Dr. Nagabhushanam Koppolu is a State Veteran Journalist in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh.
Early Life and Education:
On the 01st of July 1962, Dr. Nagabhushanam Koppolu was born to a couple Mr. Koppolu Subramanyam(Late) and Mrs. Koppolu Anasuyamma(Late) resided in the village of Krishnapatnam in Muthukur Mandal at Nellore District in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh.
In 1978, Nagabhushanam acquired his Secondary Board of Education from Muthukur High School at Nellore and Completed his 2-years course of Intermediate from Sri Sarvodya Junior College located in Nellore District in the year 1980.
He finished his Graduation from Sri Sarvodya Degree college at Nellore District in the year 1983.
Professional Career:
As he proceeded to gratify his functions and responsibilities, Nagabhushanam developed into a State Veteran Journalist in the State of Andha Pradesh and Social Activist and simultaneously balanced multiple tasks by meeting the needs of people.
A career in Politics:
In the Continuation of his Education, Nagabhushanam began his political career by joining the SFI-Student Federation of India, which is an Indian left-wing student organization politically aligned to the Communist Party of India and served as the Member by rendering service to the students and people irrespective of their Caste, Race, Gender, and Religion.
Mottos like “Duty and Discipline” or “Duty, Unity, and Discipline” came to mind, as well as variations on those themes. NCC aims to and is one of the most significant national cohesive forces, bringing together young people from all across the country and developing them into disciplined and united citizens in 1978.”
By pursuing his Graduation, Nagabhushanam worked in an NSS and solved the student’s issues and cleared the consequences raised in the College and among the students.
In 1983, Nagabhushanam began his political career by joining the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and continued rendering services to the people of TDP.
Nagabhushanam was a sincere TDP Party Activist right from his joining and propagating its principles from the beginning. He has been deeply attracted by the policies and ideals of the party and the vision of our great leader, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He was immensely inspired by the unique schemes
In 1983, Chenna Reddy Penchal Reddy contested as MLA of TDP candidate for Sarvepalli Constituency. Nagabhusham worked hard to win the Candidate of TDP party.
He was designated as the Mandal Convener of Muthukur Mandal from TDP in 1983 to serve the people and tackle the issues raised by executing his tasks effectively and adhering to the party’s policies and guidelines.
His everlasting dedication and genuine effort earned him the post of Society Director of Krishnapatnam in Nellore District; since then, he has worked continuously for the people, considered their welfare, and garnered the utmost adoration of the people.
His unwavering commitment and genuine effort gained him the post of Director of Krishnapatnam Primary Agriculture Cooperative Credit Union of Krishnapatnam in Muthukur Mandal. He has constantly been working for the people, thinking about their welfare, and gaining immense admiration from the people.
Ever since he started rendering services to the people with the assigned authority, he has constantly been working for them, thinking about their welfare and gaining immense admiration from the People.
Career In Social Life:
Beginning at a young age, Nagabhushanam had a passion for working in public service and has been accustomed to service since childhood. He also conducted many service programs in the Village.
As a Social Activist, he has performed many welfare and developmental activities and awareness programs for the welfare of the people in society.
With the sole idea of helping the poor in all possible ways, Nagabhushanam established an Association called Sri Sai Youth Association and served as the Founder of 1996 the respective community to serve the people in all ways by leading himself when they were in difficulty. His pure sense of humor turned him into a great man with humanity.
Family Participation In Politics:
Nagabhushanam served in various positions and served the people. His wife was also involved in politics by following in his footsteps.
Nagabhushanam’s Wife was elected as the 2nd Ward Member of Krishnapatnam in Muthukur Mandal from INC. Nagabhushanam, with the association of his Wife, has performed social activities which led to the development of the village.
Awards & Recognition:
Nagabhushanam engaged in sports during his education and won a prize.
