Dr. Pratibha Mallu

INTRODUCTION:

Dr. Pratibha Mallu is a committed Social Activist with her roots in Hyderabad, a prominent city located in the Indian state of Telangana. In her role as a social worker, she has been actively engaged with various segments of society within Telangana State. Her extensive social connections span across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, encompassing a wide network of relatives and friends.

EDUCATION:

Dr. Pratibha Mallu came into the world on August 28, 1974, in the Wyra Village of Khammam from the Indian State of Telangana.

She pursued her education at a Central School and achieved a Bachelor’s degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and   Surgery (B.A.M.S.).

OBJECTIVE:

Pratibha aspires to uplift socially marginalized individuals, empower women, and foster awareness regarding women’s physical and mental health while promoting self-sustainability. She aims to instil a robust sense of confidence in women, enabling them to navigate society with economic and mental stability, thereby contributing to a prosperous society. Leveraging her background as an Ayurvedic doctor, she diligently works towards realizing this vision within the organization under compassionate leadership.

 VISION:

It is essential to provide robust support and establish a solid party foundation within marginalized and minority communities. She involves comprehending and addressing the persistent challenges these communities face, particularly those classified as backward and belonging to the Dasari Community. The ultimate goal is to earn their confidence and trust.

Pratibha aim is to play a role in the advancement of Telangana.She pledges to wholeheartedly dedicate herself to the government’s welfare programs and initiatives, striving to improve the lives of the general public. • She has also been involved in inspecting rain-affected areas due to heavy wind and rainfall, where fallen trees posed a threat to road safety. To prevent traffic jams and inconvenience to the public, she worked with the Disaster Response Team at Jubilee Hills Assembly Constituency to clear the road promptly.

PANDEMIC ACTIVITIES:

• During the lockdown, she actively took part in providing meals to the less fortunate for a total of 62 days.
• For a period of 13 days, she distributed masks and sanitizers in the Hyderabad and Telangana regions.
• She was actively involved in the distribution of food kits, sanitizers, and masks through door-to-door delivery.
• She also participated in sanitation efforts and provided instructions to GHMC workers on necessary precautions, including the disinfection of public spaces. She inspected the conditions in the Jubilee Hills Assembly Constituency and Hyderabad.
• Pratibha conducted awareness programs to educate people about the importance of proper social distancing, as well as the use and significance of masks and sanitizers. She emphasized the importance of taking all necessary precautions before leaving their homes.
• She played a key role in organizing and participating in a ‘MEGA VACCINATION DRIVE’ in Hyderabad. She held discussions with officers, doctors, and Asha Workers about the drive, which resulted in approximately 1000 registered individuals receiving vaccines daily at Jubilee Hills.

FAMILY BACKGROUND:

Pratibha comes from a highly regarded political lineage. Her husband, Shri Mr. Ramesh Mallu(late), was the son of the well-known politician Mr. A.R. Mallu. Mr. A.R. Mallu had a distinguished political career, having served as a Member of Lok Sabha from Nagarkurnool, a former AICC General Secretary, a delegate in a Parliamentary Committee, and held responsibilities in 13 states. He was also closely associated with prominent leaders like Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi. Besides his political roles, he was actively engaged in social work and was considered a senior politician. Their family has deep-rooted connections and influence in the Khammam and Nagarkurnool regions, actively participating in local activities and being readily available to the community. They belong to the Dasari Community and are committed to serving all sections of society.

Pratibha’s educational journey was marked by her father’s service in various states, leading her to attend different Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) schools in diverse locations. This exposure exposed her to multiple languages and cultures, providing valuable learning experiences. After her father’s retirement, their family settled in Hyderabad. She emerged as a strong leader, holding positions such as TDP State Secretary and contesting as a Corporator from Jubilee Hills. Her mother’s leadership was pivotal in securing victories, notably supporting Chintala Ram Chandra Reddy, who won with a substantial majority.

Pratibha’s marriage into the renowned political family of Mr. AR Mallu, a legendary leader, further solidified her ties to the political arena. Her husband, Mr. Ramesh Mallu, dedicated 25 years to the Congress Party and founded the AR Mallu Trust in collaboration with Shri Buta Singh. He spearheaded an organization known as Bharat Ekta Andolan, which focused on assisting the underprivileged segments of society. Additionally, he actively engaged with employee associations, advocating for the concerns of socially backward individuals. With a legacy spanning two generations, her family has been deeply committed to serving the party and the people.

 THE COMPLEX LEGACY OF MR. A.R. MALLU

Mr Ravi Mallu and Mr. Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka have consistently presented themselves as the sons and rightful heirs of Mr. A.R. Mallu following his unfortunate demise in February 1990, under circumstances shrouded in suspicion. Notably, Mr. A.R. Mallu entered the realm of politics in 1978. He served as the 7th Lok Sabha Member from Nagar Kurnool for three consecutive terms and was twice appointed as a Delegate Abroad by Indira Gandhi. In 1986, Rajiv Gandhi entrusted him with the role of APSFC Chairman for all India. In 1988, he held the position of Joint Secretary of AICC, and in 1989, he became the General Secretary of AICC. His responsibilities span 13 states, and in 1990, he assumed the role of PCC President for Andhra Pradesh before his untimely political passing on February 7th, 1990.

Pratibha’s husband, Mr Ramesh Mallu, is the legitimate son and legal heir of Mr. A.R. Mallu. However, he has faced marginalization and neglect, consistently denying his rightful entitlements. We have previously raised these concerns with various authorities, but justice has eluded us thus far, with the reasons behind such actions known only to those involved.

• లాక్డౌన్ సమయంలో, ప్రతిభ గారు మొత్తం 62 రోజుల పాటు పేద ప్రజలకు భోజనం అందించడంలో పాల్గొన్నారు.
  
• 13 రోజుల పాటు, తాను హైదరాబాద్ ప్రాంతాలలో మాస్కులు మరియు శానిటైజర్లను పంపిణీ చేశారు.
  
• డోర్ టు డోర్ డెలివరీ ద్వారా ఫుడ్ కిట్లు, శానిటైజర్లు మరియు మాస్క్‌ల పంపిణీలో పాల్గొన్నారు.
