Gonegandla Boya Laxman often referred to by his initials GB Laxman, is an Indian politician and the current Gudur Municipal 2nd Vice Chairman from Kurnool District in the respective State of Andhra Pradesh.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION:

He was born on 18th-August-1993 and raised in a small census town of Gudur of Kurnool district in the state of Andhra Pradesh. His parents were Gonagantla Boya Rangadu & Lingamma.

In the year 2008, He completed Higher Board of Education from ZP Boys High School resided at Gudur. Further, he went to undergraduate from Government Junior College located at Gudur.

Since going to SR Degree College placed at Gudur, Laxman started his Graduation and completed it in the year 2013.

EARLY POLITICAL CAREER:

Since childhood, he has been exposed to political characteristics. In the decade 2020, Laxman has begun his political career by joining the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) founded by currently designated as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and President of YSRCP YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

In the respective year, he worked in the assigned position as Councilor for the 4th ward from Gudur in the district of Kurnool by discharging his duties with a code of conduct till 2021.

As being a part of YSRCP, he expresses keen interest and performs every activity for the recognition of the respective party. From the day of inception into politics to the present day, he has been working tirelessly for the welfare of the people, constantly striving for the development of the party and the society, and was rendering desperate service to the society through the positions she has been appointed to.

After governing the people through difficult times, his designation has been relocated to Gudur Municipal 2nd Vice Chairman from Kurnool in 2021, and began working for the welfare of people and discharging his duties by being very cautious during performing the activities of the Party.

From the day of inception into politics to the present day, he has been working tirelessly for the welfare of the people, constantly striving for the development of the party and the society, and was rendering desperate service to the society through the positions he has been appointed to.

YSRCP Party Activities:

• He accompanied many Mandal levels and District level party meetings and also organized Party Membership Programs.
• Many party development programs were carried out in the village for the growth of the party and he respectably accepts the work assigned by the higher authorities and is completely involved to sort out the issues raised on any topics.
• He joined a large group of people at the party and helped them when they needed it.
• Laxman actively engaged in the Party’s initiatives and participates in them.
• He enthusiastically engages in the Door-to-Door election campaign and works hard to bring in more voters to won the party in his locality.
• He organized and was involved in Political Party Joining meetings.
• He has been serving and assisting the party members whenever they are in need.
• Many party development programs were carried out in the village for the growth of the party.

He Extended his Services and Contributed Developmental Activities:

• He held and implemented many instrumental Development activities in Gudur as part of the intention that the Gudur should become a role model to neighboring colonies.
• Like he resolved the problems of village developmental issues and also involved in many Social service events like Haritha Haram, Clean and Green, Casting of Plants, and Palle Pragathi.
• He installed bore wells in the village of Gudur to prevent water shortages.
• conducted activities in the village like laying of CC Roads, Putting up Street Lights, Clearance of Drainage systems, and Solving water Problems.
• To solve the water problem in every house of Gudur Colony people Laxman installed taps and solved the water issues by providing pure drinking water.
• As there is damage to the Pipelines of the Water tank in the village, he Renovated the pipelines with his own money.

Laxman Services as a Councilor:

• He handed over the title deeds to the beneficiaries in Gudur village as part of the YSR Housing Scheme implemented by the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
• Every year in the month of March he makes the householders pay the housing tax.
• He fought and solved many issues and gave Pensions like -Widow Pension,old-age pensions, Handicapped Pensions, and also dispensed White Ration Cards in Gudur village.
• He set up Health Camps for those in desperate need, and he took control of their lives by taking them into Government hospitals. He was a powerless servant to people living in poverty.
• Laxman organized a blood donation camp in the village of Guduru and donated blood to the extreme people.
• This program has started with the thought of no INDIAN should die with lack of blood and by implementing into reality started a group with countable members and started donating all the blood- Normal groups, Negative Groups, Rare Groups across INDIA with the help of donors.
• Laxman gave Corporation loans to the people of his village Implementation of Economic Support and sheltered them by providing needed requirements whenever they were in need.
• Accompanying Jagan by Seva Mitra, Laxman implemented Navratna welfare schemes and played a key role which was introduced by Jagan to work for the proper implementation of welfare schemes, for everyone who is entitled to them, regardless of politics, and for transparent governance.

Social Services:

•   Laxman has performed many developmental programs and social activities for the welfare of the people.
• He fights over the problems of the people, for the welfare of the people.
• Laxman fight over every issue raised in the town and persistently worked to solve the issues.
• Laxman has helped the community by supplying meals to the elderly and orphaned children, as well as mineral water to the residents.
• He carries out his responsibilities while looking after the welfare of the people living in the village and zone by clearing the issues related to Water, Drainages, and every minute problem to the individual.
• He expanded his efforts by supporting poor individuals and orphans who have been badly affected by the assassination of their families, as well as by providing a set sum for the well-being of death-stricken families.
• He aided the village’s elderly and needy residents by supplying them with necessities for survival and by assisting them during financial hardships.
• He always stood by the people of the Village and Mandal. Many of the development programs were a resounding success.
• As his Passion is to serve the people unquestionably he gave his hands to serve and hearts to serve by rendering the service selflessly.
• Laxman fights over every issue raised in the town and worked to solve the issues.
• He is constantly striving and fighting for the well-being of the people.

Services Rendered during dreadful Pandemic:

During First Wave of Corona-

• Laxman stepped forward to help the needy who have been affected by lockdown and distributed vegetables and fruits to the villagers, needy ones, and Municipality workers by following the precautions.
• Food item packets for drivers and migrant laborers were distributed whose livelihood has been affected during this lockdown period.
• Laxman moved forward with humanity to help those in dire straits during the corona and provided financial assistance to the people who are affected by the lockdown.
• He apportioned Masks, Sanitizers, and delivered varities of food to the poor, and also contributed to them financially.
• To spread awareness about social distancing and following precautionary measures to prevent the Epidemic Corona an awareness program has been conducted.
• As part of the drive to eradicate the corona epidemic, Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for safety of the village.

During the Second Wave of Corona-

• Laxman also provided free masks and sanitizers to people with corona deficiency symptoms at the hospital.
• He worked all days(Day and Night) during the covid period and looked after the people.
• He contributed Beds, Proper medicines in public and private hospitals. Laxman talked to the doctors and said to provide better healing in Government Hospitals.
• He has asked the government to include the cost of corona illness treatment in the Arogyasree card, claiming that the booming corona disease is killing middle-class and impoverished families who cannot afford proper treatment at home.
• He constantly prays for the corona victims that they should get well soon in these critical periods.
• Laxman used to provide meals and medicines to those in the home quartine who were infected with the desired disease.
• He is constantly available mainly to the poorest people in the zone.
