Gundlapalli Kumarreddy

Gundlapalli Kumarreddy is an Indian Politician of the Yuvajana Shramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) and Mandal Convenor in Chagalamarri Mandal in Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh.

EARLY LIFE & EDUCATION:

Gundlapalli Kumarreddy was born to a couple of Mr. Pullareddy and Mrs. Bhagyamma, on 22nd April 1969 in Chagalamarri.

In 1985, Kumarreddy acquired his Secondary Board of Education from Zilla Parishad High School at Chagalamarri. He completed his Undergraduate from Vasavi Junior College in Chagalamarri.

A CAREER IN POLITICS:

Kumar Reddy began his Political Career by entering the Indian National Congress (INC), often called a Congress Party, to attain the political requirements of the people while also providing a specific service.

His ongoing dedication and genuine attention gained him the elected position of Vice President of Chagalamarri in 2005. 

After that, Kumar Reddy was Switches over to the YSRCP by Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy, the founder of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party(YSRCP) and the Present Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh,  

Kumarreddy was elected Mandal Vice President of the Co-operative Society in 2009.

In view of the efforts being made for the development of the party, in 2014, the people Selected as the post of YSRCP Mandal Convenor for Chagalamarri as well to further enhance his responsibilities so that he could stay closer to the people and monitor their well-being every moment.

FAMILY PARTICIPATION IN POLITICS:

As Kumarreddy was rendering his services to the people politically and socially, Kumar Reddy’s wife, Mrs. Lakshmi, contested as Chairman of ZPHS Girls High School and won with a huge majority of votes.

Kumarreddy’s wife, Gundlapalli Lakshmi Reddy, also entered politics and was elected to the ZPTC seat in 2021. Elected by the people to serve and satisfy the people.

Party Activities:

• He has constantly been fighting against anti-people decisions of the central and state governments and has staged many protests and dharnas.
• During Elections, he actively participated in the Door-to-Door election campaign and worked hard to bring more voters to win the party in his locality.
• He Participated in the Village development activities in the village like laying CC Roads, Digging Borewells, Putting up Street Lights, Clearance Drainage systems, and Solving water Problems.
• He was involved in the grand journey of the Public Will Yatra(Praja Sankalpa Yatra), Sakala Janula Samme, and actively involved and played a key role in the programs organized by YSRCP Party.
• He played the main role and actively participated in Foot March (Padayatra) long with Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy (The present Chief Minister of AP) all over the Constituencies to bring a special status to the party.
• Kumarreddy conveyed to the people the party’s greatness and the symbol and ideology of the YSRCP Party to the party leaders.
• He was briefing the people on the welfare schemes introduced by the government for the upliftment of the backward classes through a mobilization Program.

Social Activities:

• Kumarreddy offered financial support and other kinds of relief to the village’s needy people and will be accessible to its residents during their tough times.
• He expanded his efforts by supporting poor individuals and orphans who have been badly affected by the death of their families and providing a set sum for the well-being of death-stricken families.
• He Participated in Village development activities like the Clearance of Drainage systems and Solving water Problems.
• He Helps in providing pensions to the elderly, Handicapped, and widows. And he helps the poor people in the village.

Services Rendered during dreadful Pandemic:

• Kumarreddy acted humanely during the crisis, assisting individuals in distress and providing additional assistance to those afflicted by the lockdown.
• He offered masks, sanitizers, and meals to the underprivileged, as well as financial assistance.
• During the crisis, he responded generously, aiding those in need and giving special support to those impacted by the lockdown.
• He distributed Blankets, Fruits to the old age people and donated dresses and food to the orphans.
• For the public’s protection, sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all around the village to eliminate the corona outbreak.
• During the corona epidemic, medicines were distributed free of charge, raising awareness of the need to be careful before contracting corona disease.
