Dr. Mohammad Hussain is the State President of the Community Paramedics Welfare Association (CPWA) and a BRS Senior Leader who continues to serve the people in his own unique way. In Both Politics and Social Work, Hussain Strives Constantly to give the People the greatest.
CHILDHOOD AND EDUCATION
He was born on 02-10-1968 to Mohammad Abdul Samad and Mahemuda Begum in Hyderabad.
In 1986, Hussain completed his schooling at Govt high school, located at Boath, Adilabad district. He earned his Intermediate from Govt junior college, Boath, Adilabad. In 1993, Hussain attained his Diploma in Homeopathy from Sathya University Lahari Saraye.
Hussain has been working as the RMP Doctor in various categories.
CAREER IN POLITICS
Hussain entered politics during his college days with a passion for politics and a determination to do good for the people. He was elected as General Secretary in 1990 while he was in Intermediate.
In 1999, He joined the Telugu Desam Party(TDP). TDP is a regional Indian political party active in the southern states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
In 2010, Hussain served as General Secretary of Doctor’s Wing from the TDP when the two states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana combined. In 2014, After Telangana get separated from Andhra Pradesh Hussain was promoted as State President of Doctor’s Wing to the Telugu Nadu Community Paramedical Association.
Hussain and an MLA (KP Vivekanand Goud Quthubullapur Constituency) have organized over 500 free health and blood donation programmes in Telangana’s slum regions.
There is no higher occupation than helping people. If we assist our peers while we are still living, they will never forget the good deeds we performed in our absence.
Hussain established the “Needs Welfare Association” with the slogan “Be Someone’s Light when they are Hopeless” and through the group he performed social work. Every year since he entered politics, Hussain has organized blood donation camps on October 2nd. So far, he has held 575 health camps and blood drives.
Hussain was selected and served as the General Secretary of the Universal Peace Center, performing his obligations and responsibilities with distinction. He is appointed as the General Secretary of the EKTA Welfare Society.
Hussain has assumed the position of State General Secretary for the Telugu Nadu Community Paramedical Association in Andhra Pradesh. Hussain was selected and served as State President of the Telugu Nadu Community Paramedical Association after state independence.
Hussain, who has been involved in politics for over a decade and has been a passionate supporter of the people, was appointed State President of the Community Paramedics Welfare Association(RMP & PMP) and is currently serving in the role.
Hussain experienced many ups and downs in his political career as a Senior Leader, but he never became weary. He moves on with the will to always do right by those who have faith in him.
The residents of Suraram saw Hussain’s government as the people’s leadership, and this time is regarded as the greatest age in the village’s history.
Recognizing Hussain’s diligence and tenacity, the people of Suraram elected him State General Secretary of Minority Cell for the TDP, a position he served from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, Hussain switched from the TDP to the Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) party.
In addition to his political career, he worked as a Sub-Editor for the monthly journal Mundadugu. Furthermore, he was the Director of the Suraram People’s Hospital.
AWARDS IN RECOGNITION OF HUSSAIN’S SERVICE
SOCIAL SERVICE AWARD: In 2014, Hussain has awarded the “Social Service” Award from Ambedkar Welfare Association.
BEST SOCIAL WORKER: In recognition of Hussain’s service, the government awarded him the “Best Social Worker” award at the state level on January 2015. He received the award at the hands of the Municipal MLA, MLC.
INDIRA PRIYADARSHINI AWARD: Suraram People’s Healthcare Dr.Mohammed Hussain received the “Indira Priyadarshini” Award in 2016. Roshaiah presented the award to Hussain at the Potti Sriramulu Telugu University under the auspices of the Healthcare International Organization. On the occasion, Hussain expressed his anxiety to receive the award and would continue his services for his life time.
MOTHER TERESA AWARD: Hussain was awarded the “Mother Teresa” Award by International Healthcare in 2017 for his unconditional social service to the needy and poor people.
VAIDYA RATNA AWARD: Mohammad Hussain of Quthbullapur Circle has been nominated for the “Vaidyaratna” Award presented by the Bahujan Sahitya Akademi at the national level. Vishnuvardhan, General Secretary, South India, announced that the award was given for providing the best services to the poor people around Suraram for the past two decades.
ICON OF THE YEAR 2020 AWARD: During the corona epidemic, Hussain provided essentials to the people and medicine for covid victims free of charge. And installed courage in the people. Conducted regular public health awareness seminars and arranged respective blood to the required people. In recognition of his services, The Shikharam Art Theater honored Hussain with the “Icon of the Year 2020” Award.
SEVARATNA AWARD: Dr. Mohammad Hussain received the “Sevaratna” Award at the hands of Quthbullapur MLA Vivekanand. He was nominated for the award for his services to the Needs Welfare Society as General Secretary.
CORONA WARRIOR AWARD: Hussain from Quthbullapur received the Corona Warrior Award. He received the award at the hands of Justice Chandraiah, Chairman of Telangana Human Rights Commission. The award was presented in recognition of services rendered to the public during Covid-19.
Hussain’s Contribution during Covid First Wave:
- Hussain is always ready to fight over people’s issues. He assisted his service even in the covid tough times.
- He prepared 10,000 kits for distribution to the poor during the corona. At the call of Chief Minister KCR and Minister KTR Hussain carried out his service activities extensively in the Quthbullapur constituency with the intention of no one should starve. MLA KP Vivekanand would prepare kits containing more than 10,000 rice and daily necessities for the poor. Hussain said public representatives and activists should help the poor in their areas and bring the issues to his attention immediately so that no one in the constituency is in trouble.
- As a doctor during the covid, Hussain was very alert to the villagers. He is used to saying that if proper precautions are taken the covid can get out of the trap and there is no need to fear.
- He admitted about 180 people to Tims, Nims, Gandhi Hospital, and provided them with free medical care.
- He distributed essentials, Masks, Sanitizers to the village people during the covid crisis.
- He financially helped covid victims by providing vitamin tablets, masks, Sanitizers, and fruits.
- Dr. Hussain especially appreciated and financially assisted the Manam Organization as it roamed in the auto by explaining to the public about the curfew, awareness on the virus, and precautions to be taken imposed by the Central and State Governments to eradicate the corona epidemic.
- He also created awareness on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.
- He distributed food and rice bags to the migrants and also contributed to them financially.
Hussain’s Contribution during Covid Second Wave:
- He provided essential commodities, Masks, Sanitizers to the village and poor people.
- Provided food packets, water bottles to the migrants, arranges buses to go to their villages.
- Conducted awareness programs to prevent Covid-19. Provide financial assistance to Covid-19 victims.
- He provided free food service to the municipal, police, front-line workers who worked a lot during Pandemic Covid-19.
- Distributes Rice, Vegetables to the Masks, Sanitizers to the Covid victims, and to the village people.
- He says covid-19 can be conquered with courage and corona victims should not lose courage.
- He donates food and clothes to poor and orphaned children during the Second Wave Corona and satisfies the hunger of many orphans.
- Arranged oxygen cylinders for the covid victims and saved many lives.

I have worked for the social, economic, and political empowerment of backward classes,
minorities, women, and other oppressed groups. I will continue to stand up for them as long
as I can hold my breath.
