Durga Rao Mamidi

Durga Rao Mamidi is an Indian Politician of YSRCP and Mandal Social Media Convener of Nellimarla in Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh.

Early Life and Education:

On the 12th of December, 1995, Durga Rao was born to the couple Mr. Mamidi Surya Narayana and Mrs. Mamidi Kanthamma and raised in the Pedatharimi of Nellimarla in Vizianagaram in the Indian State of Telangana.

In 2012, Durga Rao Studied for his Secondary Board of Education at Zilla Parishad High School at  Boppadam of Nellimarla in Vizianagaram in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh and he completed his ITI at Ambedkar Memorial ITI College in Buchanna Koneru.

Professional Life:

Soon after accomplishing his education, Durga Rao Mamidi started his career by working as an Operator in Pharma Industry. Ever since he began the profession, he simultaneously handled his family responsibilities.

A career in Politics:

Durga Rao eventually joined the Indian National Congress Party (INC) in 2014 due to a strong desire to serve his country and its people. He agreed to work for the greater good by resolving minor issues and tackling enormous social challenges.

Durga Rao Mamidi has a genuine interest in the Party and actively participates in all activities as an Active Member, carrying out his responsibilities in accordance with a code of conduct and for the benefit of the party’s public exposure.

In the year 2015, Durga Rao Mamidi switches over to the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP), which is founded by the current Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and President of YSRCP Shri. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Since joining, he has been working incredibly as a YSRCP Party Activist working hard for the welfare of the people, constantly striving for the development of society, and has rendered desperate services to society.

He was appointed and took charge as Mandal Social Media Convener from Nellimarla in 2022. He demonstrated his commitment to the people by continuously working for their well-being and striving to benefit them by being a Social Media Convener.

Party Activities:

• He has constantly been fighting against anti-people decisions of the central and state governments and has staged many protests and dharnas.
• During Elections, he actively participated in the Door-to-Door election campaign and worked hard to bring more voters to win the party in his locality.
• He was involved in the grand journey of the Public Will Yatra(Praja Sankalpa Yatra), Sakala Janula Samme, and actively involved and played a key role in the programs organized by YSRCP Party.
• He played a prominent role and actively participated in Foot March (Padayatra) long with Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy (The present Chief Minister of AP) all over the Constituencies to bring a special status to the party.
• Durga Rao Mamidi conveyed to the people the party’s greatness and the symbol and ideology of the YSRCP Party to the party leaders.
• He was briefing the people on the welfare schemes introduced by the government for the upliftment of the backward classes through a mobilization Program.

Services Rendered during dreadful Pandemic:

• Durga Rao Mamidi acted humanely during the crisis, assisting individuals in distress and providing additional assistance to those afflicted by the lockdown.
• He offered masks, sanitizers, meals to the underprivileged, and financial assistance.
• During the crisis, he responded generously, aiding those in need and giving particular support to those impacted by the lockdown.
• He distributed Blankets, Fruits to the old people and donated dresses and food to the orphans.
• For the public’s protection, sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all around the village as part of the effort to eliminate the corona outbreak.
• During the corona epidemic, medicines were distributed free of charge, raising awareness of the need to be careful before contracting corona disease.
