I am Gorakapudi Chinnayyadora, an Indian politician and proud member of the Jai Bharat National Party, currently serving as the President of Bharat Matha Seva Parishat, a charitable organization based in Andhra Pradesh. My journey in politics commenced in 1985 when I joined the Indian National Congress, dedicating myself to public service and holding various positions at the town and district levels. Notably, from 1995 to 2000, I represented the people as a councilor in the Tadepalligudem Municipality, eventually being elected as the President of the Andhra Pradesh State Municipal Councillors Chamber Association.

Born to Mr. Gorakapudi Chakradara Rao and Mrs. Gorakapudi Chandravathi, his early life was shaped by the values and experiences of this close-knit community. Gorakapudi Chinnayyadora successfully completed his Secondary School Certificate (SSC) education at Zilla Parishad High School in Vellurthi. In 1995, As a of President of the Andhra Pradesh State Municipal Councillor Chamber, Chinnayyadora actively championed the cause of state councillors’ welfare. He submitted a petition to the then Chief Minister, Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, emphasizing the importance of the State Treasury Department taking responsibility for the welfare of state councillors and the salaries of municipal staff.

Unanswered Appeals and Statewide Efforts

Despite his sincere efforts, the issues raised in 1995 were met with silence from the government in 1996. Undeterred, Chinnayyadora organized a conference of Andhra Pradesh Municipal councillors in Tadepalligudem. Despite repeated attempts to draw the government’s attention to the concerns, Consequently, meetings were convened in various parts of the state to address the ongoing challenges.

In solidarity with his cause, State Municipal councillors Assembly meetings were convened, and the assembly was besieged. Unfortunately, instead of engaging in a constructive dialogue, the government responded with illegal arrests, underscoring the lengths to which Chinnayyadora went to fight for justice.
