Dumpala Jagan

Dumpala Jagan is an Indian Politician belonging to the TDP. He currently holds the position of Khammam District Leader, from the state of Telangana.

Born and Education: 

On 12th May 1986, Jagan was born to the couple Bakkayya and Chukkamma. He was raised in Nelapatla.

Jagan received his Board of Secondary Education in 2002 at Zilla Parishad high school located at Nelapatla. From 2002-2004, he earned his Intermediate at SVS junior college and resided at Kusumanchi.

Professional Life:

Soon after completing his studies, Jagan started his professional career as an Auto Driver.

Jagan has been associated with the SC Mala Community since 2010. He played an active role in the community being a Member.

A career in Politics:

Jagan always had the utmost zeal and enthusiasm to serve and help the people in need. As a young boy, he offered his services voluntarily to the public. His passion for Pubilc Service led him to pursue a career in Politics. He officially entered Politics with the Telugu Desam Party(TDP) in 2012.

He established himself as a Public Leader as soon as he joined the party by contributing to the party’s welfare activities. In acknowledgment of his efforts and hard work, he was designated a Party Worker and a Social Worker by party officials and was recognized as a key strategist for being instrumental in successfully working as a party activist.

He was chosen as a Member of the Village Party. In order to fulfill his obligations as a Village Activist, he actively engaged in village development initiatives such as Haritha Haram, Swachh Bharat, the construction of CC roads, etc.

The party officials offer him the position of Telugu Yuvatha Mandal President he effectively served in the position from 2014-2015. Jagan was appointed and took charge as Mandal Executive Committee Member from Kusumanchi, Khammam district during his term as Executive Committee Member he was more active in Politics and continuously strived for the well-being of the people.

Jagan was appointed and held the honorary position of Khammam District Leader. The party officials elected him as District Leader from the state of Telangana in recognition of his Constant dedication and pure effort.

Telangana Movement:

The Telangana Movement refers to a movement in India seeking the separation of the present state of Andhra Pradesh into the new state of Telangana. The Union Cabinet unilaterally approved the Telangana formation bill on February 07, 2014. This is one of the longest-lasting movements in South India, having lasted for over a decade.

Jagan had an active part in the Telangana Separate State Movement in the late 2000s, which was led by the current chief minister, K.Chandrashekar Rao. As part of the Telangana Movement, he participated in Chalo Hyderabad, Vanta Varpu, dharnas, rasta rokos, protest programs, and rallies.

Social Service: 

• He conducts awareness of voting by telling that Exercising the right to vote is one of the most important duties of a citizen in a democracy. He motivates people by saying such things.
• Jagan is always at the forefront of social service. He extended his assistance in unique ways.
• He participated in projects such as Harithaharam and Swachh Bharath to clean the environment.
• Organized a blood drive and medical camp in the Nelapatla village and gave blood to those in need.
• Jagan provided financial assistance to the needy villagers and aided them in whatever manner possible when necessary.
• He has been celebrating the birth and death anniversaries of independence fighters and inspiring youth by telling their sacrifices.
• Distributed wet and dry garbages and raised awareness about their proper usage.
• Jagan educated the residents of Nelapatla regarding the risks of plastic usage and banned its use in the village.
• Jagan taught the people how to utilize cell phones and modern technologies.

Jagan’s Contribution to the Public During the Pandemic:

-He provided financial and humanitarian support to those who were impacted by the lockdown during the first and second waves of Corona. During the crisis, and responded with compassion, aiding people who were in distress and offering further assistance to those who were harmed by the locking down.

-Jagan came forward to assist people who had been affected by the lockdown by giving vegetables and fruits to villages, the homeless, and Municipality employees while following the procedures in place and distributing Covid Kits to the members who were afflicted with the appropriate sickness while in their home quartine.

-An awareness demonstration was performed to raise awareness about social distance and the need of taking precautionary steps in an attempt to eliminate the Corona Epidemic from occurring.

-When the coronavirus was finally exterminated, sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed across the whole village to ensure that the villagers were not exposed to any harmful effects.

-The Covid Immunization Drive was organized in response to Prime Minister Modi’s plea order to increase awareness among the general population about the need of acquiring a free corona vaccination.