Nagabhushanam received an Honorary Doctorate Award from Global Human Peace University International on October 1st, 2022, in commemoration of his 26 years of journalistic and 26 years of social participation.
Activities Performed:
- In addition to addressing village development challenges, he took part in other social service initiatives, including Clean and Green, Casting of Plants, and the Palle Pragathi program.
- He was extensively engrossed in many social service activities and worked hard to bring numerous state and central government schemes to the public’s attention and support them in receiving benefits, as well as maintain solid and cordial relationships with individuals from all walks of humanity and leadership.
- An awareness demonstration was performed to raise awareness about social distancing and the need to take precautionary steps to eliminate the Corona Epidemic.
- Nagabhushanam demanded the minister and the MRO officer distributed white ration cards to 200 individuals after realizing that white ration cards had been distributed to 35 residents in the community.
- After fighting in Krishnapatnam Shiva temple and Vishna temple, arrangements were made for regular flower garland decorations, regular prasad consumption, palanquin services in Shiva temple every Monday, and palanquin services in Venugopalaswamy temple every Saturday.
- He contested as an independent candidate in the 1989 assembly elections in Sarvepalli constituency and lost.
- Money was donated to the families of the poor during the wedding to support their families financially.
- When the Andhra Pradesh Thermal Power Center was not opened, Nagabhushanam began from concept to completion.
- All of the public’s gas distribution applications have been fulfilled by Nagabhushanam.
- Nagabhushanam provided services to the public at no charge and did not solicit compensation.
- He organized a blood donation camp and a medical camp in the village every year and donated blood to people in need.
Social Activities:
- He Participated in the Village development activities in the village like laying of CC Roads, Digging Borewells, Putting up Street Lights, Clearance Drainage systems, and Solving water Problems.
- Nagabhushanam continues to struggle to abolish the concept of caste and religious distinctions in society and for human equality in all aspects of his life.
- He served the elderly and needy in the community by supplying them with the necessities of life and assisting them through times of financial hardship.
- He played an active role in ensuring that help programs for the poor were in place and that they were able to survive their existence.
- Nagabhushanam is fighting with the government to offer suitable jobs to the jobless, who are concerned about finding a good job even after graduating from college or university.
- Nagabhushanam offered financial support as well as other kinds of relief to the village’s needy people and will be accessible to the village’s residents during their tough times.
Pandemic Services:
- He provided financial and humanitarian support to those impacted by the lockdown during Corona’s first and second waves. During the crisis, and responded with compassion, aiding people in distress and offering further assistance to those harmed by the locking down.
- He reacted generously throughout the crisis, assisting people in need and providing particular assistance to individuals affected by the lockdown. Nagabhushanam distributed face masks, hand sanitizers, and meals to the less fortunate and financially supported them.
- Nagabhushanam came forward to assist people affected by the lockdown by giving vegetables and fruits to villages, the homeless, and Municipality employees while following the procedures in place.
- An awareness demonstration was performed to raise awareness about social distancing and the need to take precautionary steps to eliminate the Corona Epidemic.
- When the coronavirus was finally exterminated, sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed across the whole village to ensure that the villagers were not exposed to any harmful effects.
- The Covid Immunization Drive was organized in response to Prime Minister Modi’s plea to increase awareness among the general population about the need to acquire a free corona vaccination.

సొసయిటీ డైరెక్టర్ డా.నాగభూషణం గారు 1983 తెలుగు దేశం పార్టీ ఏర్పాటు చేసిన నందమూరి తారక రామారావు పిలుపు మేరకు టిడిపి లో చేరడం జరిగింది. ముత్తుకూరు మండలం టిడిపి కన్వీనర్ గా పని చేసారు. అప్పుడు జరిగిన సర్వేపల్లి నియోజకవర్గం ఎన్నికల్లో టీడీపీ అభ్యర్థిగా పోటీ చేసిన చెన్నారెడ్డి పెంచల రెడ్డి గెలుపు కు నియోజకవర్గం స్థాయిలో కృషి చేసి గెలిపించడం జరిగింది. కృష్ణపట్నం ప్రాధమిక వ్యవసాయ సహకార పరపతి సంఘం డైరెక్టర్ గా ఏకగ్రీవంగా ఎన్నికవ్వడం జరిగింది.రైతుల కోసం పనిచేసి వారికి రుణం మంజూరు లో పూర్తి సహకారం అందచేయడం జరిగింది. రసాయనిక ఎరువులు అందచేయడం జరిగింది. తుఫాను సహాయక కార్యక్రమాలలో సామాజిక బాధ్యత తో పాల్గొనడం జరిగింది .
