rajasekhara Reddy and a disciple of Sabita Indra Reddy. From an early age, Jithender Reddy is a great follower and was very much concerned in their administration and in his footsteps and was greatly inspired by his services rendered to the people.
EARLY CAREER IN POLITICS:
Jithender Reddy joined the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), the student wing of INC, in 2004 while completing his education and began providing assistance to the students regardless of ethnicity, religion, language, or creed.
Under the auspices of NSUI, he has been involved in the battle against the government over the issues that are being experienced by students.
Under the framework of the NSUI and the Youth Congress, student and jobless concerns are constantly addressed.
Jithender Reddy joined the Indian National Congress Party (INC) in 2013 as he was passionate about politics and concurred to satisfy the political aspirations of the people while also doing a modest service and addressing conflicts raised in society.
Jithender Reddy was appointed as Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee State Secretary (TPCC State Secondary) of Telangana from INC in 2018 for his perseverance, dedication, and service, and he has been in the position which was assigned and has rendered services to many through his kind heart by fulfilling the tasks assigned to him, winning the people’s admiration.
He has been leveraging all of his capabilities for the people and pursuing his satisfying life of public welfare from the time he was handed the positions, briefly outlining and abiding by the rules and regulations for the improvement of the party as well as the welfare of the people.
Activities Performed Recently:
- Rains have made the situation in Uppal even worse. The administration, which ultimately failed to manage the floodwaters in the city, Jithender Reddy went to some of the worst-affected districts and supplied them with basic supplies. Jithender Reddy promised that in the next days he would assist as many individuals as possible.
- Manikkam Thakur, the newly appointed Congress party Telangana affairs in charge, met with PCC Secretary Puduri Jithender Reddy (Uppal PJR). The position of the Congress party in the Uppal constituency, as well as efforts to be made to strengthen it, were addressed at this moment.
- A large protest against Fraud’s high electricity bills was held during the Corona lockdown period at 11 a.m. at the Office of Superintending Engineer operations, in accordance with a call from the T.P.C.C. - Pasula Prabhakar reddy T.P.C.C. secretary organized an anti-fuel price hikes protest with the participation of Puduri Jithender Reddy (T.P.C.C. secretary), Mekala Shiva Reddy (Ex-Municipal Chairman), Ragidi Laxma Reddy, Senior Congress Leaders B.Sudakar Reddy, Sudhakar Shetty, and Puppala Venkatesh, Charan Koushik Yadav (T.P.C.C. Secretary), Sanjay Jain, Kaleru Jai Naveen, Bottu among them are the state-level secretary of the Youth Congress, D.Vinod Mudhiraj, as well as the Secretary of the T.P.Y.C., Bosani Pavan; Kandi Sravan reddy; Kotesh; the president of the D.C.C. S.T. cell; Ganesh Naik; Ashu; Malu Naik; Karipe Santosh; Ramesh Naik; and B. Vinay and Others.
- Mini Shilparam in Uppal was inaugurated with the presence of Minister Mallareddy, Minister Srinivasa Goud, and Guruja Jithender, as well as the President of the TPCC, Shri Anumula Revanth Reddy.

A student from Ramantapur named B. Deepak is currently in the first year of his studies at Inter. Jithender Reddy, upon learning that his parents were having trouble paying Deepak’s tuition, made an offer to provide financial assistance. Student Deepak received monetary help in the amount of Rs. 10,000 to aid with his tuition and other associated costs.
- A birthday party was hosted in Uppal for Congress party state secretary Puduri Jithender Reddy (also known as PJR Uppal). At the Uppal Gandhi monument, saris and baskets were presented to municipal personnel. There were two primary guests at the event: Bandari Lakshma Reddy, a member of the Congress party, and Mekala Shiva Reddy, a former municipal chairman, Members of Congress Party leaders Sudhakar Shetty, Anya Balakrishnan, Sukka Kiran, Raju Lingayat, Bashampally Niranjan, Masa Shekhar, and Mastan were present at the event.
- The Red Cross Society conducted a blood donation camp in honor of Puduri Jithender Reddy’s birthday at the Uppal Bharat Youth Club. There were a large number of young persons who gave blood. Asha Kutir Orphanage in Padmavati Colony hosted Annadanam thereafter.
- Participants include both members of the Uppal PJR and supporters of the Uppal Congress in defense of the contract and the workers of the watershed against 491 G O. with the Shri Uttam Kumar Reddy, Shri Damodar Raja Narasimha, Shri Sunitha Laxma Reddy, and Sri Sudhakar Shekar at Gajwel, in the Medak District.
- Uppal P. J. R Alongside activists from the Uppal Congress Party who were actively participating in a dharna program at the Secretariat and lending their support to the cause of municipal workers and NREGS Staff who have been partaking in representative democracy forms of protest or strike action against the TRS Government for a number of days presently, together with Former TPCC President Sri Uttam Kumar Reddy, Working President Sri Bhatti Vikramarka, CLP leader Jana Reddy, Ponnala Laxmaiah.
Services rendered during the pandemic:
- During the first and second waves of Corona, he provided financial and humanitarian assistance to people who were affected by the lockdown. During the crisis, and acted with compassion, assisting those in need and extending further support to those who had been affected by the lockdown.
- Throughout the crisis, he responded generously, rescuing those in need and offering special attention to those who had been affected by the lockdown. Jithender offered the less fortunate face masks, hand sanitizers, and lunches, as well as income support.
- He has been giving vital supplies to assist water-scarce places due to the social gap established by the Covid-19 restrictions.
- Jithender Reddy snuck across to help those who had been impacted by the lockdown by distributing veggies and fruits to communities, the homeless, and Municipality workers according to the established protocols.
- He assisted the impoverished by providing masks, hand sanitizers, and food, as well as financial support.
- During the corona, for 6 months in a row, clothes and food were distributed to the tribals and medical medicines were distributed. Also, financial assistance was provided to the children there for their education.
- A gathering was organized to raise awareness about social distance and the need of adopting preventative measures in order to prevent the Corona Epidemic from spreading.
- When the coronavirus was successfully eradicated, villagers were sprayed with sodium hypochlorite solution to guarantee that they were not subjected to any negative consequences.
- The Covid Immunization Drive was launched in response to Prime Minister Modi’s request to raise public awareness about the need of receiving a free corona immunization.
- During the pandemic, a door-to-door survey was conducted to promote awareness about the virus and advise safety procedures.
- During the corona pandemic, free medications were supplied to raise awareness about the need of being cautious before getting the sickness.
