Gurram Sreedhar Patel

 

Gurram Sreedhar Patel is the Mandal Youth President of Jagdevpur from the BJYM. He was born on 01-02-1986 to Sattaiah and Laxmi in Gurjakunta, Cheryal Mandal.

Educational Background

In 2003, He completed SSC from ZPHS, Munigadapa, and from 2003-2005, he completed Intermediate from GMR junior college, Gajwel. Sreedhar earned his Graduation(Degree) from Govt degree college, Ambedkar open university, Neredpet, Malkajgiri.

Political Career

He worked as Village Youth President, Munigadapa in 2018. In 2019, Sreedhar entered into Active Politics with the Bharatiya Janta Party(BJP) and was elected as Mandal Youth President of Jagdevpur from the BJYM in 2021.

He gave his contributions to the Telangana Movement and took part in Sakalajanula Samme, Hunger Strike, Million March, Chalo Hyderabad, Vanta Varpu, Bahiramba Sabha, Rasta Rocos, and Protest programs, Bike Rallies as a part of the Telangana Movement.

Party Activities

• He has been conducted Chatrapati Shivaji, Hanuman Rallies in the village every year.
• Sreedhar demanded a support price for farmers.
• When the Mallanna Sagar water overflowed, the authorities evacuated the villagers from the villages. Sreedhar held a dharna over the incident.
• Sreedhar fought for the government to take action to stop the suicides of farmers
• Sreedhar demanded that justice be done to the farmers who committed suicide due to the confiscation of KCR farmers’ lands.
• KCR advertised giving water from ponds. But the water came only in the KCR area and did not come anywhere in the constituency. Sreedhar informed everyone about this through Raj News.

Social Service

• Sreedhar has a keen interest in Social Service he has done many Social Activities in the village. He laid CC roads, solved drainage issues, put street lights. Gave awareness on how to keep surroundings clean.
• He distributed food, fruits to the patients in the Gajwel hospital.
• He solved the water problem by facilitating water tanks. Participated in every development activity in the village.
• Cleared people’s problems of MRO issues.
• Participated in Haritha Haram, Swachh Bharat program.
• Wet and dry bins were distributed to households also created awareness of wet garbage and dry garbage.
• Sreedhar provides financial assistance to the poor and to the dead family.
• He provided stationary things, Plates, Exam pads to the students. Gave financial assistance to poor students.

Pandemic Services

• Sreedhar distributes essentials, to the village people in the Covid-19 pandemic time.
• He provided food packets, water bottles to the migrants.
• Also provided Masks, Sanitizers, Rice, Vegetables to the poor people and to the Police, Municipal workers who worked a lot in the Pandemic time.
• He provided free food service to the poor people for 32 days.
• Gave awareness on how to maintain social distance.
• Gave Precautions to prevent Covid-19, gave financial assistance to the Covid victims.
