Gosu Madhu

Mr. Gosu Madhu is an Eminent Indian Politician from INC Party and MPP of Konijerla in Khammam District of Telangana State.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION:

On the the10th of September 1981, Madhu was born and raised by the couple Mr. Gosu Basavaiah and Mrs. Gosu Laxmi in the Village of Kondavanamala in Konijerla Mandal of Khammam District in the Indian State of Telangana.

He acquired his SSC Standard from Zilla Parishad High School at Pedamunagala, Khammama, in 1997 and completed his Intermediate Education in 1999 from Pragathi Junior  College at Khammam.

He attained his Graduation of B.Com from Shantinikethan Degree College at Khammam in 2002 and extended his education and completed B.Ed.

CAREER IN POLITICS:

Madhu’s entry into the All India Students’ Federation (AISF) in 2000 marked the beginning of his political journey toward advocating for improving students’ lives in India. As the oldest student organization in the country, the AISF has played a significant role in shaping India’s political landscape. Through the AISF, Madhu sought to promote peace, development, and scientific socialism. These three principles served as a guiding light for him throughout his political career.

As an Active Member of the AISF, Madhu worked tirelessly to ensure the organization’s success. His commitment to the party’s goals and objectives was unwavering, and he dedicated himself to the cause from the day he joined until the day he left. Through his work with the AISF, Madhu developed a deep understanding of the challenges that students face in India, and he sought to address these challenges through his political career.

In 2001, Madhu was appointed as the AISF Mandal Secretary of Konijerla. This role allowed him to assist the people and address their concerns by efficiently carrying out his duties and following the party’s principles and standards. As the Mandal Secretary, Madhu worked tirelessly to improve the lives of the people in his community. He was a champion of social justice and equity and worked to promote these values within the party and the broader community.

Madhu’s commitment to public service and tireless work ethic earned him a reputation as a dedicated and influential leader. He promoted himself as the District Council Member of Khammam from AISF, and he actively participated in every activity, carrying out his duties in line with a code of conduct and for the public exposure of the party. His work with the AISF paved the way for his future political career, which would see him continue to work toward improving society.

In 2016, Madhu joined the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), formerly the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). The Telangana state’s first Chief Minister, Kalvakuntla Chandra Sekhar Rao, founded the BRS and has since become a significant political force. Madhu’s decision to join the BRS was a natural progression in his political career, as he sought to continue his work toward the betterment of society through political means.

As a member of the BRS, Madhu continued to work towards the party’s goals and objectives. He was elevated to the position of Mandal Incharge of Konijerla, where he promoted the proper focus towards the need for effective and comprehensive expansion in people by doing his part to overcome the hardships faced by the people. His work as the Mandal Incharge of Konijerla earned him a reputation as a dedicated and influential leader committed to the people’s welfare.

During the elections in 2019, Madhu put in a great deal of effort independently during the election campaign to contest the position of Ward Member of Kondavanamala. The people elected him to serve them with political authority. This was a significant achievement for Madhu, as it demonstrated the trust and confidence the people of Kondavanamala had in his leadership abilities.

Madhu’s exemplary leadership and unwavering dedication to fulfilling his commitments have earned him the unwavering admiration and support of the people. By staying faithful to his obligations and leveraging his powers to effect positive change, Madhu has proven himself to be a capable and trustworthy public servant. This was reflected in his election as the MPTC of Konijerla, Telangana, in 2020, of BRS, with the majority of 860 votes. Through his selfless service and compassion, Madhu has touched the lives of many and garnered a positive response from the people.

For his impressive performance during his services, Madhu was chosen as the MPP of Konijerla from BRS in 2020. This was a significant achievement for Madhu, demonstrating the party’s confidence in his leadership abilities. As the MPP of Konijerla, Madhu has continued to work tirelessly for the people, leveraging all of his capabilities and pursuing his satisfying life of public welfare from the time he was handed the position. In July 2023, Gosu Madhu, inspired by the actions of leader Ponguleti Srinivas, made the decision to align himself with the Indian National Congress party, formally joining its ranks. This momentous occasion took place in the presence of Ponguleti Srinivas, further underscoring the significance of this transition for both individuals.

Activities Performed:

• Gous Madhu is a prominent figure in the political circles of Telangana, owing to his active involvement in various social and political initiatives. 
• He is known to be a loyal follower of Ponguleti Srinivas, the former Member of Parliament from the Khammam constituency. 
• Madhu’s association with Srinivas dates back to the Telangana movement, during which he played an active role in the Kothagudem Padayatra.
• Apart from his political affiliations, Madhu has also been involved in several social initiatives aimed at uplifting the marginalized sections of society. 
• One of his notable contributions in this regard has been the arrangement of power generation for double-room houses in the Konijerla Mandal, worth Rs. 50,000. This has dramatically improved the living conditions of the people in the region.
• Madhu has also been actively involved in philanthropic activities, such as blood donation camps, especially on Ponguleti Srinivas’s birthday, where he personally donates blood every year. 
• He has also extended financial and humanitarian support to flood victims, helped in the cremation of the dead, and supported the development of temples and organized events during festivals.
• Madhu has been a strong advocate for the welfare of the poor and has taken several steps to ensure their upliftment. He has personally distributed rice and essential items to the village’s poor and supported poor students in education and livelihood.
• As a staunch supporter of Ponguleti Srinivas, Madhu has played an active role in election campaigns, organizing meetings, committees, and other events. 
• He has also fought for the rights of college students on issues such as fee reimbursements, hostel bills, and other related matters.
•  Madhu has also been involved in various initiatives to empower youth, such as organizing awareness campaigns for job placements for graduates.
• Madhu’s contributions to the development of the village are commendable, as he has taken several initiatives to improve the basic infrastructure. 
• He has been instrumental in laying CC roads, clearing drainage, setting up streetlights, and providing water taps.
•  Madhu has also actively ensured that society’s poor and marginalized sections have access to government schemes such as pensions, ration cards, and other financial benefits.
• Gous Madhu’s political and social contributions to society have been significant. His commitment to the welfare of the poor and marginalized sections of society and his involvement in the development of the village is laudable.
