Gundumala Chandrashekar (CO) is an Indian Politician from the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh and current YSRCP Madakasira Constituency Youth Wing President in the respective state of Andhra Pradesh.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION-

On the 27th of May 1991, in Gundumala Village of Madakasira Mandal in the District of Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, he was born into a rural middle-class household as a son of the couple Mr.Obulesh & Mrs.Lakkamma.

In the year 2007, he studied his Secondary Board of Education from Matha English Medium High School resided at Madakasira.

Later, he went to Sri Sai Junior College to complete his undergraduate in 2009 situated at Anantapur. Further, in 2012 he holds B. Pharmacy from Sri Laxmi Venkateshwara Pharmaceutical Sciences located at Proddatur.

EARLY CAREER IN POLITICS-

He has been interested in politics since a young age, and his passion has led him to become a politician who expects people to succeed as a consequence of his services.

During his stint in education, he has been determined to serve the people. In the year 2009, Chandrashekar started his career by joining the Indian National Congress Party (INC) which is ruling under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi.

From the time period between 2004-2008, He performed beyond his abilities as a Party Activist since the day he joined the party for its development and put in a lot of exertion for the party’s triumph.

After the conclusion of his education, in the year 2013, he commenced his politics by joining the Students’ Federation of India (SFI). He joined as a volunteer in 2013 with a commitment to serve society and help the students.

In the following year, he has been held in the prestigious designation as DYFI Division President from Penukonda. He worked in the assigned positions by discharging his duties with a code of conduct for a year.

Despite the handing over of responsibilities, the DYFI was dazzled by Chandrashekar’s diligence, and in the year 2014, promoted him as the Madakasira Constituency Youth Leader from DYFI. So he can stay close to the people and do things that will benefit them.

After the death of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Rajasekhar Reddy, Chandrashekar left the Congress party in 2009 and joined the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party(YSRCP) founded by the Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy current chief Minister of the State Andhra Pradesh.

His constant attention and pure dedication to service in the year 2012, led to his promotion to the Mandal Youth Leader from YSRCP to promote the proper focus towards the need for effective and comprehensive expansion in people by doing his part to overcome the hardships faced by the people until date 2020.

Despite the handing over of responsibilities, the party was dazzled by Chandrashekar’s diligence, and in the year 2021, promoted him as the Constituency Youth Wing President of Madakasira of Andhra Pradesh so he can stay close to the people and do things that will benefit them.

From the beginning of his political career to the present, he has worked incredibly hard for the welfare of the people, Striving hard for the advancement of the party and society, and has rendered desperate services to society through the positions he has held.

Chandrashekar is a Dedicated devotee of the Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS. Rajashekara Reddy –

Performed a Range of Political Activities shortly after joining the Party-

• During Elections, he enthusiastically participates in the Door-to-Door election campaign and worked hard to bring more voters to won the party in his locality.
• Many party development programs were carried out at the constituency level for the growth of the party and he respectably accepts the work assigned by the higher authorities and is completely involved to sort out the issues raised on any topics.
• He joined a large group of people at the party and helped them when they needed it.
• Chandrashekar actively engaged in the Party’s initiatives and participates in every meeting organized by the relevant party.
• He organized and was involved in Political Party Joining meetings.
• He has been serving and assisting the party members whenever they are in need.
• Many party development programs were carried out in the village for the growth of the Party.
• Every criticism is leveled at the leaders of other parties, not just the YSRCP leaders but the YSRCP Party.
• A lot of work is being done to keep the YSRCP at a high level without compromising the decency of the party anywhere.
• He accompanied many Mandal levels and District level party meetings and also organized YSRCP Party Membership Programs.

Village Developmental Activities-

• He resolved the problems of village developmental issues and was also involved in many Social service events like Haritha Haram, Clean and Green, Casting of Plants, and also participated in the Palle Pragathi program.
• Chandrashekar has been installing street lights in Gundamala village, paving dividers, paving roads, eliminating drainage problems, alleviating power shortages, and solving water problems.
• In order to solve the water problems in every house of the Gundamala Colony people, Chandrashekar installed taps and solved the water issues by providing pure drinking water.
• As there is damage to the Pipelines of the Water tank in the village, she Renovated the pipelines with his own money.

Services Rendered During Dreadful Pandemic COVID-19-

• At a time when the corona epidemic was rampant, the announcement of the world lockdown was made in view of the poor who were struggling to make a living and provided food and essential goods for 50 days in a row to the poor living in the village.
• Due to the lockdown, as the migrants were unable to go to their native places and stay safe with their families, Chandrashekar provided financial assistance as well as food assistance to the migrants who were facing difficulties due to pandemics.
• Clothing and meals are provided to beggars living near roads and footpaths to live in every day.
• Under the auspices of Madakasira constituency MLA Shri. Dr. M. Thippeswamy, Despite the imposition of a global lockdown, services to the people were continued during the corona in collaboration with SI Seshagiri, Chandrashekar along fellow party leaders doing their part to help the police officers who are constantly working for the welfare of the people.

During Second Wave of Pandemic Services-

• Chandrashekar came forward to help the needy who have been affected by lockdown and distributed vegetables and fruits to the villagers, needy ones, and Municipality workers by following the precautions.
• Food item packets for drivers and migrant laborers were distributed whose livelihood has been affected during this lockdown period.
• Chandrashekar came forward with humanity to help those in dire straits during the corona and provide financial assistance to the people who are affected by the lockdown.
• He apportioned Masks, Sanitizers, and food to the poor and also contributed to them financially.
• To spread awareness about social distancing and following precautionary measures to prevent the Epidemic Corona an awareness program has been conducted.
• As part of the drive to eradicate the corona epidemic, Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for the safety of the village.
