Eggula Sreenivasulu

Eggula Sreenivasulu is the State SC-Cell General Secretary of Andhra Pradesh from YSRCP.

He was born to Nagendra & Prabhavathi on 10-06-1980 and raised at Anantapur.

In 1996, Eggula Sreenivasulu finished his Secondary Board Of Education from Municipal Govt. High School at Anantapur and Intermediate from Sai Baba Junior College in the year 1998.

He received a B.Com from Government Arts College, Anantapur, and BCA(Bachelor of Computer Applications) from Tirupati SV University in 2000.

Later in 2004, He earned his Master’s(MBA) from the Sri Venkateswara University (commonly referred to as S.V. University or SVU) in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.

Political Career:

Eggula Sreenivasulu became involved with politics in 1995 through the National Students Union of India (NSUI), the student wing of the Indian National Congress.

He regularly fights for the issues of students and solving those by participating in Student Dharnas, Rallies at every level irrespective of the zone.

Under the favorable of Ponnam Prabhakar, Eggula Sreenivasulu served as the State General Secretary of Andhra Pradesh from NSUI and carried out his duties and responsibilities between 1998 to 2004.

He joined the Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti (M.R.P.S) in 2004 and designated as the State Yuvasena Secretary of M.R.P.S.

Eggula Sreenivasulu appointed as the Chairperson of Rayalaseema Dalit Sangam Disciplinary Committee in 2018 and Since then he has been working comprehensively all the time for the assigned position. He was a Member of the Central Visionary Commission.

In 2006, he became the State Vice President under the auspices of Krupakar Madiga and carried out his duties for the welfare of the people.

In the year 2007, Eggula Sreenivasulu engaged and played the main role in ABCD Foot March (Padayatra) along with his team from Ongole to Hyderabad by marching in the places of Nellore, Kadapa, Anantapur, Kurnool, Mahbubnagar, and Hyderabad.

After the death of YS Rajasekhar Reddy, Eggula Sreenivasulu played a key role in the formation of the YSR Congress Party and joined the party, is an Indian regional political party based in the state of Andhra Pradesh founded by Y.S.Jaganmohan Reddy in 2011. He was an Active Member of the Party in 2011.

He played the main role and actively participated in Y.S Jagan’s Padayatra(Oodharpu Yatra), Sharmila’s  Padayatra along Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy(The present Chief Minister of AP)to all over the Constituencies.

Participated in the Samaikyandhra Movement to prevent the division of the state – separating the Telangana districts of the state into a separate Telangana state.

He was appointed as the Co-Ordinator for Kurnool and Kadapa in the year 2011 it is the first position after the YSR Congress Party formation.

Eggula Sreenivasulu upgraded his responsibility in 2014 by accepting the honorable position of SC Vibhag State Secretary and General Secretary from the YSR Congress Party to continue his duties and serve people all the way.

With the dedication and sincerity towards his work, the position upgraded to SC Vibhag State Secretary of Andhra Pradesh in the year 2018, and Since then he has been following the rules assigned to him, fulfilling his responsibilities, doing his part to help the people as well as work for the development of the party.

Party Activities:

• His primary motive is to support the farmers for their welfare as the farmers are the backbone of our country and stood up for them all the time by conducting dharnas, rallies to bring proper justice to a farmer
• He Fought for farmers who have leased the crop and for those who have lost crops due to weather conditions.
• Eggula Sreenivasulu supported the farmer’s strike protesting against the agriculture reforms.
• He Participated in movements for farmers crop discounted prices.
• He questions the authority for the development that is not happening in his village and raises it for the opposite decision taken by the government.
• Eggula Sreenivasulu involved in student Dharnas and fought for many issues like Fee Reiumbersemnt, Meals for Hostels, Reservation seats, Hostel Facilities to poor Students, Admissions for Students, essential things for Hostel, and for college students.
• He took part in many activities at the YSRCP Party. He Participated in Foot March(Pada Yatra), Consolation Trip(Odarpu Yatra), and Praja Sankalpa Yatra organized by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy. He also played an important role in the recent Hiking(Pada Yatra) organized by Y.S.Sharmila.
• Eggula Sreenivasulu works constantly and strives hard for the growth and expansion of the party.
• He always fights against anti-corruption. He said that making money in terms of corruption is a disgrace to our country and that such money is equivalent to scrap paper and those who make money in such a corrupt manner do not deserve respect in society.
• Fighting for those subjected to injustice in the caste conveys that humanity resides in nature, not by caste or religion.
• Fought over occupied land of poor people and allotted their homeland to the owners.
• He eradicated untouchability in his village by conducting awareness programs.
• He participated in many Dharnas, Rallies, and Bandhs like Rasta Roko, and Bike Rallies.

Welfare Activities: 

• He organized the blood camps and medical camps, checkups in the village and helped by distributing medicines, and other essential things to the people, and also he donated blood for the needy people.
• Eggula Sreenivasulu is fighting with the government to provide proper employment to the unemployed who are worried about getting a proper job even after graduation.
• He briefly explained the schemes released by the Andhra Pradesh government to the general public. He was also a regular contributor to those who were facing complications during the availability of those schemes.
• Eggula Sreenivasulu financially assisted the poor people in the village and helped them in all possible ways.
  
• He distributed vegetables and fruits to the un-healthy students and needy people in the village.
  
• He fought and solved the issues like pensions, Ration cards, Health cards, and also the issue relating to Aadhar cards.
  
• Distributed Books, pads, and Stationary things to High School Students and motivates them to score high marks.
  
• Eggula Sreenivasulu provided his financial support to the poor people in the village and also donated a certain amount to the merit students for their higher education.
  
• He conducted Village development activities in the village like laying of CC Roads, Digging of Borewells, Putting up Street Lights, Clearance of Drainage systems, and Solving water Problems.
  
• Distributed food and clothing to the Orphan Children and helped them by donating a certain amount whenever required.
  
• Conducted many party meetings and involved in social activities for the Party recognition.
  
• He financially contributed to the development of hostel Infrastructure such as benches, chairs, tube lights, beds, fans, and many more.

Services rendered During Covid-19:

• Distributed vegetables and fruits to the villagers, Migrants, needy ones, and Municipality workers in the covid-19.
  
• Food item packets for rickshaw drivers and migrant laborers were distributed whose livelihood has been affected during this lockdown period.
  
• He apportioned Masks, Sanitizers, and food to the poor and also contributed to them financially.
  
• To spread awareness about social distancing to and follow precautionary measures to prevent the Epidemic in Corona an awareness camp was held in the village.
  
• Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for the safety of the village.
  
• He worked all days(Day and Night) during the covid period and looked after the people.
  
• He is constantly available mainly to the poorest people in the zone.
