Gongalla Ranjith Kumar is a Social Activist, Founder, and President of Nadigadda Porata Samithi at Bheem Nagar in Gadwal from the State of  Telangana.

Ranjith Kumar is a dedicated social activist, passionate about community service and positive change. He actively engaged in various initiatives, advocating for people’s rights and aspirations during the Telangana movement. He played a significant role in championing the Gadwal district’s identity and development demands. In 2018, as a contested MLA from Bahujana Left Front, he advocated for marginalized communities.

His establishment of Nadigadda Hakkula Porata Samithi empowered the people locally. Vithana Pathi Rythu Udyamalu for the welfare of the Farmers and Votu Chaitanya Yatra to empower the voters about the importance of Vote, Ranjith fearlessly fought for people’s rights against governmental authorities. Personal Life:

On the 10th of June 1984, Gongalla Ranjith Kumar was born and raised by the couple Mr. Gongalla Yellappa and Mrs.Gongalla Manikyamma in Chintalakunta Village in Gadwal District from the Indian State of  Telangana.

In 1998, Gongalla Ranjith Kumar acquired his Secondary School Certificate from Government Boys High School in Gadwal. He completed his intermediate course at Somanadri Junior College at Gadwal in 2001.

In 2005, he Acquired his Graduation from B.Com at Nisha Degree College in Gadwal. In 2008, he completed his Post Graduation from MBA at Osmania University in Hyderabad. He is Pursuing his LLB from Padala Ramareddy Law College in Hyderabad.

Key Participation of  Mr. Ranjith Kumar

 Engagement in BC Yuvajana Sangam:(2006-2008)

In 2006, Ranjith Kumar joined the BC Yuvajana Sangam, along with the Tulla Devender Goud, and he enthusiastically took part in dharnas and protests for the welfare and development of the neighborhood. He was the head and Founder of the BC Yuvajana Sangam.

Through his tireless efforts and dedication, Ranjith Kumar has sustained the trust and faith that the party and people have bestowed upon him. He was in the Sangam from 2006 to 2008. He remains committed to his role in contributing to the growth and expansion of the party. He will continue to work towards ensuring that the party’s initiatives benefit the people and society as a whole.

Such was his dedication and leadership that, in 2012, he was entrusted with the position of State Committee Member of  BC Sangam, a testament to his dedication to the party’s values and vision. Throughout his tenure, Ranjith Kumar has remained steadfast in pursuing progress and prosperity for all, demonstrating an unflagging determination to serve his constituents.

Role in Nava Telangana Praja Party:(2008)

The Nava Telangana Praja Party (NTPP) was a political party in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It was founded by Tulla Devender Goud with the aim of achieving statehood for Telangana. Gongalla Ranjith Kumar was a member of the NTPP and actively participated in various dharnas and demonstrations organized by the party.

As a member of the NTPP, Ranjith Kumar worked towards advocating for the rights and welfare of the people of Telangana. He participated in various demonstrations and dharnas, along with Devender Goud, to raise awareness about the issues faced by the people of the region.

Through his efforts, Ranjith Kumar was able to create a strong voice for the people of Telangana and helped to push for the realization of the statehood for Telangana. He worked tirelessly to ensure that the needs and aspirations of the people of Telangana were heard and that their issues were addressed.

Participation in Telangana Movement:(2004-2014)

Ranjith Kumar was a crucial figure in the Telangana Movement, which sought to create a new state out of the existing Andhra Pradesh in India. From 2004 to 2014, he actively participated in various social programs and events, including the Million March, Bike Rallies, and Dharanas, to promote the cause of Telangana statehood.

During the movement,  Ranjith Kumar demonstrated his unwavering commitment to the cause by being imprisoned and enduring the hardships that came with it. He also played a critical role in organizing the Rasta Roko and Sakala Janula Samme protests, setting up Vanta Varpu during the former to draw attention to the cause.

A role for Gadwal District:(2015-2016)

After the Telangana Movement, Gongalla Ranjith Kumar returned to Gadwal and participated actively in the Gadwal District Movement. He participated in many rallies and dharnas and also participated in the protest for the Gadwal district. With his tremendous work and role, the government officially declared Gadwal a district.

Contested Position:(2018)

Ranjith Kumar’s decision to contest for the post of MLA in the 2018 elections from the Bahujan Left Front (BLF) Party was unsuccessful in winning the seat. It is incredibly disheartening to hear that the opponent from the ruling party was given the position due to a slight discrepancy in the vote percentage.

Ranjith Kumar’s willingness to participate in the political process and his commitment to the BLF Party demonstrates his dedication to public service and his belief in the power of democratic institutions to effect change. Nadigadda  Hakkula Porata Samithi:(2019)

In 2019,  Ranjith Kumar established the Nadigadda  Hakkula Porata Samithi in the Gadwal constituency, and he was the founder and President of the Nadigadda  Hakkula Porata Samithi. As a responsible Person, he has executed his duties with a sense of purpose and accountability toward the people. By following a code of conduct and adhering to ethical standards, he has earned the recognition and respect of his constituents.

Nadigadda is the name referred to as it was in Between the Tungabhadra River and the Krishna River, it is a region that has witnessed the dedicated efforts of “Ranjith Kumar” in championing the cause of its people and advocating for its distinct identity and recognition. Over the years, Ranjith Kumar has emerged as a prominent social activist and leader, passionately striving for the welfare and upliftment of the community residing in Nadigadda.

