Gidda Raju is a Social Activist and the Founder & State President of Student Right of Education(S.R.E) in Telangana.
EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION:
On the 06th of July 1989, Raju was born to the couple Mr. Gidda Narsimha and Mrs. Gidda Sattemma in the village of Marikal in Thimmajipet Mandal of Nagarkurnool District in the state of Telangana in India.
Raju acquired his Secondary Board of Education in 2007 from Zilla Parishad High School located at Badepally in Jadcherla and completed his Intermediate course in 2009 from Spoorthy Vocational Junior College placed at Mahabubnagar, Telangana.
He attained his I.T.I Course in 2011 from Srinivasa ITI College situated at Jadcherla of Mahabubnagar in Telangana.
CAREER IN SOCIAL LIFE:
Education is not a means of earning a livelihood, but of becoming competent enough to contribute to the world through a respectable career. To inculcate the true ideals of an educated individual, the conventional education system must be reinvented.
Based on this Aspect, Raju has established a Student Right of Education in 2017 to build future leaders who will be able to guide and progress the development of their communities and It is a far-reaching project aimed at improving school education.
S.R.E. is a child development organization that operates extensively throughout India, particularly in the southern state of Telangana. S.R.E. involves the development of children through promoting their rights, education, quality care, assistance, and protection.
Raju is acting as the Founder and the State president of the Student Right of Education and carrying out activities that benefit the people by assisting those in need, he earned the adoration of the whole society. His early commitment to th change in Education System gained him a reputation as an educated man.
Primary Objective: The objective is to develop learners into creative, introspective, confident people with a compassionate attitude toward diversity and pride in their history, as well as leaders with intellectual and practical abilities to make constructive, long-term decisions.
Activities performed through the S.R.E:
- A Good Education is a Foundation for a Better Future. He has been serving as a boon to students from the weaker sections of society by providing them with financial assistance that includes their tuition and accommodation fees for their entire course.
- S.R.E’s mission is to provide an equal distribution of resources, access to employment, inexpensive high-quality food, education, health-care services, environmentally friendly energy, safe drinking water, and adequate sanitation.
- The S.R.E considers education as a means of guiding orphans out of poverty and will place a strong focus on play-based learning and vocational training to prepare youngsters to enter adulthood and provide for themselves and their families.
- Education is the only way to break the pattern of generations living in such deplorable circumstances. Because children are our future, the S.R.E can guarantee that orphans have a brighter future with your aid and generosity. based on that, an Awareness program was set up at the schools and the institutes by raising awareness about the importance of education.
- Raju built a positive platform for the children’s bright futures by hosting an awareness session to educate them about the value of education in school.
- He laid a big platform for the bright future of the students by organizing an awareness seminar to inform them about the importance of education in College.
- Raju fights for job reservations for students who are struggling to find a decent job after the conclusion of their education to lead their livelihood.
- Raju is striving hard to establish a training/education centre as well as a health centre and Education for children; providing scholarships/financial assistance to disadvantaged rural/village people in order to aid their overall development.
- Raju and his fellow leader have staged a dharna to provide all students with corporate education opportunities and Outstanding scholarships should be made available as soon as humanly possible.
- He fought for that Higher education should be equally accessible to students from all backgrounds, including SC, ST, BC, minority, and lower-caste students.
- Raju built a positive platform for the children’s bright futures by hosting an awareness session to educate them about the value of education in school.
- As a combination of every service activity that benefits the poor and needy, He created a great platform for 3 orphans to begin their lives for their bright future by joining them in Schools.
- Raju expanded his efforts by supporting poor individuals and orphans who have been badly affected by the assassination of their families, as well as by providing a set sum for the well-being of death-stricken families.
- He has taken up the responsibility to protect child rights and especially ensure that no child is subjected to the drudgery of work and exploitation.
- Every Year On the occasion Dr. B.R. Ambedhkar Birth Anniversary, Raju Celebrates the occasion by recalling the services he provided to the nation and he favours those who work in line with the ideals of Ambedkar and Phule.
Social Activities:
- He has provided many job opportunities to the graduated students who are being unemployed after their education.
- Raju helped the old and poor people in the village by providing the essentials to them for survival and also assisted them during financial crises.
- He financially assisted the poor people in the village and also helped them in all possible ways when needed.
- He extended his services by assisting poor people who are deeply affected by the assassination of their families by donating a certain amount for their well-being.
- Raju has performed many social activities in the village such as providing food to the Old aged and Orphan Children, Mineral water to the Villagers.
- He carries out his responsibilities while looking after the welfare of the people living in the village and zone by clearing the issues related to Water, Drainage, and every minute problem to the individual.
- Raju has participated in a variety of community activities in the village, supplying meals to the elderly and orphan children, as well as delivering mineral water to the villagers.
- Drug-related illnesses and problems were brought to the attention of students and faculty at schools and institutions.
- He fights for the people’s concerns and the welfare of the people, and many of the colony’s development plans have been a resounding success as a result of his efforts.
- An outdoor playground has been built on the school grounds for the benefit of the kids’ mental growth, and they may enjoy themselves while playing during their free time.
- A concession request was made, requesting the medical staff to cut the medical fees of the impoverished individuals who were being treated at the hospital.
- The right to education legislation has been implemented, and the weaker parts of society have been struggling for the money that has been sanctioned under the 25 percent reservation provision for their education. The Central Government enacted the Bill as a consequence of Raju’s unrelenting efforts.
- Raju created awareness among parents about the importance of education and highlighted the benefits being provided by the Government to take this education to their doorstep.
- Raju implemented the Badi Bata Program to increase enrolment by visiting parents and community people in the school catchment region. The program was supported by the Head Master, instructors, and members of the School Management Committee.
- Grants are raised, and financial support is offered to people who aspire to pursue a higher level of educational achievement.
- Obtaining money from the government and putting them to use for the growth of public schools as well as the resolution of tense situations in the classroom.
- In spite of the fact that the government has sanctioned Rs 83 crore, Raju is battling to have the funds put into effect as quickly as possible, arguing that they have not yet been fully implemented.
- From first to eighth grade, Raju had the audacity to insist that private schools give a minimum of free education for their future growth.
Services rendered during the covid-19 Pandemic:
- Raju came forward to help the needy who have been affected by lockdown and distributed vegetables and fruits to the villagers, needy ones, and Municipality workers by following the precautions.
- Food item packets for drivers and migrant labourers were distributed whose livelihood has been affected during this lockdown period. Raju came forward with humanity to help those in dire straits during the corona and provide financial assistance to the people who are affected by the lockdown.
- He apportioned Masks, Sanitizers, and food to the poor and also contributed to them financially.
- To spread awareness about social distancing and following precautionary measures to prevent the Epidemic Corona an awareness program has been conducted.
- As part of the drive to eradicate the corona epidemic, Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for safety of the village.
- Raju also provided free masks and sanitizers to people with corona deficiency symptoms at the hospital.
- Dharna was held and protests were demonstrated in support of the reopening of government and residential schools that had been shuttered as a result of the corona.
- The Covid Immunization Drive was organised in response to Prime Minister Modi’s plea in order to increase awareness among the general population about the need of acquiring a free corona vaccination.
