Gadikota Srikanth Reddy is a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of YRSCP from Rayachoti Constituency was elected for the first time during the 2009 Assembly elections. He was born on 01-01-1977 to Mohan Reddy and Krishnamma in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh.

He completed SSC in Nirmala High School, Kadapa. In 1996, He attained B.Tech from Siddaganga Institute of Technology in Tumakuru, Banglore. He went to the USA and worked there for 7 years as an employee.

He has been an active member of the American Telugu Association before entering into AP politics. His father Gadikota Mohan Reddy is also a politician and MLA representing the Lakkireddypalle assembly constituency (YSR district) during the years 2004-2009.

In 2009, he started his political journey with the Congress Party. In 2009, he became the Member of the Legislative Assembly(MLA) of Rayachoti after defeating the sitting MLA.

In 2012, he joined the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party(YSRCP). In 2014, he was re-elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Andhra Pradesh. On 01-April-2017, Reddy demands that Tirupati be made the second capital of Andhra Pradesh chief whip of Jagan Cabinet.

In 2019, he was elected as MLA from Rayachoti, Kadapa. On 12.06.2019 he selected as Govt. Chief Whip in Andhra Pradesh from YRSP.