Dharna on Cotton Seeds for Four Years:(2019-2022)

Ranjith Kumar is an individual who has been actively involved in advocating for the rights of farmers in the Gadwal constituency. In particular, he has been fighting for reasonable prices for cotton seeds, which is the major crop in the area.

For four years, Ranjith Kumar engaged in a struggle to bring about fair prices for cotton seeds. He organized a dharna, or a nonviolent protest, in front of the collector’s office to draw attention to the issue. During this time, he had to combat with 5,000 members to ensure that his voice was heard and that the farmers he represented received the fair treatment they deserved.

The involvement of mediators between the company and the farmers had been a major hurdle in ensuring that farmers received fair compensation for their crops. Despite the fact that the productivity of the cotton seed crops in Gadwal was worth over 15000 Hundred Crore in a year, the farmers were not receiving a decent income due to the involvement of these mediators.

Ranjith Kumar took it upon himself to conduct meetings between the mediators and the collector. In these meetings, he explained the general issues faced by the farmers and emphasized the need for farmers to receive proper financial support for their cotton seeds. He conducted these meetings four times, demonstrating his commitment to finding a solution to the problem.

Ranjith Kumar’s four-year struggle for fair cotton seed prices demonstrates his dedication to advocating for the rights of farmers and ensuring that they receive the compensation they deserve. Fights for the Benefits against Government:(2020)

Ranjith Kumar fights with the government for not fulfilling their responsibilities. When the government promised to complete the duties for the constituency, and they failed to complete such promises, Ranjith kumar questioned them for the rights and welfare of the people in the Gadwal.

Votu Chaitanya Yatra:(2021)

Ranjith Kumar conducted the Votu Chaitanya Yatra. This yatra will provide the motivation and aspiration for the right to vote. Akunuri Murali, a retired IAS officer, established the Social Democratic Forum (SDF) with the primary goal of promoting the development of schools and hospitals in the state of Telangana. The organization was created against the concerns about the Telangana government’s approach to these crucial sectors.

SDF Co-Convenor, Dr. Prudhvi Raj Yadav is a key person of the SDF, where he works closely with Akunuri Murali IAS (Retired) to achieve the organization’s goals. Together, they have successfully gathered support for different social and economic causes, such as healthcare, education, and employment.

During this initiative, Gongalla Ranjith Kumar actively participated and collaborated with Akunuri Murali to drive progress and growth. Schools Development Programmes:(2021-2022)

He established an NGO dedicated to addressing street-related causes and initiated transformative projects in villages such as Upperu, Bijjaram, and Boyalagudem. Through his NGO’s efforts, he brought about positive changes that significantly improved the lives of the residents in these rural communities.

One of the key areas of focus for Ranjith Kumar’s NGO was enhancing educational facilities in these villages. To achieve this, they constructed new classrooms in existing schools and provided essential amenities like toilets, which not only improved the overall learning environment but also promoted better sanitation practices among students.

To this end, Ranjith Kumar personally visited all the schools in the Gadwal constituency to understand the conditions and challenges faced by students. Atma Gourava Padayatra: (2023)

In his latest effort to support the farmers, he conducted a foot march called the Atma Gourava Padayatra, which was aimed at highlighting the needs and requirements of farmers in the area.

The foot march, which commenced on March 17th, 2023, spanned a duration of 20 days, covering a remarkable distance of approximately 400 kilometers. Throughout this arduous journey, Ranjith Kumar made it a point to personally visit every village along the way. He engaged in extensive discussions with the villagers, earnestly seeking to comprehend the challenges that were adversely impacting their lives.

The Atma Gourava Padayatra was an opportunity for Ranjith Kumar to connect with people at a grassroots level and hear firsthand about their struggles and challenges. By conducting this foot march, he was able to demonstrate his commitment to serving the people of Gadwal and his dedication to fighting for their rights and interests.

Throughout the 15 days of the foot march, Ranjith Kumar walked long distances, braving the hot sun and inclement weather conditions, to reach out to people in the remotest of villages. He engaged in discussions with farmers, women, youth, and other community members to learn about their concerns and to offer solutions to their problems.

The Atma Gourava Padayatra was a significant effort by Ranjith Kumar to bring attention to the issues affecting farmers in Gadwal and to find solutions to their problems. Through his commitment and dedication, he has been able to demonstrate his leadership and advocacy for the people, and his efforts are sure to have a positive impact on the lives of those he seeks to serve.

Support to BC, SC& ST:

• During the initial and subsequent waves of the Coronavirus outbreak, the individual in question exhibited a commendable sense of compassion by providing financial and humanitarian aid to those affected by the resulting lockdowns. This aid was extended to individuals who were suffering due to the imposed restrictions, demonstrating a willingness to go above and beyond to support the community during a time of crisis.
• In addition to assisting the pandemic, this individual has also been involved in the provision of essential supplies to communities suffering from water scarcity as a result of Covid-19 restrictions. This demonstrates a strong sense of social responsibility and a commitment to supporting those in need.
• Once the coronavirus outbreak had been eradicated, measures were taken to ensure that the community remained safe from any negative consequences of the virus. This included the spraying of a sodium hypochlorite solution throughout the hamlet, which helped to eliminate any potential traces of the virus and safeguard the health and well-being of the people.
• Ranjith Kumar launched the Covid Immunization Drive in response to the call made by Prime Minister Modi to raise public awareness about the importance of obtaining a free corona immunization. This initiative aimed to promote vaccination as an effective means of preventing the spread of the virus and protecting the wider community from potential harm.
