Eka Prabhakar Rao

Prabhakar Rao was the Ex- Congress Mandal President of Tangutur. He was born on 02-September-1955 to Chinna Swamaiah & Govindamma in Alakurapadu village of Tangutur Mandal. In 1972, He has Completed SSC Standard from ABM School in Ongole. From 1975-1995, he has started his own business in Tangutur.

He started his political journey in 1989 with the Indian National Congress(INC) Party. From 1990-1992, he was served as Mandal Youth Congress Secretary of Tangutur village. He was selected as District Youth Congress Secretary of Prakasam, from 1992-1994.

From 1993-2004, he worked as President of All India Indiraji SC and ST Welfare Federation. He was appointed as District Congress General Secretary of Prakasam Dist, from 2008-2011. Prabhakar Rao was served as Mandal Congress Party President from 2013-2014 in Tangutur Mandal. In 2018, He joined the YSRCP.

Social Activities:

• Prabhakar has done so many Social Activities. He distributed Blankets, Fruits to the old aged people, donated dresses, food, to the orphans. He laid CC roads, put Street Lights, fought for village problems.
• Participated in Haritha Haram, Swachh Bharath programs. He encouraged the students by conducting awareness programs for each student to study. He makes orphan children study and allotted teachers to them.
