Erram Chandra Sekhar (Erram Sekhar) is an Indian politician from the south Indian state of Telangana, He is Serving as the current SC Cell Leader of Musheerabad from the TRS Party.

Born & Education

He was born in Musheerabad, Telangana on 16-May-1966. His parents were Jagadish & Laxmi Bhai.

He received his Secondary School Certificate at karmika Vidhya Samastha resided in RTC Cross Road in 1981 and completed Intermediate at Ambedkar Junior College.

Political Life

Chandra Sekhar debuted into active politics at a very young age with great interest and with the idea of serving the people through the Indian National Congress (INC) in 1983.

Since the date of joining the Party, He has been working as an Active Member who worked all day and involves in every organized Party meeting and works for the growth and development of the Party and Village.

In 1983, Chandra Sekhar was designated as the SC Cell Incharge of Musheerabad Division and served with gratitude and constantly worked hard for the People and community development.

In the span of time Chandra Sekhar swapped to Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in 1987 and In 1989, Chandra Sekhar was appointed as the Booth Incharge of Musheerabad by playing a pivotal role in strengthening the unity and struggles of the working-class in the party and He was in the TDP up to the year 1993.

In 2001, He resigned from the TDP and contrasted with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi Party (often called as TRS) under the auspicious of K. Chandrashekar Rao at Ramnagar.

The day he joined the Party, he worked beyond his means for the development of the party and performed very hard for the victory of the party.

For his excellent performance during the process of his service in 2009, He was appointed as the General Secretary of Telangana Mala Mahanadu Committee, Greater Hyderabad by fulfilling the tasks assigned to him and won the admiration of the people.

His constant attention and pure dedication towards the service made him promoted to the SC Cell President of Musheerabad Division from the TRS in 2016 to promote the right perspective towards the need for holistic and sustainable development in people by doing his part to alleviate the hardships faced by the people till date.

He served as the Senior Leader and a Member of JAC by doing his part to better society by carrying out his duties properly and following the rules and regulations of the party.

Constantly striving for the welfare of the people and expressing his feelings of service, he provided a kind of encouragement with a passion to serve the people as being an SC Cell Leader of Musheerabad in 2019 and has been served with gratitude and constantly worked hard for the committed position.

From then until now, he has been serving in the Honorable positions that were assigned and doing his part to better society by carrying out his duties properly and following the rules and regulations of the party.

simultaneously he is fulfilling his family responsibilities and proportionally balancing the multiple works.

Telangana Agitation

From 2001-2014, Chandra Shekar played an active role in the Telangana Movement spearheaded by now-CM, K.Chandra Shekar Rao and also took part in Sakala Janula Samme, Hunger Strike, Million March, Chalo Hyderabad, Vanta Varpu, Bahiranga Sabha, Rasta Rocos, and Protest programs, Bike Rallies.

During the movement, Along with the TRS Party leaders and party Activists, Chandra Sekhar went on a protest in Delhi for 7 days and besieged the (AICC) All India Congress Committee.

subsequently, a case has been registered on Chandra Sekhar during these protests and dharna, and He was badly beaten under judicial custody. He is one of the great leaders who struggled and fought for the separate Telangana.

        Party Activities

• TRS Party duty and responsibilities and policies are explained to party activists and workers from time to time. He is constantly being fought over the People’s problems and petitions are being handed over to the concerned authorities.
• During Elections, he actively participated in the Door-to-Door election campaign, worked hard to win the party in his locality, and played a key role in the 2014 election campaign.
• He accompanied many Mandal levels and District level party meetings in the town and also organized Party Membership Programs. Many party development programs were carried out in the village for the growth of the party.
• His hard work and commitment towards the work made him struggle hard to make his dreams and goals come true, and finally, he is rose to the top. He served under the TRS party by helping the below-poverty students unconditionally irrespective of their caste.
• He fights over every issue raised in the town and persistently worked to solve the issues. As a party activist, he will be available to the people in their difficult times.
• He is constantly being fought over the People’s problems and petitions are being handed over to the concerned authorities. Chandra Shekar struggled to make government schemes available to the people in the village and created awareness about the importance of schemes.
• He fought for the Reservations, Rights, and Land issues of backward and low caste communities and also on the issues of the villagers.

Welfare Activities

• He organized the blood camp and medical camp in the village and donated the blood for the needy people and financially assisted the poor people in the village and helped them in all possible ways.
• He distributed fruits and medicines to the unhealthy students and needy people in the village and assisted the death-affected family financially for their survival.
• He fought and solved the issues like pensions, Ration cards, Health cards, and also the issue relating to Aadhar cards and He will assist those who come to him for help and provide the essential things that they require.
• Every year, he celebrates Freedom Fighters Birth anniversaries, distributes food packets to the villagers, Distributed Books, pads, and Stationary things to High School Students, and motivates them to score high marks.
• He conducted Village development activities in the village like laying of CC Roads, Digging of Borewells, Putting up Street Lights, Clearance of Drainage systems, and Solving water Problems.
• Conducted many party meetings and development activities for community development. Conducted Annadhanam Program, which is served and satisfied many hungry people.
• Money was donated to the families of the poor during the wedding to support their families financially. If anyone in the village encounters any problem, he will be at the forefront of the problem.
• He conducted Cultural and Traditional programs and noticed every student’s talent and he gave the best advice for their future career.

Pandemic Services

During the first wave of Corona-

• Chandra Sekhar came forward to help the needy who have been affected by lockdown and distributed vegetables and fruits to the villagers, needy ones, and Municipality workers by following the precautions.
• Food item packets for drivers and migrant laborers were distributed whose livelihood has been affected during this lockdown period.
• He came forward with humanity to help those in dire straits during the corona and provide financial assistance to the people who are affected by the lockdown.
• He apportioned Masks, Sanitizers, and food to the poor and also contributed to them financially.
• To spread awareness about social distancing and following precautionary measures to prevent the Epidemic Corona an awareness program has been conducted.
• As part of the drive to eradicate the corona epidemic, Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for safety of the village.

During the second wave of Corona-

• Chandra Sekhar distributed fruits and vegetables to the Villagers who are suffering due to the pandemic.
• He created awareness by explaining about the coronavirus spread which leads to a great loss to the earth.
• He provided food packets and water bottles to the roadside and the poor people.
• Chandra Sekhar also provided free masks and sanitizers to people with corona deficiency symptoms at the hospital.
• He worked all days(Day and Night) during the Covid period and looked after the people.
• With the help of the TRS party, Chandra Shekar handed over the Remdesivir injection to those who needed it to escape the corona.
• He is constantly available mainly to the poorest people in the zone.
