EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION:
On the 05th of January 1978, Srinivasulu was born to the couple Mr. Gurrala Penchalayya and Mrs. Gurrala Penchalamma and resided at Kurnool in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh.
In the year 1995, Srinivasulu obatined his Secondary Board of Education from Municipal High School located at Kurnool and completed his Intermediate course from Bala Shiva Junior College placed at Kurnool in 1997.
He attained his Gradaution of Degree from Kakatiya University, Warangal in 2015 and completed his Master of Social Work (MSW) from Kakatiya University in 2021 and Post Graduation Diploma in Jorunalism from Rachana School of Jorunalism from Hyderabad in 2021.
CAREER IN SOCIAL LIFE:
On the Continuation of his Education, Srinivasulu turned into a social worker and established Safai Karmacharula Hakkula Sadana Sangham in 2004 and has been representing as the Founder and Chairman of the community and addressing the issues raised in the society.
In addition to his primary responsibilities, he was appointed and served as the State Press Secretary of National Human Rights Commission to ensure that the initial and subsequent tasks run smoothly.
Activities Performed Recently:
- Gurrala Srinivasulu has been given the position of State Press Secretary for the National Human Rights Commission by the state president of the Safai Workers’ Rights Association of the district. In what capacity did the appointment letter come from RK Singh, who heads up the National Human Rights Commission? On this occasion, Srinivasulu said that Safai’s efforts to convey the problems that the employees were experiencing to the National Commission in Delhi and find solutions to these issues had been accorded the attention that they deserved.
- Gurrala Srinivasulu, the state president of the Safai workers’ union, stated that Safai employees should be provided with justice and given the chance to better their living circumstances in all aspects of their lives. A lecture on awareness was conducted in the Skanda Shopping Mall, which is closely located to the Chand Talkies theatres in the region. During that period, he mentioned that Safai had distributed a brochure to raise awareness about the working conditions for the employees.
- There are around 78 public restrooms located across the city, and 18 different private organisations now manage them. One employee is responsible for cleaning each of the public restrooms. The bare minimum pay in India is 8 rupees per hour. You will no longer be responsible for making separate payments to purchase phenols, acid, powder, and other equipment. Srinivasulu also demanded that appropriate action be taken against the leader of the ruling party in the private agencies for contacting 28 toilets and pretending that the authorities were not even paying attention to the fact that the Safai workers were being paid only 5,000 rupees. - A petition was delivered by Gurrala Srinivasulu, the state president of the Safai Workers’ Rights Sudden Committee, to Sriramulu in Delhi. Sriramulu is a member of the National SC Commission and received the appeal. The petition said that SCs and STs in the nation were being treated unfairly.
- SKHC presented AJC Ramaswamy with a joint petition requesting that those who are qualified for the SC Corporation loans that were approved in the district the previous year be granted those loans.
AWARDS AND RECOGNITION:
Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Fellowship 2019 Award was presented out by Dr. P. Ambedkar, who serves as the National President of the Sahitya Akademi. This event was held under the auspices of the Sahitya Akademi. It has come to light that Sumanakshar was the one who personally delivered it to Gurrala Srinivasulu, who serves as the District Secretary for the Safai Workers’ Rights Practice Association.