కృష్ణపట్నం లో 200 మంది పేద కుటుంబాలకు ఐఏవై పథకం క్రింద రేషన్ బియ్యం కార్డు లు అదనంగా సాధించి పంపిణీ చేయడం జరిగింది. రాష్ట్ర మంత్రి ద్వారా 100, ఎమ్మార్వో ద్వారా మరో 100 కలిపి రెండు వందలు అదనపు కార్డులు సాధించి పంపిణీ చేయడం జరిగింది.ఈ కార్డు దారులకు 35 కిలోల వంతున బియ్యం అందడం జరిగింది.
కృష్ణపట్నం లో పివిసి పరిశ్రమ ఏర్పాటు ను వ్యతిరేకిస్తూ 2000-2001 మహోద్యమం సాగింది. పర్యావరణ పరిరక్షణ కు విఘాతం కలిగించే పాలీవినైల్ క్లోరైడ్ పరిశ్రమను అడ్డుకునేందుకు మహా ఉద్యమానికి జనవిజ్ఞాన వేదిక సభ్యులైన డాక్టర్ నాగభూషణం కొప్పోలు ప్రముఖ జర్నలిస్ట్ పునాది వేశారనుటలో సందేహంలేదు. పర్యావరణానికి విఘాతం కలిగించే పాలీవినైల్ క్లోరైడ్ పరిశ్రమను అడ్డుకునేందుకు క్రీ.శే. డాక్టర్ విజయ కుమార్ దృష్టి కి తీసుకు వెళ్ళడం జరిగింది. ఆయన ఈ మహా ఉద్యమానికి నాంది ప్రస్తావన వేశారు. ఈ ఉద్యమం లో నాయకులు రాగాల వెంకటేశ్వర్లు సహకారం మరువలేనిది. ఎన్ని ఒత్తిడులు వచ్చినా లక్షలాది రూపాయలను ఫ్యాక్టరీ యాజమాన్యం ఆశ చూపిన ఉద్యమానికి బాసటగా నిలిచారు. కృష్ణపట్నం పంచాయతీ పాలకవర్గం సర్పంచ్ రాగాల వరలక్ష్మి,వార్డు సభ్యులు కొప్పోలు రాజేశ్వరి తదితరులు, గ్రామస్తులు సహకారం తో పివిసి కి ఎదురు నిలిచారు. పంచాయతీ తీర్మానం చేయకుండా వ్యతిరేకించారు.ప్రజాభిప్రాయ సేకరణ కార్యక్రమం జరగకుండా జనవిజ్ఞాన వేదిక, సిపిఎం,సిపిఐ, ప్రజాసంఘాలతో కలిసి గట్టిగా వ్యతిరేకించి ప్యాక్టరీ యాజమాన్యాన్ని, అధికారులను తరిమేశారు. కొంత మంది పివిసి ఫ్యాక్టరీ యాజమాన్యం అందించే ప్యాకేజీ కి కక్కుర్తి పడి ఉద్యమాన్ని నీరుగార్చేందుకు ప్రయత్నించినా నాయకులు రాగాల వెంకటేశ్వర్లు, సర్పంచ్ వరలక్ష్మి, వార్డు సభ్యులు ఎదురు నిలవడం జరిగింది.
