Durgam Naresh

Durgam Naresh is the Senior Leader of the Political Party TRS.

Early Life&Education:

Being born into a lower-middle-class family on 11th February as the Youngest brother of 4 brothers and 1 Sister for the couple Durgam Raja Lingam and Mallamma and Raised up in Paidipally Village of Velgatoor Mandal.

He had a simple educational background as anyone and everyone does like the Secondary Board of Education in 1991 from Gunj High School located at Karimnagar.

He completed his Undergraduate in Somagudem. In 2021, Naresh is Pursuing LLB from Mahatma Gandhi law college placed at Hyderabad.

Despite handling huge family responsibilities, he always had greater achievements Professionally and Educationally.

Early Political Life

From his childhood, he has a keen interest in Politics. In 1988, Naresh started his political journey as a Student Leader of the All India Students Federation(AISF) to ensure that the initial and subsequent tasks run smoothly.

From 1989-1990, he worked as District Convener of AISF from Karimnagar. Deshini Chinna Mallaiah is Naresh’s political mentor.

From an early age, he was very interested in politics and his interest turned him into a politician who expected the happiness of the people through his service.

As being a Student Leader he worked hard to promote the right perspective towards the need for holistic and sustainable development in students by doing his part to alleviate the hardships faced by the students.

School Development Activities:

• He assisted the primary schools in the village and provided better infrastructure facilities in the schools.
• Every year Distribution of books, pens, and clothes to poor children for their higher education, as well as assisting poor people if someone expires by donating a certain amount for the assassinated family.
• Every year he Distributed books, pens, and clothes to poor children for their higher education and also helped them financially for their bright future.
• Each year he organized cultural events at the school and presented prizes to those who enthusiastically participated in the event and achieved success.
• Naresh mainly focused on issues related to students like Fee reimbursement and worked hard to ensure that scholarships were granted to students immediately.
• Naresh fights for job reservation for students who are struggling to find a decent job after the conclusion of their education to lead their livelihood.
• Naresh is fighting with the government to provide proper employment to the unemployed who are worried about getting a proper job even after graduation.

Political Career

In 1994, Naresh joined the Telugu Desam Party(TDP). In view of the efforts being made for the development of the party, In the year the Mandal Leader, Mandamarri.

Prior to the founding of the Teresa Party, Durgam Naresh and Nallala Odelu (currently the highest-ranking MLA for the Chennur constituency) used to stay at Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao’s house and watch the proceedings. In the presence of KCR, they were expected to join any party founded by that party. Naresh later joined the party in 2001 when Telangana Rashtra Samithi Party founded by the KCR.

In 2009, Naresh tried for the TRS ticket in the Chennur constituency.

For his perseverance, dedication, and service, Sreenivas was appointed as TDP President under the auspicious of Former CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu as well as took charge of Chennur Constituency Incharge from the TDP and he has been in the position which was assigned and rendered services to many through his kind heart by fulfilling the tasks assigned to him and won the admiration of the people.

He participates in an election campaign during the 2014 elections.

Even when Naresh changed the political party, there was no deficit in providing services to the people. He fulfilled the needs of everyone who relied on him.

In 2017, Naresh joined the Telangana Jana Samiti(TJS) party under the auspicious of the party founder Muddasani Kodandaram Reddy but he no longer served in the party he resigns from the TJS party and re-joins the Telangana Rashtra Samithi Party(TRS) on party orders for refusing a ticket to the Mahakutami candidate.

Since the day he rejoined the Party, he has been serving as a Senior Leader of the TRS party and discharging his duties with a code of Conduct.

From the moment he was given the positions till now he has been using all his resources for the people and pursuing his happy life of public welfare and briefly outlining and following the rules and regulations for the betterment of the party as well as the welfare of the people.

Party Activities

• TRS party senior leaders Durgam Naresh and party members on an indefinite strike across the state to demand higher wages for Gram Panchayat employees and workers.
• TRS party senior leaders Durgam Naresh and party members met Telangana IT Minister KTR to discuss development programs and issues in the constituency.
• A worker working at the substation was electrocuted and died. TRS party leaders Durgam Naresh and party workers staged a dharna in front of Mancherial Government Hospital demanding justice for the workers and adequate ex-gratia.
• TRS party leaders who participated in the mourning meeting of the Telangana movement Parthasarathy Kamabapu and paid tributes to him.
• Many party development programs were carried out in the village for the growth of the party and he respectably accepts the work assigned by the higher authorities and is completely involved to sort out the issues raised on any topics.
• During Telangana Movement, Naresh played an active role and fought for the separation of Telangana from Andhra Pradesh and to form the Telangana as a separate State and He lent great support to the Telangana Statehood Movement by providing intellectual support.
• Naresh is actively involved in the programs organized by the Party. He conveyed and explained to the people about the greatness of the Party all over the constituency.
• If anyone in the village encounters any problem, Naresh will be at the forefront of the problem.
• Naresh is not limited to his services to the village but also extends to the people of the entire district.

Social Activities:

• Pension money from the government is supporting old aged people and the handicapped to make ends meet, but circumstances related to pensions were cleared by providing pensions to the respective holders.
• He is fulfilling his responsibilities to help the disabled in all ways in terms of organization.
• Naresh has performed many social activities in the village such as providing food to the Old aged and Orphan Children, Mineral water to the Villagers.
• He carries out his responsibilities while looking after the welfare of the people living in the village and zone by clearing the issues related to Water, Drainages, and every minute problem to the individual.
• He helped the old and poor people in the village by providing the basic essentials to them for survival and also assisted them during the financial crisis.
• Many service activities were organized such as blankets for beggars, clothes for the poor, and food for orphaned children.
• Helped a lot financially for the migrant workers and the poor. Free meals were provided to orphans and the elderly each year.
• Naresh is not limited to his services to the village but also extends to the people of the entire district.
• He fights over the problems of the people, for the welfare of the people.
• Clean and Green was aimed to increase green cover and improve sanitation in villages. As a part of Haritha Haram, massive plantation programs were taken up and supply has improved.
• Besides taking up sanitation works, debris of ruined houses/buildings was removed as part of the Palle Pragathi. Removal of stagnant water, filling potholes on the roads, and weeding out wild plants, were also part of the program.
  

Services Rendered in Covid-19 Pandemic

During the First wave of Corona:

• Naresh came forward to help the needy who have been affected by lockdown and distributed vegetables and fruits to the villagers, needy ones, and Municipality workers by following the precautions.
• Food item packets for drivers and migrant laborers were distributed whose livelihood has been affected during this lockdown period.
• Naresh came forward with humanity to help those in dire straits during the corona and provide financial assistance to the people who are affected by the lockdown.
• He apportioned Masks, Sanitizers, and food to the poor and also contributed to them financially.
• To spread awareness about social distancing and following precautionary measures to prevent the Epidemic Corona an awareness program has been conducted.
• As part of the drive to eradicate the corona epidemic, Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for the safety of the village.

During the Second Wave of Corona:

• Naresh also provided free masks and sanitizers to people with corona deficiency symptoms at the hospital.
• The village was completely sprayed with Sodium hypochlorite Solution to prevent the disease to enter the surroundings.
• Many precautions and measures are been taken to prevent the virus as much as possible.
• He worked all days (Day and Night) during the covid period and looked after the people.
• He is constantly available mainly to the poorest people in the zone.
